Watching this 32 years later... still a top quality game. No dives, players throwing the ball back to the opposition after being penalised, deft touches, fast movement, all in all thrilling football.

Absolutely, he had a beautiful touch and his vision and passing ability was second to none. He was the orchestrator in midfield and most of the best play went through him. Don't expect him to run up and down the pitch or track back during the game because it wouldn't happen lol, but when you needed that creativity and vision from midfield then there was none better than big Jan, the Scouse Dane.

I'm not a Liverpool supporter but what I don't get about Liverpool's 3rd goal in this game is why it is not considered, hands-down, greatest ever FA cup goal scored, and also the greatest team goal ever scored - it's even better than Carlos Alberto's goal for Brazil's in the 1970 world cup final. It's just an insanely incredible goal that's unfathomably underrated and not mentioned as much as it deserves.

We have been going to Feyenoord with the family for decades, but to see that in the seventies and eighties was something special: always admired football and the experience of football in the UK. It's a shame that it's all become so commercial now, but that's an understatement.

If you look at his celebration after scoring he’s repeating the words “I’ve done it” and when you hear everything he battled through to get to that point in his career you’ll understand why those words were so meaningful.

She got me tickets for 5 FA Cup Finals when I was living in London in the 80's and early 90's. What great times they were, seeing this great match and seeing Ian Wright blast one in the back of the net when he was playing for Crystal Palace. He had possession of the ball, there was no problem when the ball was given to him by Mountfield. He tried to play it down the line, he put it straight into Molby's path.
