holy crap the stuff at 7:00 is the kinda stuff i want to get into, i have a fairly long history in kungfu and muaythai and am wanting to develop my body and skills alot from just self defense. Those kicks as well as the use of more ground work (hardly ever see a tricker sweep) is so awesome.
Whats crazy is that i grew up with team loopkick( Hans W.,Jeremy Marinas, Chris Devera, J.R. Deguzman, Kim Do, Sesshomaru, etc.) as well, all of them were really big role models to me and my friends, I wouldnt be as successful a tricker if it wasnt for them....you guys are awsome as well and watching you guys helps me stay inspired to train
Missed you guys! It’s great to see my Martial Brothers back at it again!! I’m working on putting some Traditional Taekwondo style in my Martial Arts Tricking. Think if Andy and Shin Min Cheol did a Dragon Ball Fusion!!
@@saanvidutt1613 Lol. I posted this comment years ago as a joke but I guess it's a valid situation for many. There's plenty of content you can start off with on from UA-cam. Andy and I started out through online tutorials since there weren't really in person coaches for these things back then. We just keep practicing over and over and got better through trial and error. There's gonna be lots of falls so start with the very basics, don't skip steps, and practice at an open gym if possible (after COVID). You might meet some cool people to help you along the way.

Thank you for Motivating me even more to learn how to do tricks. I’m on the US tae kwon do national team and I have a UA-cam channel and I would like incorporate new tricks and moves to my channel while growing as a taekwondo fighter. I would like to thank you guys for all the contributions you have done over the years. I hope one day I get to meet you or we could film a video one time. Martial arts to the death of me!!!!
Although so cool, I’m too old for tricking. Body doesn’t move like it used to. I think I’ll stick to traditional martial arts, and I’m happy with that. That being said, you guys are awesome!
Loving your vids dudes. Another thing.. why's Andy le like the hardest combo to do on Tekken.. wow!.. seriously you guys are bring back the Sammi hung, Jackie Chan and yuen biao.. I miss those days. Dragons Forever!
Not gonna lie I don't trick but I do judo and wrestling, but I train for 12 hours a week with school on top of that and your determination to be better gives me the insperation to go to each and every practice with my all no matter how sore or tired I am
I'm a musician, aspiring to be a pilot. I'm still in school, 11th grade. I've also loved martial arts ever since I was a kid. These guys give me inspiration
We need to get Brian to do a full length Sampler and not one of those 1 minute long 'samplers' he puts out. Dude has mad skill. I want to bask in it for a good 3-4 minutes.
I tried doing tricking out in the snow, people gave me weird looks and my movements were stiff so i got embaressed and went back home. Next time i won't use it as an excuse, i'll go out and do what i want to do without giving a shit.
Can you guys occasionally make martial arts movie reviews? Maybe find obscure films and review them. Have you seen the film Breathing Fire? It's such a fun 80's martial arts film staring the Chinese kid from The Temple of Doom and Bolo Yueng is in it.
This was interesting. I've had a slight interest in tricking. I do bjj and Muay Thai Kickboxing, and I've been trying to do more spin kicks and trying to flip. I need to look up better techniques
I learned frontflip and back through internet and tips and i learned sideflip because i heard it was just basically handless cartwheels and since I was amazing at cartwheels I started using no hands and eventually I did it
Thanks guys for informations and encouragement for doing tricking Please, could you do a videos for tricking technique with levels, from basics to very hard techniques, with some tips that help to kearn them... 🙏
I want to start learn tricking, but I have some fear and lack of equipment, and maybe basic techniques, because when I want to do a 360 turn a lot of times I can't do it, or I land with open legs, or with one or two hands on floor, or sometimes when my foot or feet land I fall, I don't know why, I don't know if the problem is about spinning technique, or the jump, or speed, or just the dizziness after a lot of spins, but even the first spin I complete the 360 degree with some difficulty of control, I can't do a 540 spin, Please could you do tutorials to a very beginner person to explain the basics then the techniques for different levels 🙏
Yo I really like y'all brothers!.. y'all def bout y'all work!.. y'all stay very hype & enthused about training & I love that.. I train in Wing Chun now, but I'm on the real low novice type level.. I don't have anyone to train with & I'm still trying to get the si lam tao form down, by myself.. you tube videos ain't gonna do it for the long term.. I want to train with Sifu Phu Ngo of the Ngo Nac Dah system of Wing Chun, which is Wing Chun taught from a mathematic perception of energy.. me having Knowledge of Self & being a 5%er, that type of training is right up my alley... I will that hopefully one day soon I can train with them.. in the meantime, I'm on the east coast in the Philadelphia area... Do you guys know any credible Sifu's close by you could recommend to train with?.. I appreciate any feedback y'all!.. much love & keep doing what y'all do!.. I'll def be in tuned...Oh, one last thing: I love that vid y'all did of old school Ip Man & the Shaolin long fist vs. Lim Biks adapted or adaptive Wing Chun.. that vid was fucking awesome yo!.. keep up that real deal training y'all!.. hopefully, I'll be training right behind y'all soon enough... Peace!
Hello my name is james matthew layne and i want to learn kung fu it been one my biggest things in life to do and i want to know how do you get your leg up high when you do a high kick or a back hile kick
What do you think is the most optimal training for tricking specializing in kicks? Because I’m a pretty bulky guy with some chub and I want to get into tricking, mostly what I’m asking is how to become more lightweight
Andy Lee I want to know what is your skill of martial art... Is Shaolin kung fu or Wushu??? I'm confused about that... Sorry about my English I do not speak a good English
Is there anybody trying to make tricking practical for professional combat sports (kinda like how Marcus Aurelio proved you could kick ass with Capoeira in MMA)? A few of these moves I have been seeing on this channel aren't practical in the slightest, but most of them are, they just aren't utilized in a way in which would work in a real fight. From what I've seen, in a lot of ways tricking has combined Taekwondo and Capoeira that capitalizes on the strengths of both while minimizing their weaknesses as well (more diverse and mobile than Taekwondo, more energy efficient and less telegraphed than Capoeira). However none of this has been honed through full contact sparring against a resisting opponent. Which is a shame because I think it could work in MMA if trained for actual combat the same way Marcus Aurelio proved the efficacy of Capoeira.
Bad question. But back in the early days I was into parkour. I got pretty good at it. But fast forward 6 years, and I’m 100 pounds heavier (320,6’2.) should I still try tricking ?
T3dd3gramzNABox It's never too late to try. I'm 26 years old still learning. I started at 23. Just start real basic and train safe because you could get hurt if you try to get ahead of yourself.
Martial club makes Monday’s so much better

With all this awesome tricking in mind, I wonder what Martial Club's opinion on Taido and capoeira martial arts would be?
I tried doing tricking out in the snow, people gave me weird looks and my movements were stiff so i got embaressed and went back home. Next time i won't use it as an excuse, i'll go out and do what i want to do without giving a shit.
What a strong mindset i had a year ago, i'm going to do the same again this winter

Sorry, but where is your Wolf ki do video ??? I want to watch it again!
Andy you are my freaking muse
I don't even use kicks at all. I just use footwork to get into the right place with whatever weapon I have.
Too late for new years resolutions? By January 2019 I'll be able to do some badass tricks. Rn I can barely do a jump reverse hook kick
What's the update on that?
Pls
we realy martial boy👏👍
