Tricking is kind of unknown for most of people, do you think that Tricking can still grow up? I mean Tricking is super undervalued, Michael Guthrie is doing really hard things and he just have like 17k subscribers on YT, while people doing random stuffs which don't even need much effort have 1Million. The world needs to know the TRICKING, the passion that trickers put in it...it's just awesome and beautiful, plus the undervalued hard moves they do.
Well my english is not too good hope I could explain myself.
HAPPY TRICKING AND LOVE TO EVERYONE!

DaniKai need to market it to make it more relatable. Show someone a sampler and no one knows what the hell they're looking at. Gotta do something like the water bottle challenge with a cork lol

    • @DaniKai

Hmm that's true, when someone watch a sampler they have no idea what they're watching, maybe more slowmo things, idk

I've been tricking for about 1.5 years but I'm having a hard time improving, because cork is kind of off and on and I'm not improving as much as I want to. But this is really helpful so thanks and no matter what, the 540 will always be mine:)

4 months for a cork? I'm going to dedicate this year for cheat gainer. The thing is I don't have access to a gym so it will be only grass. I've checked out tutorials, it's like you need to stretch a lot and gain some muscle strenght before anything, and after that you can start learning fast, but I'm not at that point.

I just wanted to say that I am absolutely amazed by your channel. I discovered it really randomly yesterday evening, and I couldn't keep myself from watching your videos until 2 AM. Not only are you doing some of the most mindblowing tricks I've seen so far, also the whole content is super entertaining (usually I would skip through such videos to see the tricking parts, but with yours I just can't do that).
It blows my mind that you only have 5k subscribers, for the stuff you do you would deserve hundreds times more.

I get so notstalgic listing to this! I started tricking around 2003. Back then me and my friend thought we were doing "multi level moves" haha! that's what Joe Eigo called it, if anyone remembers that guy. Joe Eigo, Team Ryouko, Jujimufu, and Jaime Colon were huge inspirations to me when I started. I remember seeing your early vids aswell, I was so impressed by how quickly you progressed.

  • @SlobosReality

Been tricking for 2,5 years. Amazing how when I first started didn't ever think I would go further than a backflip, but now slowly working towards my dream moves, got a long way to go, still a begginer, but I will go.If anything teaches you how not to give up, maximizes your confindence and proves everything is possible, it's tricking. If anyone wants to start, just do it already, you'll be amazed by every simple move you learn will result in you craving for more, that's how you build it up. Sure there are shitty days and feeling miserable, because you can't land a cork anymore, so relatable. But it's part of the journey. With time you learn that this is a very important part of the journey aswell. I swear tricking is one of the best things that I ever started doing. Changed me in so many ways. I'm so fortunate to be a part of this amazing community. Brotherhood is legit in this one. It's so legit.

Damn I love hearing people's tricking stories and how they got started, it was cool hearing yours Kyle!
I started tricking in 2010 and due to school activities I only did back flips and butterfly kicks for like 3 years xD Then in 2013 I finally said fuck this and tried to kick it up and I focused more on tricking and I was able to progress a lot faster, but even now I just barely landed my first dub and I feel like my journey has been really long because I don't have a trampoline and I never went to the gym till just recently. And now it's closed so I have to find a new place to trick! 6 years in and moving slow AF lol

Hey can I ask you a question? How realistic is it for me to learn "basic" moves like cheat gainer, cork, btwist etc. I am 30 years old, and have a gymnast background so i can do front/backflip, twists in trampolines and stuff like that. But kicking into tricks feels really unnatural to me, and due to a previous ACL injury, I am a bit cautious on just attempting new tricks because I am unsure on how the outcome will be the first times. To you have any good advice on how to proceed, or do you know of anybody else who started tricking later in their life? It seems to me that most started in their teenage years and your learning potential is a bit bigger at that point.

Second year do the cork and my first landed cork in july 2014. 2015 improve corks and cartfull. I wasn't tricking because I didn't know that something like that exists :D. Anyway, I was always interested in acrobatics and parkour but never had a chance to practice. I was following Clarence Kennedy and Jujimufu because of the weights and one day thought that this "jumping part" was really cool. Recently they've built a proper gym near me so I got interested how to do some flips, and yeap, I'm trying to practice some flying, but it's not always easy while going to University, and having to pay to enter the gym :D and it's winter here now, so it's snowy and -10 Celcius degrees outside, no way that I could train on the grass :P

kyle, have you ever felt the pressure of not getting enough result compared to other trickers you see online?

In the beginning I would, but now I trick 100% for myself. I just do it because I enjoy it. I know I won't be the best tricker in the world, but I feel my place in tricking has a different purpose now. To grow tricking and inspire others.

I really like your videos, you should defo have more subs!
Ive been tricking for couple of years now.
My issue is that I had to move to a little town where literally noone tricks. Some people do gymnastics but all of them are proper dickheads...
I could get a few enthusiastic starters involved to trick but... you know it does not give me the proper push... i just feel like im teaching and explaining all the time...
what would you do to get more trickers involved?

I was the only tricker in my town for 7 years and then I just moved to a place where there are more trickers.

it's really hard to say, I've been in tae kwon do for 13 years and I've been on the demo team there for like 8 years at least, it wasn't till after I was on the demo team that I discovered what tricking is which was about 4-5 years ago. so maybe like 6ish years?

I literally only found out what tricking is a month ago, I can't even do a backflip. Someday I'd like to be able to do some of the stuff you were able to do when you were much younger than me.

I want to learn tricking soo badly actually for like years now but i can’t do a front flip or back flip and i fear that doing one of those incorrectly could hurt me badly and yep no tricking gyms around here. Can any1 suggest a good place (other than gyms) to learn tricking?
