She is upset because they did not properly tell her that she needed to bring her food already prepared. Uber Eats was a last-minute decision to have at least something in the competition. Then on top of that, they did not tell them that he had allergies. Regardless if she did uber that is something important that you need to know.

He was struggling cuz it was hot, the avocados were chopped on reasonably big pieces so it is easy to separate them from the rest of the food.

I don't know how much he is allergic but for me just a small contact with an avocado and I have to go straight to ER... Yup I'm allergic to avocados 🤷

I imagine his allergy isn't all that severe. For me, even the tiniest bit and I am vomiting violently. If I touch an avocado I get a rash. Having it mixed on the plate like that, I couldn't do it.

I absolutely LOVE how supportive the women were to one another instead of being catty like a reality tv show.
I also wish we had been able to see Bethany's salmon dish. Seems like production dropped the ball there. Overall, this is a great video and I hope it becomes a series.

Doesn’t the buzzfeed studio have the elaborate Tasty kitchen in it? At least they should have access to the staff kitchen. No idea why they had to cook the food far in advance and bring it with them.
Most likely liability reasons. I don’t know if you watch any of Ladylike but they mentioned how Tasty employees have to go through a safety training and sign an injury/death waiver to use the tasty kitchen. They most likely couldn’t get it all done in time for this one video. But I could be wrong 🤷🏾♀️

It’s a scheduling issue. Tasty kitchen is basically every buzzfeed kitchen, and buzzfeed has tens of channels and outlets constantly producing content for them. They didn’t even communicate allergies, do you think they prepared ahead of time to reserve the Tasty kitchen?

Me. I'm allergic to avocados. And Bananas, Kiwi, Mango, Dragonfruit, etc. I have food allergies out the a**.

If you make the tomato sauce for pasta bolognese from scratch like her, it's anything *but* a one trick pony. Making tomato sauce like that is a LOT of work, and developing those deliciously sweet, deep and concentrated garlic infused tomato flavors takes a fair amount of time. Usually, when I make bolognese sauce from scratch with San Marzano canned peeled whole tomatoes it takes at least 2 to 3 hours of slow simmering to develop the flavor profile I want 😊😀 Not to mention the fact that she served them a vegan version of pasta bolognese; and they didn't notice! That means she made one hell of a bolognese. The flavor profile most people expect when eating pasta bolognese is very, very difficult to nail when one cannot use the delicious caramelized savoury flavors that develop when frying the traditionally required ground beef. My hat's off to you, Alix! 👍👌👏👨🍳 Well done.
