Gautamiputra Satkarni is also known as *Shalivahan* in Maharashtra. He established his own calendar which is being followed to this date in Maharashtra, Karnataka and Telangana states. As per Shalivahan Shak the new year starts from Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, commonly known as Gudhipadva in Maharadhtra and Ugadi in Telangana - Karnataka. These three states still carry the legacy of Shalivahan or Gautamiputra Shatkarni, proudly in their calendar. Unfortunately, the younger generations are oblivious to this rich and great history of our king.

Shakas are defeated by Shatakarni, Shalivaahana shaka created by Shakas not Shatakarnis.

I like your work but I never expected you to make a blunder like this ....when you said he patronized all religions alike I.e Buddhism and brahminism ....its a serious flaw. All varnas were equally part of the sanatana dharma ....its not brahminism ...I never expected you to use such word ...are you reading this from some leftist textbook ?

I sincerely apologize for the mistake I made in my previous statement. I truly appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to clarify my position. It was never my intention to misrepresent the nuances of Sanatana Dharma, its diverse traditions, or the roles within the varnas. I understand now that referring to it as "Brahminism" was incorrect and oversimplified the rich and complex history. I assure you, I deeply value the authenticity and integrity of the subject, and I will certainly be more mindful in the future to avoid such oversights.
Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and I will take extra care to ensure that my understanding and expression remain accurate and respectful going forward.

Please get a better narrator.... The narration is too slow, pretentious and sounds like a forced foreign accent but with little clarity. The Sanskrit terminologies are pronounced in a wannabe mleccha accent. The schwa sounds i.e. a's are pronounced as ā's or ा .... Really takes out the immersion. Also what is with the deep slow pretentious voice? Please read normally with proper diction.
