"GTA character brought to life" is the best description I have heard about Fred.
Yup hahaha
You said you didn't know if this was rock, metal, or rap. The answer is "Yes!" They did a muti-band tour called "The Family Values Tour." Anything from that 1999 album is worth a listen. With Ben Stiller at the start of the video was actor Stephen Dorff - probably most well known for his role in the "Blade" movies (but he's been in a lot of movies!). Enjoyed this reaction. 🙂❤
This was filmed in Sept 2000. My favorites from this album are “The One” and “My Way.”
LB’s best hype song is “Break Stuff.” That’s one to blast when you’re fed up with the world.
100% break stuff gets frustration out every time
Also, according to Wikipedia, the video was shot on top of the WTC South Tower in September 2000. ❤
Wait til you see the cameos in the "Break stuff" video.
His name isn't Limp Bizkit, that's the bands name.
00:36 it's not an LA street. It's Greenwich Village, NYC
They spent 20 hours on top of the Twin Tower making this video.
bizkit was his dog and he was limping thats where the name comes from :P
yep, that was Ben Stiller, and there are a lot more Cameos to come in most of their video's... LB was a nice mixture of Rock and Rap...from late 90's and early 2000, yes that was the World Trade Center... many of their video's had cameo appearances from many stars from film, comedy, and music
Bro U gotta hear Nookie, my fav song by biz kit
Rap metal. massive 90s early 2000s
Haven't seen this video for so long. RIP WTC. Please do "Break Stuff." Yes, that was Ben Stiller and the other guy was another actor, Stephen Dorff.
I can't help but think of The Undertaker's "American Badass" biker character during the Attitude Era when I hear this song.
So awesome, love them from the start to ‘results may vary’ album 💿 also they inspired Australian band 28 days ‘rip it up’ and ‘sucker’ so without limp we wouldn’t have these other similar acts. Fred played last year and still had the same voice despite having grey hair all over now 😊
Do “pollution” or “stuck” that’s limp bizkit at their rawest
When I've had A Day... getting cut off in traffic, spam calls won't stop, deadlines shifting hourly, I'll crank up LB's "Break Stuff". Makes me feel so much better. :-D
^^^ YESSSSSSSS!!!!! And that one is FILLED with cameos
This was actually the last official granted filming of and on the World Trade Center right before 9/11
Hey Michael. Oh my I remember this limp bizkit song keep rollin it was also WWE legend Undertaker entrance 😎
Taker came to my mind as soon as seen the title lol
Stephen Dorff is the actor alongside Ben Stiller at the opening
My Way & The Truth the best for me.. song and music video(simple)
The other guy is the actor Stephen Dorff ...he Play in Blade :)
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hey bro ! You can reaction vidieo Tàu Anh Qua Núi - Thanh Điền Guitar please !
You can see they were on top the World Trade Center in 2000 and it was attacked in 2001
You should check out Invent Animate - The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was [Official Music Video] I dare you
I'm interested in what music you have spent your life listening to because the list of people you have never heard is very impressive ha ha.
Haha my favorite artists would be like Ed Sheeran Shawn Mendes maroon 5 type stuff!
@@michaelwduffy nice, and to be fair I bet you listen to popular people ive never heard of.
0:38 yah, I've lived in LA... And thats CLEARLY NYC. And if you don't believe me, just skip to 1:02 and see if you still think I'm wrong 🤣. Video was BEFORE 9/11!!! The TTs are still erect.
It was the last music video recorded with the twin towers before 9/11 and this is part of the genre nu metal
Not L.A. dude…New York. This was another turn in music for us. Fred Durst was everywhere. They are a mix group…rock rap/metal rap. This is before 9/11. Probably ‘99 or ‘00. We went from Rock, to Hair Bands, to Metallica & Nirvana exploding, rap was rising fast with the younger generation as well as the boy band crap. Limp Bizkit was trying to meld two genre’s rap & metal…those of us who come from the pure rock period…the band was ok…but didn’t speak well to us. Most of never transitioned to rap. For us, it ain’t music. When you grow up with Fleetwood Mac, Boston, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Journey, Rush, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Aerosmith, Van Halen, etc…and you got to see them all in concert for 25 bucks a show…you don’t waiver from real music aficionados. It’s all fake & crap now. We were blessed beyond our imaginations. Life was so amazing in the ‘70’s, ‘80’s & ‘90’s. It’s our duty to pass down this music…and help generations like you to understand how & why music was the center of our lives. Jeff Beck passing away was a huge deal for us. Top 5 of the greatest guitarists ever to live.
❤
this is nu metal
Other dude is Stephen Dorff
Me picturing undertaker’s aba entrance hearing this song hahahahah
Just because you're
so fascinated with Ben Stiller's cameo, the video for their song "Break Stuff" is near impossible to keep up with all the cameos in that video! It's got to be thee most cameo heavy music video I can think of. I'll predict you won't even know 100% of them! I'd love to see you try though! That would be fun!.(NO CHEATING AHEAD OF TIME!) 😄
Undertaker coming
I can picture him going down the ramp with his bike
It’s Nu Metal which is a genre that fuses other genres with metal and rock
"Rock , metal, or rap?" All three. Next.
🧏🇧🇷
The other guy in the car with Ben Stiller is Stephen Dorff who played Deacon Frost in the first Blade Movie and he was in other awesome movies like S.F.W.,the 80’’s horror classic The Gate, the awesome movie about South African Apartheid The Power of One,the awesome horror movie FeardotCom,and the awesome John Waters movie Cecil B. Demented
Not even their best song!!
Agreed and I even like the remix of this song better.
"Full Nelson"
Rage against the Machines was the prototype of this music style. Korn, Linkin Park or P.O.D. follow on the same path as Limp Bizkits did.
Why do you have a glass of mayo on your couch? 😅
That was actually on the world trade towers
You know I have to ask this question I have to ask I'm sorry I know I'm not the only one wondering I can't be how is you've never heard of limp Bizkit I mean come on this song was The undertaker's theme on the wrestling man back in the day how do you not know who he is this is crazy
This is called Nu metal.
The late 90s to early 2000s was a time when culture was breaking out of an overly conservative time where everything was very sanitized. So everything became over the top and larger than life. Sadly...we find ourselves in a bored and sanitized(ironically by the same side that was trying to break out in the 80s and 90s) time in culture again where everything is stale, formulaic, and walking on egg shells. History really does repeat itself. The only difference is that in the 80s and 90s, Conservatives were the establishment, now in this era liberals are the establishment and they're even worse.
I do feel bad for gen z because the culture they're growing up and creating is almost nonexistent. It's so bad that Hollywood has use nostalgia of the previous decades and songs that are unique are songs that sound like they came from other eras.
It nu metal
Its by-metal
I love your reaction videos but... how old are you? You don't know Limp Bizkit. We have a lot to teach you, young grasshopper. And we need you to get some more on the MJ train.
Haha I’m 25! And don’t worry more MJ def on the way love him so far!!
@@michaelwduffy Ohh no, you're a baby (I say this like I'm not only five years older).
It's always nice to see people living in a cave, you didn't even know the dude close to Ben Stiller, but hey, at least you know Ben Stiller, 👌 buy a TV mate
Absurd really
You missed the big points of a black points of a view. What if - you did some service and learnd something??
