    Fun fact though, this song was the undertakers theme song in WWF / WWE in 2001 / 2002. For WWF to use the song in the WWF game shut your mouth, Limp Bizkits front man Fred Durst only requested to be included into the game as a playable character to use the song in the game

    Love it...I still find my self saying "rollin, rollin, rollin, rollin..." when I'm driving. For even more fun, "Break Stuff" and "Nookie". Nu Metal was and still is my jam. Nu metal spawned bands like Limp Bizkit, Korn, Alien Ant Farm, Incubus. However it wasn't entirely new idea to combine rap and metal. Anthrax and Public Enemy joined forces in the 1980's on "Bring The Noise" but that drew more from metal on the rhytm than rap or hip hop. This takes the rhytm from hip hop and sound from metal.

    When Limp Bizkit broke into the Nu-Metal genre it was previously dominated by angsty goth kids and bands (i was one of em). They slapped a fresh coat of vibrant paint on it along with a spoiler, some spinner rims, and blacklight underglow. We *hated* them for it, but we also were bobbin our heads to their jams when no one else was looking.

    This band was an interesting phenomenon. When they hit the scene they were super popular and everyone was bumping their album. Then Fred Durst started catching a lot of flak and tons of people disowned Limp Bizkit. People who used to love them deny it to this day. Its hysterical.

    • @talkshow69
      @talkshow69 Рік тому +1

      Well the fact is that the band created controversy even from their debut album, but the songs were good. The first three albums were marred by what Durst did outside of the band especially live, including the Woodstock '99 and the Jessica Michalik issue, not to mention his issues with Borland. Really, Borland and Otto defined the sound of Limp Bizkit, and can be considered the backbone of the band. So yeah, people wouldn't want to call themselves a fan considering they'd be accused of condoning the shit the band was accused of.

The whole rap and hip hop infusion with metal was really popular in the late 90s and early 2000s, and actually became a sub-genre of its own called 'nu metal'. Saw Eminem and Limp Bizkit perform on the Anger Management Tour in '00. Limp Bizkit wasn't ever my favorite music but I have to admit that their live performance was pretty great.

    Re-arranged is a good video clip (and music from them), Chocolate Starfish sounded random, but it's the album's name. I think the genre is nu-metal.

    Wild story time. Years ago when this album first came out, it was all I listened to. One night a few of my friends and I were headed out for the night and this song was playing in my car. We started down the mountain and my tire blew and the car slung to the side and flipped. It rolled down the road probably, 4 times… this song was legit playing the whole time we were rolling down the hill… 😂 we all made it unharmed but, every single time that I hear this song I think of that wreck. 😂

      Yeah, that style was really popular in the early to mid 2000s… Limp Bizkit was definitely a product of their time. Kid Rock was the sameway, his song “Bawitdaba” was on the same level as this song

    I have been limping with Limp BIzkit since there Significant Other album came out which break stuff is from. I also went ahead and got the debut album from them, Three Dollar Bill, a great album and so is Significant other. I loved Chocolate Starfish and the Hotdog Flavored Water as well. This is a great song and video, fun reaction from you. Pretty cool how you got into it.

    I do understand your confusion at the start of the video where there was mention of Chocolate Starfish. The album this song is from is called Chocolate Starfish & Hot Dog Flavored Water
    Chocolate Starfish is a slang term for someones Booty hole for lack of a better word.
    Hot Dog flavored water is an inside joke with the band in regards to seeing a brands flavored waters and joking that they have a hot dog flavored version.

    I loved your reaction Miss Bisscute, for me one of the best seeing you dance with the choreography and smile was priceless, you looked so cute😍😍😍😍😍. Did you know that this song was used as the entrance theme by WWE wrestler Undertaker? For future reactions I suggest another Limp song: Behind Blue Eyes. Also if you want to continue dancing please react to Pet Shop Boys, song: Domino Dancing you will love the Latin vibe😊
