Though I was born around when this music was mainstream (2003), I wish I could’ve been born in 1983. Then I could be my current age when this music was mainstream. I’d be in line to get this album keep rollin
The outside night shots were filmed on top of the South Tower of the World Trade Center in 2000. They won the MTV Music Video Award for this video, presented to them on September 10, 2001.
Actually the awards aired live on September 6th 2001. They always used to air them on Thursday nights, So, LB received the award 5 days prior to the terrorist attacks. Still crazy! I'm just that annoying gal who wants every statement to be 100% factually-accurate:)
Never knew it was shot there. I remember watching the 9/11 attacks live on television at the beginning of my 9th-grade year. Can't imagine what was going through the minds of the people and first responders inside the buildings as well as the people that were on those flights.
yeah it's a complete sell out song for them... it's the "back to school of deftones".... except i don't think limp did it on purpose the way deftones did
That was actors Ben Stiller and Stephen Dorff at the start of the video. 🌟 Rearranged by Limp Bizkit 🌟 🌟 N2 Gether Now by Limp Bizkit 🌟 🌟 Nookie by Limp Bizkit 🌟 🌟 My Generation by Limp Bizkit 🌟 🌟 Living It Up by Limp Bizkit 🌟
I wish I partied to this music. I'm 23, been listening to Limp and a lot of other classic rock bands since I was like 8 lol. I partied to rap music in high school. I wish this was the music haha
Those dudes in the beginning look familiar because they are actor Stephen Dorff and actor/comedian Ben Stiller. This video was shot on top of one of the World Trade Center towers roughly a year before the 9/11 terrorist attack took them down.
Loving the MUDVAYNE shirt! Which is why you guys should be doing some HELLYEAH: "Stand up or walk away." Same singer from MUDVAYNE and drummer from PANTERA. Super group!
Every time I watch somebody react to this video I'm shocked they don't notice they're performing on the *World Trade Center* which no longer exists following *9/11☹️*
So was anyone else in middle school when the Chocolate Starfish album dropped and felt like such a badass because your parents let you listen to Limp Bizkit?
The Lounge Kittens did a cover and both bands were performing at Sonisphere festival in the UK and Fred Durst got them on the main stage before the biz kit set it was fire
I remember when this song came out in 2000. I was a teenager and thought it was so cool that they got to do their music video on top of the twin towers. And its crazy that 9/11 happened that next year. I remember learning the dance move for the chorus for Rollin. I practically always learned the dance moves to any of my fav songs. And you can imagine me dancing in front of the tv when they played this song on MTV TRL Total Request Live by host Carson Daly and my mother walking into the living room and seeing me doing this dance. She just let me for the most part growing up with my love for Limp Bisquit, Eminem, Linkin Park, Alice n Chains and so on. But I grew up in a nice Christian home in Alabama and have always had a close relationship with Jesus. But that didnt mean I didnt love to rock out. I even formed my own rock band and was lead singer and played guitar. I grew up on alot of good classic country music. And the 90s country was awesome as well. I also grew up on Southern Gospel. I have a wide range of love for many genre of music. Im glad my mother was so understanding. I think she was just glad that I never got into Marilyn Manson much. 😂 But i will say that Marilyn Mansons cover for tainted live was very cool and sexy. I much prefer his version than the original. Had I heard him do move covers singing like he did in that song, I provably would have listened to him more. If you have not checked that out or his song Beautiful People, I suggest you do. Even though I was not a big fan of his. But as for my love for Eminem, I remember being a huge fan from the start and seeing all the performances he did on live award shows. So many of us were so limited to access to seeing the stars whenever we wanted back then. Im an 80s baby and alot of my friends and I grew up without any internet access in our homes. I was 20 years old moved out and married in 2007 when I finally got internet and I was so in the dark. I khad heard of myspace and facwbook but didnt understand what it was. I was still living in the daek ages before social media. Lol! But thats actually the same case for alot of people from my era. Having computers/internet was a waist of money as far as our parents was comcerned. But its not like we had youtube back then. If we wanted to watch music videos, there was some of us lucky to have cable wnd be qble to watch MTV TRL and watch nusic videos or pop up video. We always tried to make sure to watch award shows to keep up with all the artists and what was going on. The first airing was uncenored. But then they would replay the award show maybe only one or two times and it would be censored and then the footgae was gone forever. So you can imagine how much I held onto the images and performances in my mind of all my favorite artists and when they performed because I thought Id never see it again. But then when I finally got the internet in 2007 and was introduced to youtube. I was like a kid in q candy store. I was rewatching qll of my favorite bands music videos ehen I wa sa kid and teenager. I was rewatching all of those epic performances and epic moments in history at award shows I saw on live television but had not seen in ages. Yall dont know how lucky yall are to have it all at your finger tips and just be able to watch music videos or movies or tv shows or listen to podcasts and music on Spotify now days. My ancient relic of a cell phone back when I was a young teen was a joke in comparison to what all phones can do now. But I will say that even though there has been several positive changes, Im not a fan of all the change. And I do think that kids exposed to social media so early in life is not a positive influence on them. I think me and my feiends were better off without having internet growing up. And we didnt txt one another or send emails. Cause some of didnt have a computer or a cell phone. We actually either walked or dropped by each others hoises ro visist and we also wrote hand written letters in cursive and put a stamp on it and sent it out to each other. I fact, a few of us still write letters ro one another occasionally. If my generation of Generation X or Generation Y, Millennials wanted to take over the world from the Gen Z. All we would need to do is write out a battle plan in cursive and our plans would remain safe, secret and secure for most of them. Im not even kidding! I cannot tell you how many hundreds of movie reactions Ive seen from this younger generation watching movies from my childhood or teen years or even before my time and they cannot read a simple note with two sentences in cursive. Even when they paise it they have no clue what it says! How is that possible? I remember in school our teachers making us write sentences over and over in cursive to improve our cursive writing and penmanship. And I sometimes write essays or notes about history etc in a notebook and my friends son was needing to work on a paper about something I had not long ago re-studied wnd wrote down information about it. And I rold him he was welcome to look at my notes. But when I gave it too him. He acted like it was written in another langauge because it was written in cursive. And it was not sloppy writing either. Ive always gotten complimented by teachers with my great penmanship and cursive writing. But even he coudlnt read it. And it just blew me away. I really hope that they start working with kids more on leaening to have good penmanship and write in cursive. Sure its challenging at first but with practice it gets so much easier and its faster to write in cursive than regular print. Also another thing I noitced is that teachers now days dont seem to stay in their same job long term. Alot of them quit within 5 years. A d some quit in 10 or 15 years. One woman quit when dhe had been tecahing for 20 years! She could have nust worked 5 more years and retired if she wanted. But back when I was a kid and when my mother was a kid, our teachers stayed in that tecahing job until they retired. Alot of my tecahers had been teaching for 35 or 40 years. Times have certainly changed. And not all of it for the better if you ask me.
There is a version they did called the Urban Assault version. They didn’t do a video but it included DMX, Method Man, and Redman. It’s sick you check it out! And this one was the theme song for the American Badass iteration of WWE’s Undertaker.
Y'all got me hooked on your channel by watching your progressive reactions to your boys Chester (RIP) and Mike and the rest of the guys in Linkin Park. I guess after Limp Bizkit you have to do Korn "Got the Life".
I had twin 15” Kicker Comp VRs on a 1k amp in my 1987 Chevy Astro van. Naturally, I rolled with the middle row bench pulled out. I fkn pounded Limp Bizkit and Hed (pe) and Static X! And a lot of 311 and ska-punk. But u know. 311 best band ever.
The rise of Nu-Metal.. This album was a fucking banger.... ppl like to joke on Limp Bizkit, but alot of bands mimicked their style and sound. And when they would drop a new single, it felt like the world stopped and everyone tuned in. The late 90's and early 2000's was an amazing time for music in the Nu-Metal scene.
I kept Rollin, Rollin, Rollin then I did it all for the Nookie. And afterwards I did a reaction to the studio version of Castles Made of Sand/Little Wing off of Tuck And Patti's Love Warrior. Then I was good.
It’s amazing how I’m much younger than these two, yet I literally ran into walls to this twenty fucking years ago. Lmao 😂 always great to see people’s minds blown by the kings of hype metal
This era of music was the most hype. No contest.
100%
And the concerts held up like a mfer.
Maybe with all music genres.
But the metal bands keeping metal alive mainly in the 90's, was PanterA.
Though I was born around when this music was mainstream (2003), I wish I could’ve been born in 1983. Then I could be my current age when this music was mainstream. I’d be in line to get this album keep rollin
THIS IS THE MUMBLE RAP OF METAL
The outside night shots were filmed on top of the South Tower of the World Trade Center in 2000. They won the MTV Music Video Award for this video, presented to them on September 10, 2001.
and the next day it was all gone
I never knew or heard this, that’s crazy
Actually the awards aired live on September 6th 2001. They always used to air them on Thursday nights, So, LB received the award 5 days prior to the terrorist attacks. Still crazy! I'm just that annoying gal who wants every statement to be 100% factually-accurate:)
@@Tattitude241 I think that last part was left as an exercise to the reader.
Never knew it was shot there. I remember watching the 9/11 attacks live on television at the beginning of my 9th-grade year. Can't imagine what was going through the minds of the people and first responders inside the buildings as well as the people that were on those flights.
I always remember The Undertaker on his American Badass Era , this was his theme song that time.
The song played in the beginning is Limp Bizkit 'My generation'. Its another cool song
'Nookie' & 'Break Stuff' are a must reaction for Limp Bizkit. This song was big purely because they were already established imo.
Yeah,...
Probably "Nookie".
these 2 songs oh yeah! and "Take a Look Around"
They were big pretty much right off the bat due to there connection with Korn.
yeah it's a complete sell out song for them... it's the "back to school of deftones".... except i don't think limp did it on purpose the way deftones did
That was actors Ben Stiller and Stephen Dorff at the start of the video.
🌟 Rearranged by Limp Bizkit 🌟
🌟 N2 Gether Now by Limp Bizkit 🌟
🌟 Nookie by Limp Bizkit 🌟
🌟 My Generation by Limp Bizkit 🌟
🌟 Living It Up by Limp Bizkit 🌟
That whole cd was a banger!
Under-rated af
Early 2000’s had it going on with the music! All of limp bizkit songs were bangers 🔥
I absolutely love limp Bizkit reminds me of my teenage years partying
I wish I partied to this music. I'm 23, been listening to Limp and a lot of other classic rock bands since I was like 8 lol. I partied to rap music in high school. I wish this was the music haha
This song will make you love 5 minutes of your life just when you needed it!
This song feels like it was released a few years ago, then you see the towers and realize how old it is.
RIP
More Limp Bizkit please!
Fire! Best concert ever!!! DMX, Godsmack, and Limp Bizkit. Best concert ever! ❤
I could not stop watching the five girls in the background..😍
Used to wait for this song to come on tv, it was such a massive hit.
Love your energy. This was the song of summer back when. I am surprised I can still remember all the words. Still gets me hyped.
Soory, typo... No matter how many times I've seen the video over the years I ALWAYS forget that it was filmed on tower 2 a month before 911.
Those dudes in the beginning look familiar because they are actor Stephen Dorff and actor/comedian Ben Stiller.
This video was shot on top of one of the World Trade Center towers roughly a year before the 9/11 terrorist attack took them down.
Always a GOOD ONE! Nice job guys!
Damn, S&M are putting out some hot ones today! First "Feel Good Inc" and now this! 🔥
one of my guilty pleasures :) out of all mainstream music back then.. this was easily my favorite band.
Loving the MUDVAYNE shirt! Which is why you guys should be doing some HELLYEAH: "Stand up or walk away." Same singer from MUDVAYNE and drummer from PANTERA. Super group!

Let's go to work !
Love to the squad from France 😉
Fact: Limpbizkit and WWF/WWE Undertaker got together and this song came one of the Undertakers entrance songs when he was the American Badass
It was always a party with this music.
