Dividends are a great thing, but they’re only really effective for passive income when you either have somewheres over 20 to 25 thousand shares of a high yielding stock. Meaning you likely need to have a few hundred thousand if not more invested in it. Re-investing dividends back into the same stock certainly does snowball with compound interest, but you only really start seeing it after 20 years of never stopping and likely needing to add additional money of your own with it….so it’ll be time consuming and costly. The way I see it if you have a million dollars at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50 to 70 thousand in dividend income

Hi @Akshat, I have a doubt regarding investing in dividend stocks vs FD. Could you please make a video around it ? I have seen this particular video many times. I have got the clarity on dividend paying stocks are good to have in portfolio as after 3-5 years of consistent investments they will create a good passive income. But when I am comparing the good candidates which should be included in the list, it is around 5-6% and that is what I can get from FD investments as well. The only pros is that if any of stock gets appreciation then my returns/passives would be at higher end. But there will also be a possibility of reverse too. So how different it is from an FD ? In one video, you have suggested that if we are not able to get 12.5% return that means we will be loosing our money globally (including inflation and global INR depreciation). So in this case, how should I approach towards dividend strategy. Please make a video on this. I am thinking on dividend investments from the moment I had gone through this video, started investing in few stocks after screening them but even after almost 10 days, I am still at a loss here on how to make a good investment strategy around it.
Bruh fd gives you shit returns like 5% that doesn't beat inflation If you buy companies with good moat and growth potential their stocks will grow and pay you dividends as well

How is interest earned on crypto FD taxed? I see that some people are saying it is not taxable till you sell. But that doesn't make much sense with this concept of FD. Here you are still gaining returns on top of capital appreciation.
Yes Sir, please make a video on USDT. sounds like an extension of crypto (but related to USD). More info from you will help gain knowledge on this. Please recreate crypto and USD through VAULD, if you find it suitable.
USDT is a stable coin with its value pegged to the dollar. You don't invest in USDT, its basically used when the markets are falling, you convert your coins to a stable coin, and buy other cryptos when markets are at lows. Don't spend your entire fortune to stake USDT at 12 pc its risky, read about what happend to US terra in the month of May this year.
I don't hold ITC or even buy any ITC products (ex. Sunfeast) for moral reasons. I don't want my money to be used making tobacco products. Being financially sound is fine but drawing some boundary is also important. This boundary can be different for different people.

Sell it off whenever you are trying to sell a stick that you have profited from. Atleast this way you'll be paying less tax on capital gain. The loss from IRFC will compensate the gains. But atleast you'll get something out of it. Other way around is to hold and expect that whenever the railways run at full capacity, it reaches the same level
Hey Akshat, Just a quick update. Not sure if you already know this but the FD percentage on Dot in Vauld isn't constant I believe. FD on Matic was 12.68% last month and now it's somewhere around 7%. Even for Dot, I think the offer is till 17th Apr. Correct me if I am wrong. BTW great content as always !
The interoperability issue in crypto world is a big question. There is a new player called LayerZero. According to them their novel architecture behaves like a true layerzero communication platform for omnichain communication in comparison to Polkadot or Cosmos. I hear people ask if this is the right time to invest, yes because the stock market have always and will always be a volatile market, that is why it is important to have proper research, analysis and strategy when investing
Great advice, i used to just watch youtube tutorials and videos, but still made losses when i traded on my own. luckily i came across and watched an interview on CNBC where the anchor kept mentioning "...Kathy Genelle Britton...". This prompted me to get in touch with her, her strategy and experience are what has made me so much profits these past months.
The best way to find that balance between saving and living is by investing. This way you get
to have your saving intact and then live comfortably off the revenue coming in from
your investments. Financial freedom is possible, you just need to know
what to do and when to do it. I am a living testimony.
To earn around Rs. 1,50,000 in dividends, (3%-5% dividend) you would need to have a portfolio of 5 to 6 cr invested in to the dividend stocks.
You are right, but look at Indian Oil dividend payout. If you have 15,000 shares that is an investment of say 15 lakhs, dividend is more than 1 lakhs, but this may be temporary phenomenon, because high dividend payout is due to pressure from government.
@@liklik8180 So the Indian Oil Dividend payout is not consistent? regular? is it a risk to invest in Indian Oil ?

Absolutely! Also, it's never been that easy and cost-efficient to actually invest. What a great time we are in!!
I have been on my toes watching the market like a hawk, it's quite risky for beginners to make a good fortune out of it.
Bruh fd gives you shit returns like 5% that doesn't beat inflation
If you buy companies with good moat and growth potential their stocks will grow and pay you dividends as well
Focus on growth, not dividends and once you have a huge portfolio like Akshat, then consider switching to bonds or dividend stocks or Reits.
Whatever reason could be,I love to have ITC in my fortfolio.
I follow 2 rules in the stock market:-
Rule 1: Never inves in penny stocks.
Rule 2: Never invest in government companies.
PS: It's just my POV, feel free to do whatever you like to do.
same here 3: never invest for high dividend yield
Why not to invest in government companies?
Stocks which give dividends:
1. ITC ( very stable compared to market, tobacco business)
2. Nmdc( goes cyclical , currently down)
3. Britania ( currently down)
One video on
Which stock for which month to get dividend for all year
Eg
Jan - abc stock gives dividend
Feb - xyz stock gives dividend..
And soo and soo
That would be helpful...

@Akshat - Can you make a dedicated video for crypto projects and consequently make seperate videos for each of the projects. I follow Coin Bureau but it's sometimes a little bit advanced. You doing that explanation will make it easy to understand and help us in taking decision. Thanks.
Akshat ji, can you make a video on buy and forget type etf for 20 year old students with a long term money appreciation perspective... thank you and love your content!
I recently started watching your videos and I like the way you explain things about investment. I would like to bring to your notice that the subtitles in your videos has lot of times different words as compared to what you are speaking..
2 years later I am watching this video and going back I can see your bet on ITC was 100% spot-on. Since then it grew 90%
Hey, Akshat you did not include the taxes by the government so effective returns would be 70% of the 12.68% returns on USDT, so effectively it would be 8.874% returns
What'sap for enlightenment tips and guide, I have a new cryptocurrency lnvestment plan!!!!.
Taxes will be applicable only when you sell usdt. So holding is better option as yearly tax is not applicable
Products like USDT and Cryptos are out of reach of Taxman. As per my understanding. Akshat also tells somtime
Yep, you're right. Currently, stocks are better than crypto
Even currently crypto is better.. even after 30 percent tax the gains are predominantly high
New knolwledge : like the term. Thanks for the brief sketch on Polka dot and USDT. It is new knowledge for me.
Progress they say shows when hard work is put into a venture. I was experiencing lapses in putting enough work into trading, and my job made it nearly impossible for me to earn. Until I came across Brian Harding, turned my life around, I'm so grateful.
Brian Harding is a well-renowned broker, but what marvels me about him is the fact that regardless of the huge profits he generates and the effort he puts in making these profits, his commission is very fair.
The stock market is one of the most potential places to invest your money, investing in stock is often risky which draws attention to the huge gains and losses of investors, if you can manage the risk then you can take advantage of the stock market to secure your financial position and earn money
What a coincidence!!! I trade with him also Brian Harding have been the reason behind my success in trading. Meeting this man has been a blessing, i never thought i would make so much profits in a short period of time

Hi Akshat, please make a detailed video on USDT for better understanding. Thanks!
Hi Akshat, if you could elaborate why USDT and not USDC. Grateful for your insight and keep making great content.
Stay away from usdt and go for usdc only. Usdt os owned by tether and they constantly fail to clear audit when it comes to mat h 1 real dollar to each usdt issued. Whereas usdc is from coinbase and they back each usdc issued with a real dollar.
Dividend investment is a patience game. One who understands earns and the one who doesn't pays.
Question on ITC dividends - You mentioned its a constant cash flow, however ITC does not regularly pay dividends per quarter/month/ etc. Till date since 2001 ITC has paid only 24 dividends. Can you help clear the confusion?
Itc or almost every company that pays dividend pays out twice yearly
Correct. That was misleading telling he earns divided income monthly.
@2:11 there are 3 ways to make money, 3rd way is company buys back shares. Need to see company’s balance sheet, mostly cash rich companies do it
Hi Akshat, could you please explain in detail about the USDT & Polkadot fixed deposits that you mentioned?
Thanks!
He meant the FD return is 12.58% in both coins. But the difference is USD is less volatile compared to Polkadot which gives the same return on FD. Polkadot's price could probably rise or fall.
I will upload a video soon bro. Don't worry atleast this may revive my dead channel :P. On a serious note check for anchor protocol it give 19.8 APY like this polkadot.
Iam just concerned about the taxation.. after 30% tax on the profit, it will significantly drop the returns to around 8%. And the 1% tds. 😅
Do we have to pay taxes on crypto's FD too?
@@saiswadesh1879 obviously yes.

Please make a video to explain PolkaDot - apart from the crypto angle the technical angle is also interesting.
How much should I invest in dividen stocks on monthly basis to target dividen income of around 50k/month
