I've been watching videos for weeks. I bought an extra USB-C cord. I'm gonna use the power cord and hook that to my ps5. Any idea how to turn off the echo/hear myself talking in my headset?
I had that exact same sound card you had. I also connected my PS5. The audio issue were the mic settings... Once you play around with it, you will also notice if you have on stream mix or not. It will take some tinkering but I'm sure you'll get your right mix, but it's not a hardware issue like I thought it was initially

It was difficult trying to figure out how to set it all up with an external capture card to the PS5, but Roland does have very good customer support and a lot of different setup variation guides on their website. That help a lot. I wish the internal capture card output at least 1080 120, but maybe in future generations. Overall a fantastic product to me personally

But, I have a ran the usb c to the usb 1 port Selected under Mic settings, USB headset (BRIDGECAST X-I) for Input Device. Select Output Device, then select "USB headset (BRIDGECAST X-I)" for Output Device. Output to headphones setting is now active. Select "Voice chat audio" for Output to headphones. Items under Information for the connected HDMI device are now active and sound is output to the HDMI. I’ve also went into the BRIDGE CAST app, ensure that the game sound is fed to the [HDMI] channel and the voice chat sound is fed to the [CONS/MOBI] channel, and adjusted their volumes accordingly. However, when I go to speak my mic isn’t picking up on the PlayStation 5 but it does in OBS. I can hear but, when I go into Warzone my squad can’t hear me and a mic is crucial. I’m trying to figure this out. I use an xlr mic that requires 48 phantom power. Xbox was easy to setup it’s on HDMI 2 ps5 is the only thing giving complications lol and it’s on HDMI 1.
Probably because it’s meant for streaming over recordings so it doesn’t need to be pushing out 120. Plus the pass through is still can do up to 240hz at 1080 so u can see it but it’s not like a stream would regardless. Doesn’t make sense to add more and increase cost just for recordings.

Great video! I am struggling with the fact that I can't separate out the tracks in OBS and still control the volumes with BridgeCast X. I had to set the BridgeCast X stream sound (mic) to not record, but heard in stream, and then separate the rest of the tracks to set those to record, not heard in stream. Also, I am now having an issue with the music audio sounding shaky or dropping through the BridgeCast X to stream in OBS 😢 There is very little on the internet about troubleshooting for this thing yet, so thank you for doing a video!
I asked questions through customer support and they were quick to respond. For me I didn't separate everything in OBS I just use different knobs. There is a video on UA-cam where a guy explains how to have separate sources in OBS, but its the Bridge cast. That should still work the same. Good luck 👍
So, my BC X only show mic on all tracks and i only hear myself in the headphone talking in my mic. Windows 11 out is BC X = system and windows in is BC X = mic wondering what i have wrong since i can't do any of these changes. I have connected it with the USB-C update it yet i have this play back loop with my mic i can't turn of. Really frustrating to deal with this product. Maybe i need to also plug in HDMI from my PC to the BC X?
I believe the answer is on the app itself. The 3 options on the app, I believe mic, stream, headphones? One needs to be muted. Sorry I haven't checked mine in so long, I forgot what I did.
@DJFUEGO334 USB type-C plugs into the front of PS5 and then into the back of bridge cast mobile/console make sure you switch the button on the bridge cast. After that switch the settings on your PS5 and should bring up bridge cast. So recap... I stream on PC and I have to monitors, because of that the Hdmi from my ps5 is plugged into the back of the bridge cast HDMI 1 and then for authentic usb from ps5 to the back of the bridge cast
How do you import more than 2 sounds? Whenever I import a sound, all other SFX pads get overwritten and play the same sound. If I make one option B, then I can import a different sound. But thats about it.
Honestly. Yes, I've only had it 2 days. And I'm still learning. I just wish there was better instructions and direction. I just finished hooking up my PS5. No more HD60S, no more audio extractor. Everything goes into the mixer. I'm loving it

@@haies09 I only had the mini. Maybe the bigger version had more options. The ability to control what I hear and my viewers hear is a game changer. The ability to have my own personal mix versus my streamer mix. I'm a Streamer, I can easily switch from PC to Ps5, and actually control my PS5 with my mixer. I'm using the free version, there is a paid version that will unlock a ton of stuff. Once again I'm only 2 days in, so I'm still adjusting.
@@Badboygamingfordads it just seems to be missing a lot of the big features of the big GoXLR. Things like the routing table, record samples on the fly and adjusting them, and stream deck integration. It does look good though 😊 GoXLR does have the ability for submixes also, just have to install the drivers for them 😊
@@haies09 yeah the routing table is gone. I don't like hearing myself. It's an upgrade for me since I had the mini. Might not be an upgrade for you since you have the bigger version. However, eventually and we don't know when, but the go xlr will stop receiving updates. It might still work and might not. I'm selling my mini, and bridge cast x was my choice.
Im currently using a 2 pc set up with the goxlr and the internal elgato 4k60 pro , is the capture card in roland as good ? and can i use my capture card instead ?

Short answer no. I sold my capture card and my hdmi converter when I bought the Bridge cast x. It truly is all in one. Is your mic XLR? And if you want to hear yourself use the line out on the back of the bridge cast x. I don't like to hear myself so I use phones and I adjusted what my stream hears versus me.
Yeah i got both mics xlr (one condenser and one dynamic when im not in studio) . Of i course i was talking about the roland bridge cast basic (i m not a big "gamer" but sometimes it could happen that i wanna put some game in my streams). Did you by chance have a problem with the bridges physical interface? I downloaded the newest firmware update and now none of the buttons work! This's the second Bridge X I've gotten! Both new!
@@Badboygamingfordads Yeah i only have one USB in my laptop and powers going through a wall adaptor. I get a brief light flash when turning the thing on. After that all I get is a flashing power button. Out of the box on firmware 0.00 everything seemed kosher.
@@BrandNameEntertainment firmware should be 3.06 its confusing. Hopefully you downloaded the updated version, which will have you unplug the USB download and than plug it in again

@jpg334 I'm think you have to change settings in Slobs. The Monitor only, Monitor and output etc... Sorry its hard to explain without a pc in front of me. Also in the last part of the video I explain the Windows settings. In your sound settings your line out playback listen to this device should be set to the monitor you want the sound to come from. I use a headset.

Are you able to still play games at 1080p 120hz and have it capture 1080p 60hz. I’ve been having issues with obs not detecting my console at 1080p 120hz. I have been trying to contact customer support for over a week and they haven’t responded yet.
Did you change the settings in Bridge cast x app to 4k. If I'm being honest I had the Elgato Hd60s so I was at 60hz I believe anyway. I have an email from someone at Roland who's very responsive if you need it?
@@Badboygamingfordads I did try to change the bridge cast x app settings. Every time I hit the usb out button it would switch from display thru and merged to default. The customer support did get back with me on April 4th saying that they would try to find a splitter to recommend because the bridge cast x would not send information to obs unless usb out button was pressed and the max fps it supported was 60hz. And they just got back with me on April 11th saying that they didn't find a splitter to recommend.

Cannot play game over 60Hz in any resolution while capturing or streaming. I bought it, tested it during 6 hours. A real pain so set it to work the firs time while the HDMI setting are set to "INTERNAL DEFAULT" and signal is not accepted by the monitor over. You must use USB-C cable to change settings. Also sounds are limited to 5 seconds. Last thing, while updating it sys to replug USB cables as they are already plugged. In fact you must unplug power to reboot the Bridge Cast X. Really decieved , very poor capture specifications, i sent it back.
Oh no I showed on stream my settings. And I was at 120Hz. I'm sorry, this video is old and I did a video right out the box. I sti use it with no problems. I have a connection to staff if you want it
There is a low frequency interference in the video. It literally hurt my ears when I tried watching the video. But, I just got my Roland Bridge Cast X and I wanted to watch your video to get some insight on setting it up. But, the low frequency interference was just unbearable. I’ll still give the video a thumbs up though to help the channel.
You’re welcome. I’m sure you just got yours as well and made the video using it. Since the video was uploaded 5 days ago. I’d figure I’d let you know about the low frequency sound. It’s one of those frequencies that not everybody can hear but, I heard it and my wife heard it when I watch the video. I had to pause the video and play it to see if it was the video, and after doing that it was in fact in the video. The instructions though aren’t very user friendly lol. I do wish the manual could be downloaded instead of having to rely on going to the website constantly.

Mine is plugged into my computer and I use a second cord for power(not needed). But I do not keep it on the entire time

It's amazing I have no problems. I sold my go XLR mini and El Gato HD60s on Ebay. Bridge cast x has only been out since February and it's all in one

Did you have any issues with drivers ? Windows 10 is not able to install them for me.
I'm using Windows 11, I uninstalled my drivers and then reinstalled. Try unplugging and plugging back in the mixer. Hope this helps

It’s capped at 60 whenever you use USB video output. You can read in the spec sheet. But it supports up to 240hz at 1080. 1440p 144hz for pass thru

But, I just got my Roland Bridge Cast X and I wanted to watch your video to get some insight on setting it up. But, the low frequency interference was just unbearable. I’ll still give the video a thumbs up though to help the channel.

You’re welcome. I’m sure you just got yours as well and made the video using it. Since the video was uploaded 5 days ago. I’d figure I’d let you know about the low frequency sound. It’s one of those frequencies that not everybody can hear but, I heard it and my wife heard it when I watch the video. I had to pause the video and play it to see if it was the video, and after doing that it was in fact in the video. The instructions though aren’t very user friendly lol. I do wish the manual could be downloaded instead of having to rely on going to the website constantly.

@@Badboygamingfordadsits called noise floor, lowering the db gain will lower the noise floor
