  • The Roland Bridgecast X was just released last month (February 2024). This is an all in one desktop dual-bus audio mixer. Perfect for streaming, gaming, creating content, and making music. #ROLAND works extremely well, the price I paid was $499, could vary depending on your location.
    There is not a lot of instructions on how to set up the mixer properly. I'm still trying to perfect mine. The only thing included in the box was the mixer, 2 usb type-C cords, registration card, and a pamphlet. *You have to buy a power adapter, unless you are plugging the mixer into your PC.
    This video is just my set up. You do not have to follow my set up. If you have a different set up, please let me know. The one thing I can't seem to figure out is me hearing my own voice as I use the microphone (not a game changer), but I will adjust to it.

      I've been watching videos for weeks. I bought an extra USB-C cord. I'm gonna use the power cord and hook that to my ps5. Any idea how to turn off the echo/hear myself talking in my headset?

      I had that exact same sound card you had. I also connected my PS5. The audio issue were the mic settings... Once you play around with it, you will also notice if you have on stream mix or not. It will take some tinkering but I'm sure you'll get your right mix, but it's not a hardware issue like I thought it was initially

    It was difficult trying to figure out how to set it all up with an external capture card to the PS5, but Roland does have very good customer support and a lot of different setup variation guides on their website. That help a lot. I wish the internal capture card output at least 1080 120, but maybe in future generations. Overall a fantastic product to me personally

      @@Badboygamingfordads i disconnected the elgato hd60 X only elgato capture card is in my pc. But, I have a ran the usb c to the usb 1 port Selected under Mic settings, USB headset (BRIDGECAST X-I) for Input Device.
      Select Output Device, then select "USB headset (BRIDGECAST X-I)" for Output Device.
      Output to headphones setting is now active.
      Select "Voice chat audio" for Output to headphones.
      Items under Information for the connected HDMI device are now active and sound is output to the HDMI. I’ve also went into the BRIDGE CAST app, ensure that the game sound is fed to the [HDMI] channel and the voice chat sound is fed to the [CONS/MOBI] channel, and adjusted their volumes accordingly. However, when I go to speak my mic isn’t picking up on the PlayStation 5 but it does in OBS. I can hear but, when I go into Warzone my squad can’t hear me and a mic is crucial. I’m trying to figure this out. I use an xlr mic that requires 48 phantom power. Xbox was easy to setup it’s on HDMI 2 ps5 is the only thing giving complications lol and it’s on HDMI 1.

    Great video! I am struggling with the fact that I can't separate out the tracks in OBS and still control the volumes with BridgeCast X. I had to set the BridgeCast X stream sound (mic) to not record, but heard in stream, and then separate the rest of the tracks to set those to record, not heard in stream.
    Also, I am now having an issue with the music audio sounding shaky or dropping through the BridgeCast X to stream in OBS 😢
    There is very little on the internet about troubleshooting for this thing yet, so thank you for doing a video!

    • @Badboygamingfordads
      @Badboygamingfordads  2 місяці тому

      I asked questions through customer support and they were quick to respond. For me I didn't separate everything in OBS I just use different knobs. There is a video on UA-cam where a guy explains how to have separate sources in OBS, but its the Bridge cast. That should still work the same. Good luck 👍

    Cannot play game over 60Hz in any resolution while capturing or streaming. I bought it, tested it during 6 hours. A real pain so set it to work the firs time while the HDMI setting are set to "INTERNAL DEFAULT" and signal is not accepted by the monitor over. You must use USB-C cable to change settings. Also sounds are limited to 5 seconds. Last thing, while updating it sys to replug USB cables as they are already plugged. In fact you must unplug power to reboot the Bridge Cast X. Really decieved , very poor capture specifications, i sent it back.
