Dude, fantastic tutorial. You have a great educational tone with easy to understand explanations. Feel like I'm armed and ready to smash after video #1, can't wait for the others. Thank you!
What a great explanation on Serum. Especially on 13:30: "When you have this much control..., you don't really don't need more than 2!" Nothing more to comment than just "A big thank you for this excellent U2bevid!".
Modulation of the in built effects, especially the distortion. I’ve used it to distort the analog bd sine wave table to make growly sounds. Big fan of your channel!
This would come very handy in my EDM and pop productions :D I really enjoy the endless variations you can do with this plugin and the simple, elegant layout.
I just moved over to Serum from Massive X so this is perfect! I’m also doing the rent to own thing on Splice, which is a great mechanism for getting plugins without having to drop a bunch of cash at once.
Here's a comment! I'd love more presets. Also: I think creating 70s/80s funk sounds (e.g. Zapp, Parliament) with Serum would be interesting. I feel like there's enough EDM / synthwave / etc. tutorials for Serum sounds as is.
Please do more of these! So clear and digestible :) Have you ever done any demos of Antares Autotune unlimited tools, by the way? such as Harmony Engine or Mutator?
Would it be possible to show how to use Serum macros in combination with Logic automation to make evolving sounds or to use the same patch/preset as change up in the different sections of a track?
