    David! I really like the way that you placed a pic of the fretted chords in these older lessons. The best part of learning music online is the ability to "pause" your teacher and your lesson without worry of frustration from either party, and take your time to make a closer look.

      right on - yeah, I need to do that more in the newer lessons - I do do it in some and have a close up or even sometimes do two camera work. I do usually have a close up of the chords in most lessons so u can see them up close. Thanks so much for your kind words and feedback - really appreciate that - u rock! So glad that u r enjoying the lessons - much more coming soon. Keep rocking and have a great day! Take care, and rock on! -David Taub, Next Level Guitar Inc. & EGI

      @@EpicGuitarInstruction sry to be a pest, but what cameras and editing software to you use? I am finally starting my UA-cam channel. (Atomic Jackson channel)
      Any recommendations? I just purchased an el cheapo 4k vlog video cam on amazon. the videos were good.

    • @EpicGuitarInstruction

      You really dont need super high end or expensive equipment to get going. I have been doing it a long time and have upgraded over the years - the two biggest things is make sure you have great lighting and great audio. For editing I have been an apple user for a long time so I use iMac computers and run Final Cut Pro editing software. But you can get rocking with some basic editing programs that often come on most computers like iMovie. And use a decent camera that will give you some nice HD picture - you really dont need 4K as you will just be sitting there playing guitar. Get good picture with good lighting and audio and you will be all set - oh yeah, and film good quality content. Enjoy the journey and rock on! -David Taub, Next Level Guitar Inc & EGI

    Hi, I really like this lesson. It's so detailed, and it's the best tutorial for this song I've found. I just am a bit confused by the X00033 and the X02033 part during the drum roll. I don't quite get the strumming pattern, Is it A) X00033: d, X02033: d/u, X00033: d, X02033: d/u, X00033: d, X02033: u or is it B) X00033: d, X02033: u/d, X00033: u X02033: d/u, X00033: d, X02033: u? or is it C) X00033: d, X02033: u, X00033: d, X02033: u, X00033: d, X02033: u? Hope I could get your help on this. I love this tutorial!

    • @EpicGuitarInstruction
      @EpicGuitarInstruction  5 років тому

      Hi - the Taylor I'm playing in this lesson is my favorite acoustic guitar. Its a Taylor GS5 - it has a cedar top and tropical American Mahogany back and sides - just a killer guitar. Keep up all that hard work on that guitar and keep having fun with it. Also, I recently released the first single from my new original band, MIND CELL, coming record. I'm really stoked about the project. Take a listen and let me know what you think, and perhaps if you can share the video with some friends whom u think may like the music that would be so awesome - here is the YT vid - ua-cam.com/video/i-gB97WVJdw/v-deo.html and here is the band FB page - facebook.com/mindcellband/. and the original strum pattern is > (DDD DUDU DD DUDU DD D-UUU DUDU) BUT to make it a bit more rock'n'roll on the acoustic cutaway i use this > (D-D U DUDD DUDU DD D-UUU DUDU) with emphasis on the pauses* sounds great on the electro-acoustic cutaway guitar :)
