ബാംഗ്ലൂർ നഗരത്തിന്റെ പഴയ കാല പ്രൗഢിയുടെ ഭാഗം ആയ റസ്റ്റോറന്റുകൾ ആണ് മക്ക കഫെയും ഫാനൂസ് റെസ്റ്റോറന്റും. സുബുവിന്‌ കുറെ ഏറെ ഓർമ്മകൾ ഉണ്ട് ഈ കടകളെ കുറിച്ച്. ആ കഥകളൊക്കെ കേട്ട് സമോസയും ചായയും കാട്ടി റോളും ഒക്കെ ആയി ഒരു ദിവസം കൂടി ബാംഗ്ലൂർ നഗരത്തിൽ.
Mostly people say that if you are food lover and if you are in Bangalore, you must visit Fanoos and Makkah Cafe in Bangalore. Both the shops were iconic food joints of Bangalore in 1990s. Though the shops have undergone changes, the number of people visiting the shop remains just the same. This is what my friend Subbu tells me. Fanoos serves Katti Rolls, Kebabs, juices and more, but in Makkah cafe it's all about snacks and tea.

Hi Ebin, i was a regular customer of Fanoos for Sheek Jumbo rolls during 1998 to 2001, the sheek roll was was excellent, the ingrediants was tripler than what they are giving now, there was a mixture of puthina and onion with some other things, which was a big meal when we take it in the night! That time it was a small kitchen and we do watch the cook making roti and kababs live, we do eat it on the road sitting on the bikes.

Fanoos beef roll 1998 കഴിച്ചതാണ്. 2006 ൽ വീണ്ടും Bangalore ഈ എത്തി settle ആയിട്ടും ഇതുവരെ പോയില്ല. ഇത് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ പോകാൻ തന്നെ തീരുമാനിച്ചു

Last year I'm visited Makkah Cafe and tasted tea & snacks 😊 really good, but I think you missed one thing .. The owners are Mallus (from Kannur) and they serving more than 35years the same menu. 😊
