No, it's a complicated retread of past episodes 😂

"I'm an eagle!" Needs to be a reoccurring joke jammed into what ever you can fit it in. That'll never not make me snicker.
Players drafted by Philadelphia’s football team be like
I randomly yell it and nobody understands the reference
Whenever I say that to my cousin at random or semi random occasions with that voice, he loses it. Can't stop laughing. That's so perfect.
@ I might have to show it to my parents so they laugh at the joke
I can't even comprehend how bad the gameplay of Morphman is. lol
This reminds me a lot of those Season Recaps that Nickelodeon used to do before a new season premiere where they rerun the old episodes with pop up facts.
It reminds me of the bonus feature on the DVD for Family Guy: Something, Something, Something, Dark Side.
Reminds me more of the MTV popup facts.
Reminds Me Of Ben 10's Marathon Back In The Late 2000's.
@reidsewing6436 I loved Ben 10. It had so much potential, but they keep messing it up.
"I want my medication" - an actual quote from batman
What I will always love about this channel is that they really mean it when they say "nobody's played". We all know the mainstream Worst Games (Superman 64, Big Rigs Racing, E.T., etc..), but stuff like Morphman? Obscured in darkness.
Kinda some of the episodes of AVGN. Episodes like Jekyll and Hyde the NES Game. It may be difficult to imagine now now but when AVGN reviewed that game it was probably the most recognition the game had and will ever recieve. It was just some obscure NES game no one really knew about until then.
Yeah. The only one of these games that I've seen on another channel was that Batman: Dark Tomorrow got a Wuh Happen? video.
@@linhero797 That was one of the first episodes I saw of AVGN back when I was a kid lol
Other then the Duke game these were like 90% obscure gold
I'm one of few people who played Batman and Robin and Superman The Man of Steel, and I only heard about CID the Dummy from Peanut Butter Gamer; even WatchMojo never mentioned it. But I've never played or heard of Morphman at all. The only other person who talked about Morphman was the channel Next Game, and even then the video was about its... SEQUEL??! Morphman 2 is a thing??
Shocker being surprisingly down to earth and reasonable in his application of the trolley dilemma. I guess I am shocked.
Ba dum tss
Honestly I'd watch the entire longplay of Morphman with the voice acting you guys provide.
*I'M AN EAGLE!*
Phix's death scream has now formed a permanent neural connection in my brain, thank you...
DOESN’T THIS LOOK FUN?
the "Im an EEagLE" got me dead. the morphman voice is absolutely great
You can never unhear it now.
Genuinely hope the Worst Games Ever series continues for years to come. Especially since they don't have to be experienced alone and the suffering isn't condensed into making one of my favorite UA-cam presenters go insane. Atleast with there being two guys there they can laugh at certain points instead of rage and give up alone.

You know it’s about to be rough when Morphman is a the bottom of the list 💀
Bottom of the list. top of the list would be number one at the end.
@@RocketRoosterFilms I forgot thanks
@@RocketRoosterFilms Even so, I think of bottom as worst, as in Bottom 10 worst, and you go from the top to work your way to the bottom of the barrel.
I think they're a lil too rough on ol' Spider-Man. Compared to Morphman, Sinister Six is a Godsend.
@@GreaserMan I guess they felt as they did because Morphman has only one "story" while Sinister Six has several "stories" and endings. Maybe Morphman also made them laught more?
To be fair, Phix's backcover never said fun for the whole family, just for the whole family. As nobody should beat that game alone.
Rewatching the Spider-Man: The Sinister Six episode, I realized something: Does J. Jonah Jameson factor _at all_ into the story? Because of all Spider-Man characters to not appear in a game where the whole plot deals with Mysterio pretending to be Spidey to ruin his reputation, JJJ, who's whole deal is already believing Spidey and other masked vigilantes are menaces to society, feels like a particularly glaring omission.
He gets mentioned in the original video I think
"Nobody played"? I wish. Hello, I am nobody. I actually played Batman Dark Tomorrow. It's been almost two decades, but I still remember how utterly dreadful it was. It's still the only game I've ever returned to the store. The coverart and screenshots on the back looked cool, ok?!
A friend of mine actually played it too. They thought the good ending was only unlocked by beating it without dying...
@@WhirlyBeepBoops Oh god have mercy on your friend. I feel his/her pain.
The comic adaptation was neat!
Learning that Batman & Robin came out after the movie really is an OOOOH now I get it moment. Prior to B&R's release WB thought they were going to have the biggest movie of the year on their hands. Batman forever was 1995's highest grossing movie and this was the sequel! How could anything go wrong? Spend spend spend. So, when the movie underperformed and was a critical disaster they probably pulled the plug on everything which is why this game was probably shunted out the door before it was finished but also seems to have had a mega budget simultaneously.
"Made by twelve, played by less" best line ever
Batman & Robin was an ambitious game from a development team that clearly bit off more than they could chew . . . and yes, it appears to have been released unfinished. Sadly, this was before online patches.
If you guys wanted to do a series covering some good games, I think the perfect title would be “Just Rad Games”
That actually sounds like a *sick* idea
If they ever do that they should first look at ny friend pedro the most underrated devolver digital game
They already have a series like that
@@thegamerlegoshi4320 OH MY GOD YES my friend pedro is criminally underrated
that already exists (the best ever series) is what you're looking for.
Batman and Robin is a good example of being overly ambitious instead of executing the fundamentals properly! Made a game far ahead of its time, yet so bad no one would draw inspiration from it!
It reminds me of Jurassic Park: Trespasser which came out the same year and was likewise rushed. It could boast of an advanced physics engine among other cool things, but actual gameplay was janky and crash-prone.
One of my favorites on the channel was the Spider-Man game. Everything looked so low budget that it was really fun to watch you tear it apart
spider man
spider maaaaaaaaaan

I actually remember having the game as a kid.
Watching the review made me realize why I couldn't recall the actual gameplay.
Ikr, this one also has some of my favorite writing and editing. So rewatchable and still so funny every time
@@poble I was going to reply with this if you hadn't. 👍
Shane's "Don't do that." from the Gundam video never fails to make me laugh.
This is why I love this channel though. Even their easy retread content is somehow more involved and high quality than it was originally.
Ah yes. Just Bad Games: The Movie: Director’s Cut. Absolutely awesome!
Seeing this made me realize that you guys rarely cover modern games. Not because modern games are better, just cause there's rarely a modern release that people don't know about.
I mean here they talk about games nobody played till the end. Because FlatOut 3? I remember everybody talking about how much of a steamy POS that game was. For anyone that was into car games in the 2000's, FlatOut 3 is famous. But yeah, most people never played it, or never played more than one level before returning the game (or deleting it from their eMule folder heh). Same for Batman & Robin, it's hard to find a reviewer of bad retro games that did not played it... but I know of none that actually beat the game. Most just play the first day and call it a day.
I think the issue with "modern" games is more that most modern bad games are just shallow, sad empty games like Popeye. Or not even as bad, just bland and empty, with the same issues than most games. It's not that they don't have plenty of modern games to talk about. It's just that it's not common to find a modern games with outstandingly bad features like Fast&Furious Crossroads (famous licence + famous studios working on it).
They did cover like one slightly more recent game, but that's about it I believe.
@@LeSarthoisLike at that point they could just find some free random games on Steam and review those.

The detail that went into the Batman & Robin game is genuinely so fascinating. I really like that you guys went in and made sure to mention all that. It seriously doesn't even look like a ps1 game. I hope those designers and artists went on to be successful somewhat.
Probe developed Forsaken before Acclaim closed them down in 2000. Before Probe's acquisition by Acclaim, David Perry left Probe for the United States to form Shiny Entertainment, pilfering several developers from the UK, including Probe's (namely Nick Bruty, who left Shiny after MDK's release to form Planet Moon Studios of Armed and Dangerous infamy) with him.
All is not lost however, Justin Heyes-Jones BSc, one of the lead developers on Batman and Robin for the PS1, went on to join Pygnosis to make Kingsley's Adventure, before he went to the United States, there he worked for Vicarious Visions on PS2 and Wii ports for Spider-Man 3, and then joined Kaos Studios to work on Homefront as well as aiding Vigil Games during Darkstalkers 2's development. He also spent time in Canada working for EA and Relic Entertainment as a Senior Programmer on a couple of NBA games and Warhammer 40k: Space Marine and Company of Heroes 3. Heyes-Jones still works in British Columbia, Canada in Fintech startup companies and other global ventures relating to (ugh) the Cloud Computing field.
David Shea, the game's project lead would form Coyote Developments Limited with other former Probe developers who didn't flee to North America and instead, chose to remain in Croydon, Greater London, they made a couple of mediocre games for Argonaut's floundering Publishing division and when Argonaut fell into administration, Coyote then found a new publisher in the form of Blitz Games, whose finances were also shaky as due to the Global Financial Crisis, Coyote collapsed in 2009, with Blitz Games (a company formed by the Oliver Twins of Dizzy the Egg fame, Codemasters' first major financial success) following them in 2013 as a consequence of the economic problems beset by the aforementioned recession. By that time, Shea went to Australia to work for Krome, who also went semi-dormant in the early-2010s due to their financial troubles, and despite re-forming in 2012 as a porting developer specialising in remastering games with updated HD textures for the PC, Shea didn't join them. As of 2024, he currently lives in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and composes music on his public Bandcamp account.
Harvey Gilpin, another main programmer, also remained in the UK for several years, eventually ending up at Lionhead for over 5 years, he even assisted in the development of the Forsaken remaster in 2018 and recently worked for The Creative Assembly on a couple of Total War games (specifically, Total War: Warhammer 3 and Total War: Pharoh). To date, he is still one of the few remaining engineering leads currently working at Creative Assembly with multiple years of experience after the mass layoffs in recent years.
Guy Mills, the game's main graphic artist, would later work on Split/Second for Black Rock Studio, after joining them at some point in 1999/2000 during their original incarnation as Climax Brighton, before ending up at Hangar 13's Brighton Branch, where he would work on Mafia: Definitive Edition. He's still based in Brighton, Sussex. However he has left Hangar 13 and by extension, Take-Two in early-2022.
Jeremy "Jez" Elford was one of the game's artists, and after a short stint at Bizarre Creations, working as an artist for Fur Fighters, he ended up at various studios, from Lost Toys LTD (formed by former Bullfrog developers), which closed down in 2003 due to money troubles and an inability to find a publisher to develop a Stunt Car game in association with Geoff Crammond, to Zoonami (a company formed by former Rare developer Martin Hollis) and Dundee-based Cohort Studios (who also closed down in 2011 due to financial problems). Elford left for Canada and currently works at HB Studios on the 2K PGA games. He is still based in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia as of 2024.
And these are just the more notable people who worked on this game. With a couple of them (Gilpin and Elford) developing Forsaken around the same time. It was more of an issue with deadline prerequisites and executive demands from Acclaim that led to Batman and Robin being stupidly broken on release than any poor-developer choice/memory restriction-related errors. Probe was a bloody good UK developer, it was merely a crying shame that they went out within 2-3 years of the tie-in game's release.
Memorable morphman quotes:
“Missed!”
“Bat! Another!”
“I’m an eagle!”
“Acts scared.”
You forgot "So, where's this castle?"
“Ha….double ha!”
I'm happy this video released today, because it made me realize that Morphman is basically just Morbius in the 90's, and the guy isn't limited to morph into a bat.
I'm glad you said "Its Morphin' time" because he says that in the game just before you do something awesome which leads to a neutron bomb detonating the sun which leads to a black hole swallowing reality itself.

The reason why it takes super long for an episode of just bad games is because they have to play though the entire game first to get footage and then they have to do explaining on everything that makes the game bad by finding every single reason
@@thegamerlegoshi4320 and the editing and writing is 👌
So it's essentially the deluxe edition boxset with exclusive new features? Gotcha.
Man, dark tomorrow really does feel like a stillborn Arkham game.
And I think I’m getting a bit of morphman’s logic. I think circle generally means something like “stay” and the arrow means… a jump, or upward movement, or just evasive maneuvers.
The voice acting you guys added to Morphman alone makes it infinitely more playable.

This series is the perfect inspiration for game development. Sometimes you need to see how badly things can go to get over your fear of failure. My only goal is to make something that won't end up on this series.

A game I recommend you guys make a "Just Bad" video on is 'Nerf Legends' (2021), the game itself is very buggy and poorly optimized, with terrible enemy combat and poorly made level design. Not to mention the god awful voice acting, and bad controls.
i can't explain it but this series gives me MASSIVE late 2000s G4TV vibes. like, back when people made tv shows about video games, but like actually good this time
I actually got Batman Dark Tomorrow for the Gamecube as a birthday gift. It was my first 3D game and I thought all 3D games were like that. I powered through it and found out that the game has 3 different endings. Years later I googled the game and found out it has a 4th ending that is broken and impossible to get as the developers didn't have enough time to put all the collectibles in, the last one in the sewer being unobtainable, so it is imposible to 100% the game. I finally had catharsis for the frustration I went through as a kid.
I always like these kinds of behind the scenes compilation videos. I'm rewatching some of my favorite video with new information and commentary. It's great! I look forward to more of these.
Also at the time of me writing this comment, there still isn't a single 100% walkthrough of Phix on UA-cam or possibly _the entire internet._ You guys somehow have the only footage of this game being fully completed, bonus stages and all. I implore you to somehow share your cursed knowledge. There's got to be someone else stuck with that game, trying to figure out how to get 100% completion. Plus, I'm sure at least 1 person would like to speedrun Phix.
I love your "just bad games" series. Thank you for adding new stuff cause I was debating watching it until I heard u say that.
I just want to take a moment to mention that the background music and sound effects in the Batman & Robin review are 100% top notch.
The Morphman voice over had me rolling in laughter, and the scream affect 😂👌
Take a drink every time you hear’ so, where’s this castle’ 🍻
Morphman Scream sound is as same as The Noise from Pizza Tower. Although the scream in Pizza tower is pitched

Something that I love about morphman is when he gets to the bad guys and said "Is morphin time!" And he morph all over the bad guys

You guys are the youtuber version of Skyrim. I keep getting excited rewatching your stuff with some changes sprinkled in XD
You should do the top 10 games nobody played but they’re good. Those games are underrated in a good way
So watching this it is amazing that you guys do animation, story telling, voice acting, and editing better than any of these professional studios that made these awful games. I love your channel.
Great video as always! Allow me, if I may, to point out an error.
In the Steel Harbinger extras, you mentioned the truck you can drive runs on gasoline. Semi trucks actually run on diesel fuel. I’ll probably get a lot of crap for pointing this out, but whatever.
Oh you're very very correct. In the real world they do run on Diesel. However both Duke Nukem Forever and Steel Harbinger hint at or outright say Gasoline.
The monster truck sequence in Duke Nukem Forever specifically says 'Out of Gas' at 3:13:05 and shows a Jerry Can that says 'Gas' on it right after.
At 3:13:14 in Steel Harbinger you can see the character pick up a Jerry Can that is mostly covered in red. Jerry Cans that carry Diesel have to say 'Diesel' on the side or be fully yellow, not red. The reason they do this is to prevent people mixing up fuel types.
I love you guys Made this complication unlike other complication. You guys check back again the gameplay and see what you guys missed as an Extra, and add a little detail about the gameplay Which is pretty cool try to make different complication.
The Director's Cut be like
You mean "compilation" I think, not complication - just FYI.
I'm a little sad Hercules for the N64 wasn't on this list but Batman and Robin definitely deserves to be number one

Just a crazy suggestion, but how about the Wii version of the 2008 reboot of ALONE IN THE DARK. So many people have bashed the game and all, but all of them are towards the Xbox 360/PC version, and no one brings up the Wii version which based on Metacritic is the worst version of the game.

Welp looks like they ain't playing it anytime soon, since it was taken off the steam store.
There are a bunch of games id love to see you guys cover later in this series. Some Titles that you might not have heard of before which I think will be fitting.
Legendary: An Fps with a cool concept of mythical beasts in a modern setting but held back by awful levels and combat along with some really odd design ideas.
Daymare 1998: This janky rip off of resident evil 2 could have been a wonderful homage. Sadly the game has some really big problems. Movement is painfully slow even for a horror title. The story is a mess with lots of dumb, hateable characters along with an overuse of swearing to the point it almost feels like a parody. Voice acting is bad and not in the fun charming sort of way of the old re games. Everyone sounds board and like they would rather be anywhere else. On top of that there were a million bugs and I even got soft locked 8 hours in.
Hunt Down the freeman: Everyone has already made a video on this one but I feel your style and editing would allow for a fresh take on it.
Major Minor: A Visual Novel staring anthro characters. Whilst that might sound cute the writing is awful. Plus the technical side is so funny. Backgrounds are just blurry pictures, Every character uses the same sound effect for there voice, characters only have 1 still so they can be talking about something traumatic with a silly smile on there face. The music might sound fine at first but will become annoying by the half way point. Whilst the game is now free I previously payed 15 quid for it.
Legendary’s not that bad, come on. Daymare is definitely dumb… HDTF has been run into the ground, and it’s actually okay right now. Would’ve been wonderful for back then though.
I just looked at the reviews, and you know it's bad when even a furry says that this is awful.
@@jumperk5627 There’s this one furry dating sim that I forgot the name of, but it’s SOO much better than Major Minor.
@@jumperk5627 For me as a massive furry I can say without problem Major minor is in my top three worst games of all time. I went in with the expectation of cute anthro characters and a fun/emotional story. What I got was a technical mess with the worst written story I've ever seen in any video game. Good luck trying to make any sense of it as it's all over the place.
I absolutely love this channel the comedy is truly funny and I always look forward to seeing a new video in the just bad games type they make my week better I usually watch the videos multiple times I also find the videos are strangely relaxing and put them on and watch until I fall asleep but please don’t take that as a insult keep up the great work guys
I love this series. The Worst Ever series is what got me to subscribe but, this has become my new favorite on the channel. I love seeing these games, some of which I've never heard of, with a comedic but also critical review. I hope to see many more entries. Thank you for the great videos.
This is amazing!
I love those longs videos, because it means more content of Rerez!
Can we appreciate the effort that goes into all these videos? Not only do these guys have to play a terrible video game for hours on end, the editing is always crispy af👌
Best UA-camr Gaming Duo ever! Keep up the good work, Shane and Shane’s friend I still somehow haven’t learned the name of despite rewatching these episodes whenever I’m bored and need a good laugh. 😅
Adam...his name is Adam...lol.
@@mistermann3225 Good to know! Thanks, bruh. 😊
I really love this, not just I rewatch all the you guys previous review (and realize how entertaining they are) but more update about the games.
This series prolly one of my favorite game review series in recent year. Keep up a good work guys!
Thank you for making this and all the other episodes!
The Batman episodes were my favorites. Specifically because the comedic impersonation you all do that, when combined with the bizarre gameplay features, make for a hilarious outcome!
I love the fact that most of my favorite episodes of Just bad Games made it onto this list! I watch the Spider Man and Batman and Robin episodes pretty much every month! What an absolutely delightful video
16:56 Google Translate told you wrong. That sign does say "Danger High Voltage", but not in Mongolian. It's actually in English, just transliterated into Cyrillic, with Ч (ch) in place of the H's in "high". In Mongolian it would be "Аюул: өндөр хүчдэл".
I can't tell you how much I love these episodes, I look forward to it every time you guys release one!
Was wondering yesterday when you'd upload again. You guys always deliver!
"making a list of bad games that everyone and their grandma knows, thats easy"
"were gonna list the worst games weve played that NOBODY else has"
*>adds flatout 3 to the list as if its not known as the worst rated steam game of all time*
It’s just that bad.
@@brawler5760 its pretty good imo
The Flatout 3 devs made tons of crappy games using the same engine, so if anything, technically, it was possible to get functional equivalent of Flatout 3 but in a game actually nobody heard about.
@@KasumiRINA honestly by my standards id end up liking a good chunk of those
@@Spacething7474 makes sense, a friend loved Cyberpunk 2077 despite final boss striking a T-pose for entire fight. XD
And well, Team6 is kinda legendary for a small obscure dev doing it on their own before indie gaming was a big thing. There's some interesting info on their stuff on UA-cam.
A similar dev with slightly more polished products was Davilex, if you're into just bad racing games they've got a library. Some hard to run on modern PCs.
Other devs to look into are k-TecH and Eutechnyx... The latter did some decent stuff like C3 Racing on PS1, Street Racing Syndicate and Le Mans game but also Ride to Hell and licensed disasters like 007 Racing and Fast & Furious game...
Now I need to go back trying to make wrestling game videos in rare moments 2K games don't crash or make my PC turn off by itself... I guess Mass Effect being my fav franchise made me a gaming masochist midway through the third game and by WWE 2k20 I just stopped caring and found Zen.
This is a great idea. I would actually love to see you rank the rest of the games featured in your episodes, though just with a typical countdown style instead of playing all the episodes. And then for future episodes, you could list their rank (and list the games they’d fit in between to prevent confusion) in the description or a pinned comment.
This is one of the only videos of this length that I've sat through in it's entirety. That alone deserves a like and subscribe from me.
This is a treat! 4/ almsot 5 hours video?!
You guys are the best
i love watching your videos at my break time from work, keep up the good work!
I know what I'll be binging later... I already binge this channel anyway, so why not?
This channel is horribly underrated it deserves over 5 million subs
Why is the most entraining video serie on UA-cam getting so little views ? The amount of work going into each video must be astronomical. Everything is so well done ! From the editing, the writing, the jokes and little animations.
It's because they don't upload enough. I think Shane gets these videos in around his day job or something. If he were to go full UA-camr, hire a staff and put out great videos like this every week, his channel would skyrocket...
@@mistermann3225 Channel skyrockets, but so would his income, except it would go down because YT can be rather... Interesting with how they pay creators
@@ZenoDLC exactly. Dude probably makes six figures or more with his day job. Even with a high level UA-cam channel, he would probably be taking a pay cut...
You ever click on a video without looking at the timestamp?
I thought it was a simple top 10 list!
Wait. Why did one of the moments where Morphman asks "So, where's this castle?" did not sound like it came from the radio?
Editing error
Alright, boys. I'm gonna need more of these Pop-Up Video style compilations from y'all stat.
My favorite channel on UA-cam! I always look forward the content
A top 10 featureing 2 favorite bad game reviews? Sign me up! Nice yo have all these classic reviews in one video :3
By far the best compilation/reimagined ever. Thanks rerez!
Blues Clues with Batman is one of the best things you guys have put together. Each and every time I watch it, I'm laughing uncontrollably!
Wow. Thanks for the upload. I've got another awesome longform video to watch from another great channel
This is good stuff my dudes, a perfect compilation, you guys are legends.
