I can see my biggest complaint from the opening sequence. Blowback 9mms are unbelievably reliable... but it takes a heavy bolt to use a blow-back with 9mm. That's why we don't see decent 9mm handguns that are blowback operated. I had the Beretta CX4 Storm, which is also a blow-back 9mm. The advantage of the Storm over the PMX is that it took Beretta 92 mags, and with extensions those can be brought up to nearly 30 rounds, and are still easy to find off-the-shelf. The downside of the Storm for me was that I had it suppressed, and blowback puts more crap out of the breach. Also, I was tired of the recoil, which was not bad at all, but it was bad _FOR A 9MM._ I went to a Sig MPX with its short-stroke piston and it solved both issues: less recoil, and less crap out of the breach. It's also stupidly expensive, though, and the other issue is that it's made by Sig. Beretta seems to have generally better products _AND_ customer-support. Side-note: I'm excited for if/when the Beretta NARP comes to civilian sales in the US.
The PMX is absolutely awesome!!! I see many folks complaining about recoil, the PMX is sooo soft shooting its ridiculous... Its crazy accurate 25, 50, 100 yds tight groups every time. It is super reliable, no issues whatsoever... My only complaint is once you start shooting it, you don't want to stop....
@@BeyondSeclusionA friend of mine who was a PJ called it his “lethal sewing machine”, he loves it. I called him up to see what he thought before I purchased it but after watching your video, can’t thank you enough for steering me in this direction.
I had a CX Storm for awhile, lots of fun, never had an issue... sold it and bought an AR pistol.. I still like the idea of a PCC, if only I could find the Ruger that takes the same mags as my SR40 (I should have bought one when they came out, but I figured "they will always be available" LOL I never learn) ;)
I like Beretta, it looks cool, but it's just a tube init. Why companies are sleeping on implementation of delayed blowback is beyond me. You get lighter recoil and overall lighter weapon.Ar-9 is more modular with familiar controls at same price or cheaper. Hard to justify these PCCs other than they look cool.
@@DonJohn-h8l beretta acquired the rights so they could replace their aging pcc. So this had the similar manual of arms etc. that’s the only reason it came to market. The only thing I like about the pmx over an ar9 type is that it doesn’t require a buffer tube, So it really can be compact. My banshee is dope, but the pmx is just a fun gun that shares my b&t spc9 mags and it complete my arx sbr and apx 😆
**With the glut of 9 mm PCCs out there, this doesn't seem that great to me! **Now if they made it in 10 mm or 45 ACP that would narrow down the field quite a bit. **I think I would prefer the C4 storm in 45 ACP and if they made it to take Glock magazines that would be even better. **And if there was a conversion to change it to 460 Rowland then it could be a hunting/Large animal defense weapon as well. ** And a 10 mm version will be awesome too also preferably with readily available and inexpensive Glock mags.
I believe that your groups would improve if you chose targets that are best for the sights. I have found the best accuracy with red dot sites to be a black background, and a paper plate with a red sticker in the middle. Shalom

Recoil? It has none! What are they talking about?

@@UA-cam_can_ESADso this, or a Stribog sp9a3s?
You are the man bro, I swear if snopes is overruled, I’m gonna buy that for my brother in California….. thanks man happy thanksgiving, good price
Great video. Thank you for your honesty. No manual ? that sucks. 200 off hand...you be the man.
Got my $150 rebate check last week. Added an A3 brace, waiting for AAC Ti-rant45 M cans to get back in stock.
Tech-9 has been reborn 😂😅
Cool tool...especially at that rebated price...and the Beretta name/reputation.

8:31 considering getting one but I don’t know where to get adapter for brace 😅
I have one and just ended up buying the picatinny adapter from Beretta’s website. Sucks that it costs so much considering it’s plastic
Definitely a sleeper hit in my collection.
If you zeroed at 50 youre holding at the head to hit the body at 100 yards. How high do you have to hold at 200?
I was aiming more center mass at 100 depending on the wt of the bullet. 115 gr at 200 I was about a 2' above the head.
what brace did u have opn it
Stribog or this Beretta? Thoughts?
Beretta man, no question about it.
I won't get a Stribog, NEVER...Beretta all the way!
Neither. Get the HK version. It comes in various calibers.
@BeyondSeclusion why?
@@davelpz3340Thank you Dave, appreciate it man.
I got mine from PSA in the camo pattern for $700. It’s a sweet piece with a good brace.
I'll take the EXTAR EP9. 😋
Does the 147gr stay subsonic?
You heard it, what do you think? It seemed to to me but my hearing is not so good. To me, ABSOLUTELY
@ It’s hard to tell just listening to it online. I’m looking to buy one and suppressing it due to my hearing not being too good. Thanks for the info.
Where is this deal at?

Because a giant 9mm pistol has so much recoil

@@gutblaster187 Why would I want more recoil? I have shot 9mm PCCs with more recoil than my ARs. That's stupid.
This or a CZ Scorpion and why?
Is it a 92 trigger group?
Good question, not sure
Does Beretta make it in 10mm?
after watching, just order a tiger striped version from local dealer... be here monday
For $499 I would go with the Extar TP9 which both Honest Otlaw and Scootch00 speak highly off and it takes GLOCK mags it is a no brainer
I reviewed the Extar and I would strongly disagree!
I miss my Storm, I wish they had just revisited that
Yawn, next
I want one so bad!!!!
Is that a SIG stock?
Brace, yes
I have a buddy who's interested in this PMX
Nice tec 9
Gun is tube lol like old grease gun smg
I love it!!

$500 gun
Mags are $55. No thanks.
The Koreans make fantastic ones, kci, better than the b&t and they are in the 20$👍
@ Which magazine model is it specifically? I look them up, I can’t find which model mag is compatible with the PMX.
Name brand glock mags are how much ? Atleast these don't look stupid af.
