Well we beat LSU but haven't beat Alabama ,Florida ,Georgia . On the road in years. Shit the bed against Missouri and South Carolina and Bearly beat Pitt on the road which was an average team. I pray we put it together but honestly we get Rattled in the road and have a habit of making the other teams QB and receivers look like hiesman winners.

From what I have noticed , Nico can get a bit intimidated by the crowd , and those times have made some decisions that can turn into a catastrophe, this guy has learned to adapt and recover very quickly from those situations , it’s like he reads the environment to have control over the place and I like that !
Tennessee starts games fast.
Before watching I think what we need from Nico to win is
300 total yards
3+ TDs
20/30 or better
50%+ balls that travel 20+ yards in the air
At least 2 completions of 20+ yard passes
No more than 1 turnover
If he can do that and the defense does what everyone thinks they’re capable of doing they should have no problem wining this game. If he’s not able to do that it’ll be a dog fight and I’m not sure we can pull one of those out on the road. Although I’d love to be proven wrong

I think Nico will get it done however, not through the air in the beginning.......This will open the running game, he will finish with 92 yards on the ground. He will then connect touches with his receivers, in particular both McCoy & Thorten will have a field day. Everyone seems to underestimate Tennessee's ability to get it done differently, Coach Heupel has been waiting for a game like this just like NCST game. Nico finished on his rushing yards of 64 yards on the ground alone. I know Oklahoma is stronger on defense but, did you really think Coach Heupel would turn Dylan Sampson to get the running game started? This is Oklahoma's mindset already: We need to stop thier big time running back? You see Coach Heupel has changed accodingly how his opponents see it, this college football mind has so many wheels turning in his head, most of us would have a splitting headache. Even if we beat Oklahoma big, there is still some that will say: Tennessee still has not played a team that will test them,really?! The excuses will be a mile long with injuries on Oklahoma's team to, they were just not ready, really? Welcome to the SEC, I dont need to predict the score because I don't talk trash and we will see what everyone says after the game. a good sport gives his opponent 100%. "taking it easy" on someone is literally demeaning. Now I do think it is okay to play backups letting them get exp and keeping the starters healthy.
I believe the bigger question is how is OU going to score against TN defense. This will be a fun game to watch the first half but TN will start pulling away in the second. I believe they have a change to run away with it by 2nd quarter.
People forget that Nico played against a pretty good defense in the bowl against Iowa last year and Tennessee sliced them up like carving thanksgiving turkey.
