Blessed advice, thank you for sharing, and may the Grace of God help us in this warfare.
On a different note, the icon of the Theotokos ( Mother of God ) at 2:40, though it is executed in a Byzantine style, appears not to be canonical. When holding Jesus, the Theotokos should be pointing to Christ with her hand and not drawing attention to her self, as depicted here, by making a gesture. The Theotokos does not need to make a gesture for silence, as she is the silent witness of her Son’s life on earth. Iconography is Theology, and what appears as a simple gesture, introduces new nuances that have not been checked with Holy Tradition and Biblical truth. Thank you.

Are there any teachings from saints or priests on feelings of regret? All things are from the Lord so should I be regretful? Implying my judgement is greater than God's? Or are we to be like David and weep over our sins?
    Love the videos thank you

Any feeling should not overwhelm you, if it does it is not from God but from the devil. Have no regrets that hold you captive. Freedom is from God, captivation is of the devil. If there is something you've done in the past, just repent and confess it. From then on, it should not be in your focus, because you have already been delivered from our Lord. What is in the past, cannot change and so why dwell more in it since you already repented and confessed it? If you haven't already done so, you need to do it and stop overthinking sin or regret.

Can you please provide a full citation for this passage (book, edition, page number, text title, translator, etc)? I cannot find this anywhere.

@@holyresurrectionofchrist I own that book and have it in front of me. Which of St. Mark's texts is this? There is more than one in Volume 1. Also, is this the GEH Palmer-Met. Kalistos Ware edition of the Philokalia? St. Theophan's? Greek edition? French edition? something else?

      "On the Spiritual Law" reads:
      9. The mouth of a humble man speaks the truth; but he who speaks against the truth is like the servant who struck the Lord on the face (cf Mark 14:65).
      10. Do not become a disciple of one who praises himself, in case you learn pride instead of humility.
      11. Do not grow conceited about your interpretations of Scripture, lest your intellect fall victim to blasphemy.

"On Those Who Think They are Made Righteous by Works" reads:
      9. Afflictions that come to us are the result of our own sins. But if we accept them patiently through prayer, we shall again find blessings,
      10. Some people when praised for their virtue are delighted, and attribute this pleasurable feeling of self-esteem to grace. Others when reproved for their sins are pained, and they mistake this beneficial pain for the action of sin.
      11. Those who, because of the rigor of their own ascetic practice, despise the less zealous, think that they are made righteous by physical works. But we are even more foolish if we rely on theoretical knowledge and disparage the ignorant.
