Between 22 and 23 I wanted to say the Jesus prayer for an half an hour but I was very afraid that I would have an existential crisis or panic attack and I did not went through with it because of cowardice
Jesus prayer for 30 minutes is a good and normal thing that laypeople can do. Don't worry. I would recommend praying it orally as a beginner though. "No matter who it is, no one has ever fallen into demonic delusion (prelest) by praying the Jesus prayer orally." - Saint Ambrose
@@IN-pr3lwi dont think im at the level to do the Jesus Prayer for 30 minutes, how can i build up to it? i dont want to force it because ive done it before and it makes me think of the spiritual life as a chore, rather than time to grow closer to Christ.

I remember me and my uncle when we were 15 and 16 went swimming in the lake, we swam to the other side of the lake where on the shore many people surrounded a man laying on the ground, they were doing CPR until the ambulance arrived, the man was swimming and had a heart attack. I remember the police arriving, taking his old phone and calling some of his relatives to announce the sad news, he was around 45, you never know when it is your time, that man definitely had plans for the evening...
