@@overlandaf_adventures472 quite a lot when you watch the first time it’s as if you are running with the shots but not really taking it in. Like the deer on the other side of the lake. 👍🙏
Love the roof tent! It’s one of our favorite ways to camp when we are in Africa. The nature was beautiful. Love s good forest and explore. Your keep is pretty sweet! Thanks for sharing!
Nice to know you make sure the site is left behind better than you found it. Getting eaten alive, but you have found a lovely spot by the lake. Great video 🌈🙏👍
first off, that whole jeep set up is sick...but the music made it all worth it. lol. well done. but this whole solo thing is awesome. take me back when I was kids and camped all the time in isolated areas. thank you for sharing
THE Intro....applause, applause! And the BLUE beast...my kind of jeep! Is the foldable portion on top of the jeep just a roof or a bed , too? I know somebody with a van and a foldable bed on top. Shout out for leaving your camp spot better than you found it. Untrimmed toenail while hiking...ouch! Hahaha Can't wait to go camping solo...without the bugs, pls!
I'm setting my Silverado up for overlanding/camping now. I'm going to check this area out and try to find some spots like that for launching my fishing kayak and camping. If I can mix some wheeling in as well, it would be perfect! Thanks for the video.
They wont say on youtube for some reason, this is why its not popular in canada becuase no one knows where to go and the ones that do treat it like its a secret
Love your camping set up. The music is very atmospheric and works well with the video. I haven’t done solo camping yet but would absolutely love to at some point!
So brave to drive through the woods like that . how far is it and how long did you walk from falling trees to the lake the first time you got there? You can use some spray to keep the bites away next time.
This is the first time I have ever been in that area. I just get in my Jeep an go. It’s the unknown adventure I love. The walk from the fallen trees was about 1km. Not that far. I will know to bring a chainsaw next time so I can get down there with the Jeep. Maybe no in big season 🤦♂️
Hey man great videos, you do good work. Love that spot at the end by the water. PM me I have a good spot for you to make another video if your interested.
The spots look great here. I’m going to be over landing this fall and would love some guidance on where to ride. I’m in southern Ontario but regularly visit Algonquin and muskoka areas to backcountry camp. Any help is great.
It is safe. I did have a bear come into my camp on one of my other videos when i was up there. It smelt my dinner. So I packed everything up and went to bed on my roof lol
Nice video. I’m taking Caesars next time we camp. Our tradition is we always make escargot (not everyone’s taste but it works for us). Also you need a chainsaw 😂 #saltybeaverexplores
@@overlandaf_adventures472 I live in the Hamilton area Ontario and I know I’d have to drive a bit to get to anywhere good and I’m definitely willing to do that, I saw your video and I’d like to visit that place

I love your Jeep with the tent on top! Great way to travel! 😁 I did a canoe trip overthere long time ago! 😁 ATB 😀
Did you canoe in Algonquin or Bancroft?
Amazing. Southern Algonquin panhandle trails?
These trails are in Bancroft
@@overlandaf_adventures472 is there a specific name for the trail? I would like to check it out
@@owenjohnston3541 I don't know if they had trail names. This was in Bancroft forest

Wow you are so brave! I was nervous just watching this! so cool!
Love exploring in the woods
Had to watch this one again! Makes me miss being outdoors in the summer. Would love to be out there swimming in a lake too right about now!!
Bring bug lotions. Your intro and video like a movie. You set up tent and sleep top of the car cool😊. intro music awesome.
Had bug spray but forgot it on the trail.

Yes rooftop tents are great but $1500 later..
Just found your video while looking for some places to go overland/camping. Just subbed! Bought a Chevy Trail Boss. How does one get to those trails?

Solo is a whole new experience. It’s a different feeling especially when you go somewhere you never have been before. Hard to explain but I love it.
Another great vlog. That intro was epic.
😁👍😁
This is a really cool idea. I've done some primitive camping by myself and it is really hard so props to you.

you have to start carrying a spare tire almost as severe as the winch great vlogs
Thanks Bombi 👍..I always do but it's hard on my tailgate and super annoying listening to it raddle. But yes you are totally right.
