    You need a Fumoto valve, makes changing your oil MUCH easier!!!
    It's made it possible for me to start changing my oil again since my back injury...

    When I was a young man I changed my oil. I had a Honda Accord and changed it every 3000 miles. I always oiled the seal also. Great Video ! !

    Very cool Tampa Jay- great job buddy! and guess what? I actually already knew how to change oil as I’ve done it before (my uncle who raised me, made sure I learned and could do it myself). 😊. But now, my hubster changes the oil and filters in the car for me .

    This one reminded me to change my oil. Lol.
    You'll get a quicker and more thorough drain if you take the oil fill cap on top off before you pull the drain bolt.

    It appears that you have some good vehicle maintenance skills there, I like to change my own oil to and sometimes, despite the misery of mishaps and complications, repairing other things on a vehicle if I have the know how, but I will never replace a transmission again, that kind of stuff will go to a garage.

      THX-0381 Thank you buddy I enjoy trying to do my best with. Being handy. I'm always on the budget so if think I can do it myself. I give it a try. Thanks foe watching brother i appreciate you

    Dip your finger in the cap of the new oil container and lubricate it with that. Doesn’t make a difference just a preference

    Weird, no one fills the new oil filter before installing it to mitigate the time the engine runs without full oil pressure.

    I noticed inside your Honda Pilot I didn't see a gear shift knob on the steering wheel column. Is that a straight shift? I didn't know that a straight shift was available 2006 Honda Pilot. Or maybe I missed something?

    • @TampaJay
      @TampaJay  2 роки тому

      There’s a shift knob on the column but I wish it would have been a straight one. The trans started slipping so I got rid of it.
