I just imagined her doing a Paul Bearer-style promo with an urn, trying to summon Vader's ghost. For a month or two they could be showing backstage promos with Nikki performing some weird rituals and speaking cryptic gibberish. And then, at a PPV, her sister comes out wearing Vader's ring gear and cleans house. And so begins the "Brie Bella possessed by Vader's Ghost" storyline. It could definitely work in AEW.

Ya know what the Bella's inspired? The fans to want real female wrestlers in WWE, thats their contribution to the wrestling industry sucking so much that the fans demanded change for women's wrestling in WWE.
A lady I used to sit next to a work around 2014/2015 she watched WWE as a teenager and we would often talk about it. She watched a lot of E! at the time so she ended up watching total divas around that time, she couldnt stand the bellas (Nikki more so then Brie) and she liked Nattie. From that she caught a few episodes of Raw and she would ask things to the effect of "I watched Raw why does everything the Bellas do look so fake? are they only on the show because theyre fucking Daniel Bryan and John Cena?"
Spot on. The Bellas had the easiest gig in the history of women’s wrestling. They arrived after the “bra and panties, pillowfight, lesbian action, go out in your underwear and bark like a dog” era. But before the days of women who could actually wrestle, and were expected to be able to at least work a watchable match. Britt Baker should be directing her admiration toward women like Ivory, Mickie James, Victoria, Gail Kim etc. who had to put up with the worst of both worlds: the objectification AND people viewing their work as a piss break when they were actually going out and working their butts off.
@@kevinwooster3003 Yup and they didnt even do a good job in that era with the role they were given and were pushed as the faces of the division. The whole era from around 2011 to the womens revolution was horrible because of them, the annoying thing was WWE still had good women on the roster at that point in time too who could do promos, had charisma and personality and put on some good/watchable matches. 100% agree with about that with Britt and its also even if she became a fan of wrestling during that era and wasn't familiar with some of the great women from the past. There was Beth, Nattie, from memory Melina was still in WWE at that time hell even Layla who was a good talent pretty underrated too

Britt’s post was ridiculous. Who tf did the Bellas inspire? 😂They weren’t glass ceiling-shattering icons like Trish or Lita. They don’t have people following in their footsteps like AJ Lee. They weren’t workhorses like Molly Holly, Victoria or jazz. They weren’t game-changers like the Four Horsewomen. At best, they were the new generation’s versions of Sable, and thankfully, not too many women in the industry wanted to be like her.
Did you even watch that era? Them, AJ and Paige were the ones who put women's wrestling on the map. Not the four horsewomen, they just continued the "revolution" afterwards. Without those 4 women, you would have no Rhea Ripley. You would have no Bianca Belair. They would be doing what Natty does, just having exhibition matches to pad time

As a woman who used to watch wrestling regularly I will NEVER say anything that complimentary about either Bella. If some of the women currently working were inspired by them, fine. But the days I was ever entertained or impressed by either woman was rare. Their popularity and influence came about because they had a hot TV show and because they dated/married men who were top stars. They do not deserve credit for anything they did in ring.
