I laughed when you chose your words carefully... loved when the cameraman laughed cuz we both were thinking the same thing... haha. Nice vid. Thanks for the help with the project.
I'm actually in the process of working on it right now, but unfortunately I am waiting for parts. I should have part 2 by the end of the week because I have some stuff I ran into I'm going to show you. I like builds too!
Sorry I keep commenting!, did you run the highlifter axles with the kit? If not what did you use? They say the kits need their axles, but I dont see everyone who has installed the lot using them. Are the highlifter axles longer/stronger or are they the same as east lake or demon or gorilla? Thank you again if You can help me
No, man, you can comment as much as you want! I run the stock axles on both of those bikes, The newer ones need a little bit longer axle. From what I've read. Highlifter axles are much stronger not as strong as gorillas. They are comprable to demon. Much much better than East Lake, we could not run the lift with east lake axles. Sixity XTA Axles are longer and good wi th a lift, If you're going to run a aggressive tire don't use sixity though.
@@RidgeRunnerATV no nothing aggressive, its just a cruiser for me and the wife so I want to try and do everything the way it needs to be in order for it to last. I don't plan on mudding it, my only reason do this is because a lot of the trails up here in MN have been gutted by massive machines even though only 55' wide machines are allowed, some obstacles would be nicer with that extra lift and bigger sized tire, some water crossing also, that extra few inches will help there to. I just didnt want to go with the " well they said I had to!" Before asking about the axles! Youve been a big help.
I'm adding a 4" lift to my 04 sportsman 500. You say East lake doesn't work for that? I just purchased all new axles from them and now I'm questioning if they will work or not

@@TheNoah532 they were a bit short on the 850 with the lift unfortunately. Hopefully it's a different story for you!!!
Ok so if they end up not working, is there a brand you'd recommend that doesn't break the bank?
How many inches was the lift kit?
2" lift kit.
@@RidgeRunnerATV hey bud is there any way you could send me or email me a copy of the instruction sheet for the snorkel kit.
