Been playing mage for a few months now. I bounced off fire mage because I thought I would need crazy reaction times to fireball into fireblast on crit. This makes so much sense I'm really excited to give it another try.
Love the guide! Coming back to retail after a 10 year break. Starting playing SoD with a buddy a month ago, we are hoping on retail to kill the downtime in between raids. Have always played Druid tank/rogue and priest healer. Wanted to venture out and try a caster dps! Landed on your video will be coming back to watch it a few times as I learn the ropes!
Holy shit this, I’ve looked at so many guides. This is the only one that actually made it easy too understand. Thank you so much, please keep it up. Is this build and information still relevant in war with in?
Amazing guide thanks! I’m new to fire mage. I get confused as for the Flamestrike build. Would you use flamestrike or Pyroblast on single target I.e dungeon bosses etc… Also what’s build is best to use in lower keys?
ive been a warrior for near 20 years im stepping away and going fire mage i have so much to learn ur vid explained alot ill be referencing a fair bit i can assure u. subbed and liked cheers man.
You can check out my class guides playlist. I try to keep my videos at a basic level for newer players. ua-cam.com/play/PLFH9FsP-SrSE1GII0slJ1p5S7bsoWFnwA.html
What a guide! I quit WoW after Shadowlands release, but I got hyped while watching Blizzcon today. I was about to create a dh, but it seems not rly good now. Watched your guide -> back to fire mage main! Keep up the great content dude!
its my first time playing wow and mmo in général im lvl 12 fire mage and i think im gonna quit , if i pull more than 2 enemies (same lvl as me i die , i tried warlock and it was easier with the summons but i really wanna play fire mage but i find hard
There will be a button that looks like a target with a knife in it down in the lower right corner below your bags labeled Specialization & Talents. Open that up and choose which spec you want to play by clicking the activate button. Then you can assign your talent points. At low levels you'll still have a similar rotation. Spam fireball until you get a heating up proc, fire blast, then instant Pyroblast.
this character is too hard not to hardcast or just spam fireball the 40things you should be doing sheeping everything and pyroblasting isn't really a viable standard flame wave speed and counter i guess is what you have against other mages and you not being critted every 2 min should work out i mean just barly do you jump that way to make that instance compareable to the ability to be stopped in the battlegrounds but if however you can't play a perfect guitar you can always get boosted you're fireball spells are used less cause you have all the instant spells you do while eating popcorn if however you can't multicast scortch or get a triple scortch going maybe the class shouldnt be played so its just a teleport person with i guess crafting in mind i thought boosting a mage was like 40% of warcraft i guess the cantrips of cloth-healing made it too different to make it a class the rouge is throwing daggers and doing 10percent of you're hp i guess if you have 3 mages everything dies but that's not really giving it a class is it i would say 40% of a mage is just being on the mount at special times to get across the board but by the time you get there on most maps it didn't really matter so i don't know if they need more range or move speed i guess you could add like slow fall to make it a class but i don't see warrior's throwing you if you can't get a armor reduction spell i might look into warlock and if warlock can't get a good fire spell i might look into just staying mounted more in bg's everything has the equilivent of 1000 armor for what i can see and not being able to do 30 points of damage with a staff kinda sucks im guessing if you have more dot focused or freindly fire shield to bounce stuff it might be cool if you don't get like 30 types of mage armor or even a conjure mana token i don't think its gonna be in game viable without doing 40% all the time 400 fireballs is alot to cast in a day if somehow you're actually winning like a good 99% you're character can be added to the boosted character in the war within but you learning 40 new spells when the patch comes out cause you're doing 3 million damage and you have to get like 4 mirror images again i don't think people wanted to kinda see a bunch of mages having all the spells in the game as soon as they start playing i think it throws people off that people don't really play this class im guessin its like madden but with 90% more move spells but hey im not the one who just got 30k armor as a warrior and can leap n my armor is so buffed up that i don't need to use my pick axe i got at level one if we read the spell reduction on the website of the war within we can calculate the time it took to decide wheather this was a good idea to use 4 spells to use 4 armors and to use 4 potions if you have at least that i guess you wouldn't need to boost but im not too good at madden so im guessing the ability to run around isn't really a skill in the game and people are going to be flying and grabing everything from everybody else anyways im guessing warriors and this mobility class don't stack within the dungeons or not supposed to but may have a way around 40 percent of trashi guess but everything that healthy and why boost the druid
This guy explains this 100x slower, clearer, and more precise than anyone else on yt. 100% sub
No kidding, this has been one of the best guides videos I have seen. Well done
I really appreciate how you use visuals and clearly state why certain abilities do what they do and how they work together. dude ty so much!

Combustion + SKB = massive dmg
such a strong combo
Earned a sub.
Can you include your talent tree import string?
Do you think 2points of caontrolled destruction would be better then call of the sun king and alextrazsa's fury on pure st?
What a guide!

I haven't played my fire mage or WOW itself since 2016....UGH!!!!!
lol just realized i’ve had sun kings blessing chosen for all of dragonflight and never used it. didn’t read it closely
How on earth is this a beginner's guide? Some people are so clueless when they try to teach.

That's an impressive run-on you got going there
