- I've been living in Prague for over 2 years, and still have SO many places to explore in the Czech Republic that are just short bus rides away. This weekend, I took advantage of a sunny day to visit Karlovy Vary, a spa town about 2 hours west of Prague.

How beautiful my homeland 📢♥️
Really great video and presentation on Karlovy Vary, wished I could get back to Czech Republic to see more :)
Gorgeous city with canals, vibrant architecture...wonderful information, thank you!
This was amazing! I have wanted to head to Karlovy Vary since I watched my favourite movie Last Holiday when Queen Latifah heads to Grand Hotel Pupp :) I loved Prague. It is an amazing city.
Never heard of Karlovy Vary. love the architecture! good historical background info. the hot water fountain is pretty unique. I'm always amazed how long you can talk without any cuts!
Beautiful buildings. What a gorgeous day you got for it too!!
What a great place to visit. I love day trips when I travel. I have yet to visit Prague or anywhere in the Czech Rep, but would love to. I loved the architecture. Great history and information. Thank you for sharing.
There are so many great places in the Czech Republic, even outside of Prague! I loved visiting Karlovy Vary on this day trip :)
yessss because of all the good things you guys told me I think im gonna be going there in a few weekends! It looks so beautiful!!!
Kris A. It's gorgeous! I'm definitely going to be heading back to check out the spas 👍🏻
i love karlovyvary ❤️❤️
Wow Its Awesome 💗 and its beautiful country. Im from Philippines., but i really want to come in Karlovy, Czech republic.
Grear intro! Loved your video. Lots of great info. Thanks for sharing.
I should check out Prague again and see Karlovy Vary. When I went, the weather was dismal and gray the whole time, affecting my impressions. The park and architecture looks so beautiful.
Gray weather in the Czech Republic definitely leaves a distinct impression. You'll have to come back in the summer, you're much more likely to get some sun!
summer is blue sky and sunny shinig - this video shows how the weather looks october to february
You did it right take the train not an excursion save money no time pressures. Good video.
I'm going to Prague on 5th May for my brothers stag do, I don't think I'll get much time to look around but I'm excited to visit! When you stood at the bridge it honestly looked like a painting!! It's beautiful!
I hope that you have a good time! There's a lot to see in Prague, you don't really have to take a day trip outside if you don't have a lot of time. I have a video about my top 5 spots in Prague, maybe you can check some out :) ua-cam.com/video/S6cziobZ8Js/v-deo.html
Fantastic tour guide! I wish more creators knew as much about the places they visit. It makes all the difference in the world.
Thank you! Such a great compliment :) I love creating *hopefully* useful and interesting content, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
that therma spring is awesome! so cool that you can drink the water!
It's apparently supposed to be very good for you because of the iron content. I have to admit, it tasted pretty horrible, but it's the thing to do!
I loved Karlovy Vary! been there 6 years ago and really miss the place. Fabulous video btw :)
This is such an informative video! awesome stuff!😀
I love the historic infos you pass in the Video. Really interesting!
I feel like I went to Karlovy Vary with you! :)
Great intro! I wish I knew about Karlovy Vary when I visited Prague! Great information and architecture for sure!
there is many towns and reginal cities like Karlovy vary an hour out of Prague or even 3o minutes - its really worthy to visit at least 7 most visited places among all of them..
Great video. Keep up the good work !
What a great channel name and intro :) Thanks for all those information about praque ! New subscriber here
Thanks! This video actually isn't about Prague, but about a day trip from Prague to Karlovy Vary in Western Bohemia nearby to Germany. If you're interested in learning more about Prague, I recommend you check this video out! ua-cam.com/video/S6cziobZ8Js/v-deo.html
Ooh the thermal spa! That's where you'd find me 😊 I've never been to any thermal spa town. You're so good on camera btw. Very professional!
Thank you! I LOVE spa towns! I recommend Bath in England and Aix-en-Provence in France as well- those are my two favs
Great video would love to take this trip next time I am in Prague!
Also, I haven't been to Prague but its architecture and city layout is sooo similar to Budapest, my home city! It is so nice to see that, it gives me such homesickness! maybe PRAGUE IS MY SECOND LONG LOST HOME? 😱😂
Prague is an amazing city! This video focused on a day trip outside to Karlovy Vary, but if you're interested in my Prague content, feel free to check this one out :) ua-cam.com/video/S6cziobZ8Js/v-deo.html
Such an informative video! I would love to do a day trip and visit the thermal spa!
Hey great video! First time on your channel. I was planning on visiting this town next month for about 3 days but I'm worried that maybe ill get bored. Would you recommend it for the young crowd?
Czech beer - the best beer in the world, Becherovka - a herb liquor born here, Slivovice - which NOT a liqour - but plum very traditional brandy, spa with hot spring, perfect burgers close to the bus terminal - just ask locals, around the city are very close many spots for one day or even half day trips...
nice video.. magnificent architecture. the place is very clean..i wanna go there.
is there any exciting activity you can do there?
wow,gorgeous
Last time I and my wife were taking a bus to Cesky Krumlov at Florenc, when the tour steward by the side of the bus driver stepped down from the arrived vehicle and started to articulate a long long chain of Slavonic liturgical incantations, it was literallly overwhelmingly legendary to two foreigners like us, and I totally instantly went "duhh!" Btw, what's the story between Florenc and Florence (Firenze) in Italy ?
no connection
is there any entry price taken to visit the thermal spring?
Nope! There are thermal springs spread throughout the city at various temperatures. If you want one of the typical Karlovy Vary thermal spring mugs, you can purchase one from a vendor on the street, but otherwise, you're free to visit them all! The spas are a different story, those are of course by entry fee and treatment price :)
Thank you so much for your prompt reply! ☺️
Nice places
Hot springs around the town? Rad! This would be so ideal for my tea addiction ;) How can we incorporate this in the US?
Such a nice girl!
1:23 it is not canal but river Teplá
I take it you can travel by train to that town.
I liked the video but I duno about describing the expulsion of ethnic germans from Czechia as "not so much."
