Hi from Perth Australia. I have 2 of these (the 20.8AH & 25.6 AH) and a Vsett 9+ (the 19.2 AH). Just recently upgraded both with Magura MT5e brakes and 180mm Radiator rotors. I upgraded the 9+ with Vsett 10+ brakes ( the mechanical brakes are awful ) and 140mm rotors. All 3 scooters have 'Spank Vibrocore' handle bars (800mm on the 10+'s and 780mm on the 9+). All 3 scooters have the Upgraded Vsett Center LCD Throttle & NFC Key Card, Multiple frame sliders and Carbon Revo accessories. I use all 3 scooters for UBER eats deliveries.
I LOVE my Vsett 10+, it certainly turns heads where im at and the power is just intoxicating lol. Hope they do a seat attachment soon but Im thinking of just having a custom deck made for one. Still a great ride!!!!
I agree! It’s a brilliant machine! I got a deck produced by BerryBoards. Look them up, I bet they do one for the 10+ now. Please sub and like 👍🏼 be safe!
Just purchased the vsett. After having a hard time deciding on this or the mantis pro. I felt this was a stronger and better built scooter. Also having a rating for getting wet was a plus.
@@jaybui7506 I get mine last Tuesday but I didn’t try it yet …maybe tomorrow .. I put a phone holder , carrying case and a flashlight on the top …the scooter is so beautiful heavy and big , I thought was smaller anyway looks like a BEAST ..
I got mine 3-4 days ago, had to drive over 450 kilometers round trip and cross few borders to get it (it's pandemic, so it was extra troublesome). Boy it was worth it! I overtook a bus at over 80 km/h on first day 😂 I only had back luck of flat rear tire after only 43 kilometers. Local service didn't have spare inner tube of exact type, so they patched it and I'm waiting for a new one. I heard that wires from outer tire can make these punctures, hope it won't happen again. The other issue is that front brake disc has mild curvature which makes low scraping sound and I'm waiting for replacement. This might have got damaged during transportation in my cargo area as I had to open it and throw the box so I wouldn't pay import tax while crossing border. Be extra careful how you store it on longer trips. These two minor things suggest this might be high maintenance scooter, but it's early to say and it's so much fun. I just hope this won't be "Alfa romeo" kind of experience in coming weeks and months, no offence Alfa guys. My other scooter is Ninebot g30 max and I still love that rock solid guy due to its simplicity and sturdiness :)
Wow! Sounds amazing. Where are you located? This all sounds like such an adventure! I hope you get the rotor sorted out, you can bend the rotor slightly to straighten it for now. Ride it safe! Protective gear! Thanks for watching and enjoy your new machine! Please sub / like 👍🏼
@@SuperMet I am from Bosnia, bordering country with Croatia and EU. This Vsett was last on stock in entire country before next shipment mid or late June. Rotor doesn't show visible curvature, but you can hear it barely touching brake calipers every spining cycle, or you can see it when you lift the scooter and hit the accelerator. But it's kind of much lower now after they fine-tuned calipers for extra spacing. Everyone who buys this scooter will need another long range light source on top with independent battery and aftermarket horn upgrade. Stock one sounds like those warning beeps from trucks going in reverse 😂
The rotor is a pain. You can adjust the caliper by loosening it, pulling the brake lever and then bolt up. It’s new pads as well, so they will even out in 10/20miles of usage. You did well to get the 10+ I really like it. I use a nightrider light 850 lumens, powerful and removable. Ride safe and enjoy it!
I hope they make a vsett10+ v2 or whatever wit a 72v battery mid weight class just like the bluetran lightning. The swing arms on this scooter what makes it stand out then most dual motor scooters its flashy as hell. The vsett lineup looks better then the dualtron lineup but would be nice I think if vsett had all that LED lighting like the dualtrons.
Great review, appreciated the mix of the ride and walk around and not just reading from the spec’ sheet. I’m eagerly awaiting the shipment of mine 10+ in the next few weeks hopefully, if they ever arrive in the UK! Only negative I can see people have is the twitchyness of the throttle, how did you find it?
Thank you! The throttle has never bothered me. It is sensitive but it’s fine. I believe you can go into the P settings and tone it down slightly but you would need to check this. They’re really configurable. Please sub and like. Ride safe!
It is brilliant. I haven’t been riding much as I got stopped by the police and they let me go when I was blasting the Nami scooter. Scared me a bit though but nice policemen 👮🏻♂️. I just don’t want licence points and seized scooter! The Vsett seems great. My friends have them now as well and all adore them. Strong and fast! Ride safe
Hey! Just wanted to let you know that you can easily adjust throttle curve in P settings, it goes from 1 to 5. On 1 it will be butter smooth with slight delay which is perfect for gentle cruise. Moving to higher numbers will result in a more snappy response. You might want to replace handlebar with a fixed one, and one thing Vsetts are known for, the main lock mechanism for the stem, its main screw likes to get loose due to vibrations, this is easily fixable by either using a strap to hold it in place or maybe even better solution which I did, is to put a small rubber piece between the screw and lock, works like a charm and no need to worry about it going loose anymore. Happy riding!
Not really, it’s an easy swap, I used carbon 700mm bar on my zero 10x. I think they’re the same thickness. Just make sure the thickness is correct for the head. Ride safe! Please like and sub. 👍🏼
I would reuse the grips, like the one the the video. That has a metal bar replacement. They soldered the wires back on again afterwards. Very easy swap but you can’t change the grips
Go onto Facebook to the Vsett 10+ group. Ask that question and they will send you a sheet with all battery charge ranges. I had one but lost it. That will tell you instantly! Ride safe buddy. It’s a brilliant scooter and one of my favourite machines!
no nothing at all. The first had collapsable bars but this one had a fixed bar and it felt totally solid. I don't like the folding bars personally and they have wobble! Ride safe and please like and sub the channel
Vsett 10+ I think for me anyway. It’s higher end than the Apollo anyway and more money though. I think it’s the best all round scooter currently available before you jump up to the likes of 11+ or Nami etc which aren’t comparable machines. Ride safe! New 10+ ride coming next week so please sub/like 👍🏼
@@SuperMet Sure! 😊 What I would hope for is that Apollo Phantom is quality wise at least on the same level as VSETT? I’m looking at the 60v with hydraulic brakes. Yes, Apollo Phantom is not as powerful but raises less eyebrows with the police as it’s smaller and not as flashy as the VSETT 10+. Also like better the thumb throttle on the Apollo Phantom.
I agree on those items, I like thumb throttles as well but just haven’t changed on my 10x. It’s the build quality I think. The Vsett is so robust compared to anything I have seen at this price point. It is flashy in yellow. Rev rides do a sticker kit I believe to tone it down or change design. The stem clamp is also fantastic, so secure and friendly to operate with multiple safety points.
Great review. I have a technical question… when you connect the Vsett scooter to the charger, is it possible to turn it on and spin wheels during charging? (In other words, could a powerful "powerbank with the right voltage" be connected to it as an range extension)?
Good question! Yes in theory but there is a massive issue. The battery needs to be balanced with the voltage. So a charger or power pack needs to be identical voltage or the batteries could become unstable very quickly ruining both packs. So in reality, no it won’t work via the charge ports. Plus, the gauge with on the charge ports is much too small to handle big power. The chargers are low amperage. You can potentially hard wire a pack and double the battery size like on the zero 10x limited for instance but it’s expensive and needs a battery bag hung from the stem. I hope that helped. Please sub and like 👍🏼
I think it worth the money 100% I adore my zero 10x but it had issues which I fixed and cost me a lot of money to do properly. The 10x ticks all the boxes. I would do a nee damper at the rear, but, nothing wrong with it at all. It just works well, feels solid and does what’s advertised. No real bad points. Only can’t change the grips easily as they have the indicators but someone will make them in china sooner or later. Light could be higher. But I would add a powerful removable unit anyway. Go try one at PET if your in london. It’s very impressive and fast. Ride safe and sub/like please
I think the 10+ is such a good machine. Its smaller and lighter than the 11 and the tech is far newer. The 11 (I think) is all based on an older design. Personally, I prefer the 10+. Please sub and like. Safe riding

I think solid bars are much better. I don’t like the feel of folding units and no one has yet been able to make high-quality bars that have zero flex and redundancy measure for safety.
Good morning, I usually got around 25/35miles dependant on how I ride. I normally, when not filming go at around 3/4 power so use a fair amount, I run in dual and never really go that far each time. I know others that get more but ride more slowly than I do. Ride safe and please sub and like the video 😀
@@SuperMet Okay. And how often would you say you ride over 35mph for everyday use? Still debating between the vsett10+ and the ghost? I keep thinking 35mph is too slow for everyday use.. prove me wrong?
