Will this BMW X5 E70 3.0D start?! Cold start in the snow

- Decided to start up a RHD BMW X5 E70 3.0D M57 that i bought to dismantle for parts, but it has been sitting around since summer. Definitely took longer than i anticipated.

M57 is one of the finest engines around

Close the dor,the boot,otherwise it will pop in neutral,and change the glow plugs .
Yeah, forgot about that, but this car i'm selling for parts, so not gonna bother with the glow plugs.

Have you checked the glowplugs? -2 Degrees shouldn’t affect the start that much.
Nah, this car is destined to be scrapped anyway, so not gonna do any repairs on it.
You just need good compression and battery

Oh yeah, forgot to add the temperature. It was only around -2 celsius both days, but it seems the problem was battery and fuel having drained back from being parked for so long.

That gearbox is pretty much dead anyway, probably the reason this X5 was so cheap.
I like alot of the aftermarket pieces there. The screen, seatbelts and tail lights all good. Too bad you're getting rid of it. what kind of tune did it have? How did it handle?
It's RHD, i bought it only to dismantle it and sell as parts.
It's seen better days, i drove it home ~400km and that's it, haven't driven it more.
No idea about what tune it has, i'll probably read the tune off of it before dismantling.
@@TheKarlShow ok I was trying to figure out where that plate was from. I never know which countries use RHD or not🤦🏾
Yeah, we don't use RHD here, even tho', could register and use it if i wanted to, but i don't want to 😅
But it's a UK plate on it, i bought it from Latvia tho'
How cold was it there in Estonia? Also send some snow to Slovenia

It was only a few degrees minus that day, but it seems to have dead glow plugs.
I'm from US if you ship here and are good on prices I'd buy some stuff.
I'm afraid the shipping cost to US would be insane, but i guess it depends on size/weight. Might be some kind of import duty tax also?
