The texture is supposed to be soft inside, with many layers. Spread some butter when warm. This is a puff pastry, not a regular bread that you’re used to in US. The egg wash helps make it crunchy 😊

Has anyone tried this technique/recipe? Does laminating with a butter+flour slab instead of a purely butter slab yield a different taste or texture? Does the flour in the slab leave a grainy/sandy mouthfeel in the end product? Does it yield a result that is less, equally, or more buttery?
@Marco Gabriel Castillo I tried, it has no butter taste and it is very flaky. Its my first time making such bread. Its a disappointment. In the end i threw it away..
I tried another similar recipe from this channel, for 300 grams flour, 120 grams butter that I add 100 grams but in the end the taste turn out so buttery and the bread also didn't puff this much. It took lots of time, I think it didn't worth it.
