- We’ve been promising some equipment reviews/demonstrations this season. The Old Man tries out an 1100cc CAT diesel powered Bad Boy Zero-turn with a 61” deck. If you’re reading this you don’t need to watch the video. It’s the best Zero Turn mower I’ve ever ridden on. It cuts amazing with plenty of 35 horsepower motor. The deck is just our size at 61”. The comfort was, bar-none, the best I’ve ever experienced on a zero-turn. This is an awesome mower! Bad Boy, you guys nailed the hell out of this machine. Well done! ACME Mowing is in it's 6th year. We're going to make the 2023 mowing and lawn care season our best one yet! @badboymowers

I have had a 2016 zte elite I have had since new and I still use in in my business. Badboy is a very underrated mower I love the cut quality of mine.
I was very surprised at the cut quality and at the overall comfort of the Bad Boy. I'm sold for sure. Excellent mower!

Wouldn't have a bad boy again. I had one and it was nothing but junk and a headache. Didn't cut very good either.
Bad boy makes a high quality machine fosho. The build is heavy duty and they put big engines on them - They remind me of the big hustler machines

@John Acme Mowing Harrington There was 700 and I sold it About a month ago. And I sold it for $8k. I It had the cat diesel..
The only drawback to the diesels is the weight and it being liquid cooled So you have a radiator And a water pump so there is a lot more that can go wrong than your regular mowers 7500 with Less than 200 hours It's not a bad Price. I will be worried that Whoever had it before you prolly let it run hot. causing then to repair But if you're getting a warranty. It's not a bad price. You're not gonna find a mower like that for the money. new exmarks are 18k +
I’m buying it from my mechanic, it’s brand new he’s got receipts for all the brand new shit he put in it. The rich guy who owned it before him let it run hot and cracked a 2,200 dollar head

The best mower with the best comfort is hands down going to be Ferris. If you want the gas model get the ISX 3300 and if you want the Diesel demon IS 6200. I am waiting for the country to sink deep into the toilet and everything crashes then ill buy the 6200
I don't think you'll have to wait long for the country to crater. We just can't pass on this deal. The comfort is amazing on this Bad Boy. I was very surprised.

I’d like to try one out one of these days. The city where we live in just sold 8 of those scag fx1000v 61” machines. For $6,000 each they had 500 hours on them. But boy they looked rough.

I literally got 2 flat tires within 2 months and wondering who’s yard has these little wires hanging around. Now I know where they are coming from.

The 24’s diesels are Perkins.
Unless there was an obvious fluid leak, I can't imagine cracking the head on the engine with that few of hours. My guess is a clogged radiator leading to gross overheating on several occasions leading to a boiling over and severe loss of radiator fluid. I can't imagine letting that happen on such an expensive and new machine.
That's precisely what happened. The guy running it was cutting very overgrown property. He was unfamiliar with water cooled lawn mowers....so it never occurred to him to make sure grass didn't build up on it. It did build up and caused the mower to over-heat and crack a head. We got lucky that this happened! We bought this thing for $6500. I think it's worth at least double that price...even being rebuilt!

Should be a law and a fineable offense if the contractor leaves those flags. I trash them anytime I come across them regardless whether they are done with them or not. The paint lines are the actual markers anyway.
It's OKIE811. I always assumed they were put out by state employees. I also pull them when I see them. Still, I always manage to get a flat from one every year. Haha. That's my luck.
Bad boy is junk. I worked as a mower tech for 3 years and bad boys were always a problem right next to walker. Toro/exmark takes the cake. Might bot be a bad spare for that price though.

We can't pass the deal. If we hate it we'll sell if for a few $K more than we bought it for. We love our Exmark machines for sure.
