That Hybrid is my favorite for sure man, but overall your collection is sweet!! That Jackson lightning bolt crackle is pretty sick also Dewey!! Nice job buddy and I’m excited for the channel in 2025.! Thanks for sharing your collection & thoughts on it. Have a great day and until next time…. Stay safe, Stay metal, and don’t forget to riff.?! Happy New Years everyone and C-y’all next year🤘🏻!!🔥🎸⭐️🥂🎊🤘🏻
All very nice! I sold my jackson js32 to get a bullseye lp I've always wanted. I super miss that rhoads though...I plan on getting another (just not a floyd rose) & putting EMG's in it with upgraded tuners. I enjoy the content, Dewey! Keep it coming & Happy New Year! ....& thanks for the help with the firefly!
@@mattarmstrong1562 thank you for the nice comments and New years well wishes! Happy new year to you as well! Those Js32s are no joke. Excellent guitars, and their neck profiles are exactly what you get on the higher end models. Jackson are super consistent with that. I've got a js32 Kelly coming to do a video on. Glad you liked the firefly!
@DeweyJHall1 ...I loved the neck on that jackson, but I hated that cheap floyd rose. I put a Seymour Duncan put in the bridge when I first got it & when I went to sell it, I put the jackson pickup back in it. I was surprised at the output the stock pickup had... it was on par with the Duncan! Is that Rhoads you got made in the US? That's a sweet guitar! I dig that Schecter too.
This is the year that I tried to get back into playing guitar. Bought the LTD EX-401 in white ( Which I previously owned but had mine stolen when I moved out of state in 2020) Love it. And thanks to you and other youtubers I bought the Firefly ML in blue. Which is a beast of a guitar (hope they re-release the slime one day) so Thanks! your reviews are very informative and you got a great taste on guitars.
@@borismortysthank you so much! those ltd ex's are very nice guitars! They should be more popular than what they are. Glad you enjoy my videos and I helped you find a guitar you like!
Congrats on a killer collection I have 2 jackson king v pro series there excellent guitars you might like the schecter synster gates is another of my favorites very well made anyways all the best in 2025 Dewey 😊
@@GregoryCroney I've had a few of those kings vs, excellent guitars. Oh, I love the Syn Gates models. You need to dig back in my channel, I've got a ton of videos on those guitars. All the best to you in 2025 as well!
I need a better job. I only bought one guitar in 2024. An Ibanez S521. Im in the process of modding it at the moment. I have some new pickups but Im scared to do the soldering. Love the channel brother. \m/
@@sole__doubt thanks for watching! Those are great guitars. Soldering isn't that bad. Just watch alot of UA-cam tutorials and just take your time. All these where just being in the right place at the right time kinda deals. It's gonna be awhile for the big boy, Gibson is paid off tho 🤣
I've bought one guitar this year and it was a Jackson Js32T Rhoads in black and it plays nicely I will file the frets down cause they're sharp but other than that I love it.
As a person who’s played on a snakebyte I can honestly say that it’s the most comfortable guitar I’ve ever held! The satin finish on the neck works wonders!
Just buy any copy you find on ebay. Throw the neck, tuners, pickup, and trem away. Keep the input jack, neck plate, and strap pins. And start from there. Just look at it as you're buying the body. Which is great quality. You'll have to have it painted tho. They don't come looking this good. Happy New Year!
Terrible about the iron cross. I wasn’t a fan of the vulture either. Felt really hollow and thin sounding to me. Much prefer the snakebyte as uncomfortable as mine is to play haha. Glad you finally got your hands on one! 🙌🏻
My two best of the year were a USA Jackson Soloist SL2MG HT and a Firefly FFSP. It's crazy that the Jackson cost 10 times more than the FF, but I enjoy the hell out of playing both of them.
Nice ones! I tell ya, this year was the first time I've checked out Firefly, and I'm very impressed! Everyone of them has been great so far! Even the V I got with the super scratchy frets, plays great! So far, I believe the Buckethead V has been my favorite over all
@DeweyJHall1 , as long as you are realistic with your expectations, Firefly guitars are super awesome. I've bought 5 so far, and all needed work. Nothing too serious, but they do need a little hands-on fine tuning. Things that get missed because the factory just can't put the required time in for the going price. All of my examples had a high fret or two. Sometimes, a few lifted frets because they are using stainless and apparently don't glue their frets when they press them. For example, my fave FFSP had two high spots and three slightly lifted frets. Nothing so bad that it wasn't playable out of the box, but did need to be addressed when I wanted to lower the action even more. The nut slots were also a little shallow. Not enough to cause playing issues, but noticeable when I wanted to lower the action. So the guitar was missing the final "nth" of hands on that it needed to go from good out of the box to being a slinky low action killer. Work that was only required because I wanted perfect low action. But the foundation or core build was actually really, really good. The neck was perfectly straight, all hardware was g2g and no electrical issues. It was perfectly fine out of the box.
Sú veľmi krásne ❤❤❤aj tie farby sú úžasné ❤❤❤ 🎸❤
