I love everything that y’all do. What makes me sad is when I watch videos where people don’t know how to handle a car like this, take it & show off, crashing it, then not be able to enjoy the car
I'm pretty irritated that the GT350 is gone. There's no way I could afford the GT500. The GT350 was almost attainable for myself and in the next year I would have been able to get one new.
Same... I can finally afford one and now it's gone. The mach 1 is nowhere near as badass. What were they thinking?

GT350 is a better drivers car in my opinion than the 500. Also, prices are only going up on the 350's now. Especially cars like mine with low miles. I'll never get rid of my 350.

@@komaboi19 If you had the funds to almost attain the GT350, why not get a regular GT mustang and put some money into it? Or maybe even a C6 or C7 corvette since they're a bit lighter.
I have a 2019 GT350 that I track, great car, but a friend of mine had a catastrophic engine failure of his 2017 GT350 on a road race track in the Dallas area this Sunday. I was there and saw it happen right in front of my eyes. Gen 2 voodoo has a new ring pack but these engines are just waiting to blow rings or bearings. Especially if you track the car or don’t wait for full engine oil operating temp before driving. That’s why the GT500, FP350S, GT4, Aluminator are all CPC 5.2L engines. And Ford knows it. GM will have similar problems with the C8 Z06.
Just got a 2017 and I let it warm up several minutes before going anywhere
These engines are fine if you let them warm up properly. Besides, that's what full powertrain warranties are for.
That’s my comment (apexclip) above. Just different signin. Yes it’s critical with oil that is 50W to get to operating temp. I usually warm it up until it hits at least 100deg or more and my pressure gauge gets to less than 75psi on the dash at idle. As for the comment about warranty. That is THE worst way to build or engineer a car. Relying on warranty to “catch” any defects in engineering. And now my friend is waiting until Ford either approves or not. It’s a minimum of weeks to have his car back. And now even with a Gen2 engine, do you possible think he will or I will feel “comfortable” driving these voodoos at any pace? And this is not an isolated deal. It’s a known problem that has happened to entirely too many GT350 owners. Oh I left out one car from the new “mustang” line, the Mach 1 is also a CPC modular engine.

I have a stock GT350 that looks identical to the one in the video. Mine is a 2017 with only 10K miles so I'm sure it's a prime candidate for this but I'm totally on the fence about doing this. Since they aren't making these anymore, I don't really know if I want to change anything. The engine in stock form is a work of art and honestly has plenty of power for a track-based car. Also, how long will an engine last with this setup? That's a lot of stress on an engine that wasn't designed for FI. I have questions and concerns...

Do they have Roll Cages to keep them from twisting the frame... I have a Mustang Performance Pack and know it won't flip.

Great car may look at Aquiring a GT350 due to 6 Speed Manual Transmission.
Heck if the GT500 cost $50,000 & the GT350 cost $60,000 I'm buying the GT350. Don't need to be the fastest to enjoy a drive on the Canyon. I need the Manual Transmission and miss it. Darn dealership said in 2016 it would take 6 months to Spec a White PP2 with a Manual Transmission.
Now 1 year, or 2 to spec anything we're in unknowns, due to chip shortage.
I'll take one if these too I reckon

What's really sad is that beautiful machines like the Mustang, Charger & Camaro will be gone within 3-5 yrs. to make room for electric cars. That is a travesty to the automobile industry. An insult to the history of the muscle car.

Or you could get a 2013/2014. Comes with a supercharger and Last of the 6speeds. Sure it's the older bodystyle. Sure it has the solid rear axle. But let me tell you a few mods and your pushing 800 wheelhp ilove mine. And yeah I've mad maxxed mine with rattle can paint, long tubes and borlas some love some hate the only thing that matters to me is when I down shift and damn near get sideways. Nothing in the world compares.

Such a car does not exist. And looking through the generic crap everyone posted above me, I can see why they have no idea about what a car should sound like. The only car to come close sound-wise was the Jaguar XKR-S and the Aston Martin V12 Zagato at one point. Possibly a 67 Shelby GT500.
The V12 Zagato is actually a better sounding car but being a V12 it isn't really a fair comparison.
