What a great vid and review. I have a GT350 (soon to be supercharged as well) and I'd like to correct some common myths pervasive in the comments. The GT350 isn't really a muscle car. It's a full on sports/track car with massive breaks, wide stance, 305 tires up front and 315s in the back with proper oil, trans and diff coolers to take extended harsh track abuse. A Max'd out NA version of the same car just went 7:27 at the ring (in traffic he lost a few seconds) which is in the same realm as the Viper ACR and the ZR1. The car's tramlining, the vicious note of a flat plane v-8, the braking, make this car one of the most satisfying pure driving experiences you can have. The spiritual predecessor of this car is more M3 than it is mustang. It's an American car, but unlike anything Ford ever created previously and more akin to an angry touring car than a muscle car. The 15.5 in brakes (15" in the rear) will plant your face in the windshield. If you ever wanted a car that puts a smile on your face, this should be on your list of contenders.
That thing is just mental! That engine is proper special. Don't think it was mentioned but it has a flat plane crank v8 like ferrari and McLaren which gives it that high rev limit. But with some other trickery, have managed to give it that mad sound. Don't think you can get a better sounding new car. Love it

Shelby GT350R is Americas version of a 911 GT3 RS, M4 GTS, or AMG C63 Black Series. It’s a legitimate track weapon that revs to 8,250 rpm thanks to a flat-plane crank V8 (a la Ferrari). This dude then added 424 hp on top of the stock 526 hp. Mind. Blown.

The standard s550 mustang has the mt82 gearbox, which is Chinese built. The gt350s use the tremec gearbox, which is far better.
