Love seeing womans basketball being talked about. I have so much respect for players like Caitlin, Angel, Flaujae, Cardoso etc for how they play basketball but also how they manage the love/hate they receive from the public and media. Incredible people 😊

One of the biggest surprises for me was seeing Flaujae play ball cause the last time I seen her she was a kid competing on Jermaine Dupree's The Rap Game so when I saw her ball last year and this year I was like wow she can ball

I agree that she needs to be reeled in from time to time, but I think a lot of us forget that she’s the biggest name in basketball right now… and she’s only 22 years old. Like it or not, that is a crazy amount of pressure to put on someone who is essentially a kid.

Any lovers of the game can see that difference that’s the reason women’s basketball in NCAA is relevant today because of what they see with Caitlin. I’m Filipino from Philippines and never watched NCAA for a very long time already, and yet for this 3 consecutive years I’ve watched NCAA because of the passion I saw with Caitlin.

to me Caitlin Clark worked hard to where she is at now. The WNBA Players are just afraid they are boasting that Professional players are different how so older yeah maybe but Clark would be faster and she has great situational awareness. every time after each game Clark gives a good run down on the game she just played during the news conferences . I am sure Caitlin Clark would change the outlook of the WNBA . Just remember this fact all of those Pro players that are bad mouthing Clark now they were once college players so they don't have any water to stand on they just need to shut up and take notes I am sure Clark has notes on them how they play. If someone is going to the pro's they would be smart on doing research watching games they see on tv . Besides Clark never knew about Big 3 5million dollar offer . everyone says WNBA pays less yeah they do probably because there is no excitement but when we started to see Clark go up on the awards and as the playoffs were approaching then after the Championship game was over there is still excitement.

Who's hating on her and why? It can't be her play. It can't be how she handles herself off court. That only leaves jealousy and/or racism, perhaps because blacks have tradionally laid claim to basketball as there's and she's exposing the fallacy and silliness of that attitude? And she's doing it as a white girl playing with blacks, but not acting like, behaving like or pretending to be black. That's why there was such a contrast with the LSU squad.

    • @deejaay
      @deejaay 2 місяці тому

WRONG! Basketball is not a BLACK sport. Just so happens that the demographic of the sport is predominately black. "traditionally laid claim" Like there is some certification or level of degree for black people to claim a sport. .. that's ignorant.
You're talking like CC is the ONLY white (female) player in the entire sport of basketball. The media sure does scramble you all perceptions.
In any sport, a player is going to be love and a player is going to be hated (hate is a strong word, I prefer dislike) because of well they (she) play.
What the fuck is behaving like or pretending to be black? Please expand on that shit! When does playing basketball equate to being a race?!
Im not here to do tit-for-tat because CC did some stuff, too. But, it wouldn't bother me because all you gotta do is respect it. That's what lacking is respect for the players to put all their energy, time and effort to play and entertain you all.
But, I need you to expand on "traditionally claim..." "jealousy" and "fallacy"

Women's college basketball is just so much better than the men. I cannot name a single mens player, but I could name at least 10 women. Oh, and this chick in the white beanie needs her own podcast. She is excellent.

Race plays a very big part ....And that's not a knock against the person. Caitlin Clark, Abby Steiner, Christian McCaffrey, Eminem, Larry Bird, etc. all they do is work on their respective crafts and are/were good at it. The problem is that they get to be "America's Sweetheart ". But when a Coco Gauf, Naomi Osaki, Serena Williams and Venus before her come along they never were "Americas sweetheart"?. How about Simone Biles? Nada.....Dominique Dawes who Beautiful, classy Skilled...Anything?..Misty Copeland how she not? Let's be honest with ourselves.

I'm not hating on Catlin Clark but when you talk about the rookie bringing the WNBA more money you got to make sure you talk about the other Rookies two I don't know if people are being racist or what but they only talk about Caitlin Clark she's not the only one they don't talk about Angel Reese and Camilla Cardoso and I think Angel Reese and Camilla cordozo got more fans then anyone in the WNBA you will see in a couple of years and when Camilla start playing and they're going to win a couple of championship watch are you going to see are they got more fans and they are better than Clark

The fact jokers trying to erase the greats before Catlin. Example Cheryl Swoop a Texan; Cheryl Miller Indiana Finest. Just like the Samuel L. Jackson movie The Great Whyte Hype yall praise yet always loose.😊

You can simp enough for all of us, black men don't need to do anything for Angel Reese. She can post molds of her private parts, pull girls hair, threaten coaches, chase and taunt players, wear 5 feet of weave and 12 inch fake eyelashes. And you can call her queen and not fail her. We're good.

Racially motivated or simply arrogant and ill will - just bush league at least ..... terrible envy and sad poor character of these uninteresting women players. No wonder their attendance is lousy and even other women WON'T SPEND THEIR MONEY ON THEIR LEAGUE ! Pitiful.

I don’t think Caitlin is a generational player. Throwing up 50 attempts to get 30 points because her teammates can’t help, is totally different from playing with great players.
