Not usually my cup of yeah skeleton dials but quite like this one. Quirky and a good price. Not bad specs either. Alas, not quirky enough to buy. Thanks again Dan for a great review. 👍
@@watchmewithwatches I love Doxa's, I'm getting a Sub 200 soon, Snarkhunter on bracelet altho' I think it looks great on rubber too. I'll probably pick up a Seestern too, but it's my least favourite model. Still Seestern quality at £150 I'll learn to like it! 🤣 Look forward to your review!
I've got two of these and love them. Both are great after a year of constant wear. The only thing that bothered me was the small strap on the square watch. So... what other watch has the same square look? B&R. Get some aftermarket B&R straps, cut them down with a scalpel so they fit and you have an even better looking watch that you already do. Also I really don't see the issue with water resistance. This is clearly not one of those to take deep sea diving as I am sure we all do at the weekends.
These are definitely Marmite, as we say in the UK. I have the black and orange version myself. I actually like it because it's different and has some interesting design touches.
I have one of the Z-series watches and I think it is a fun "sometimes wear" watch. I completely agree with you that I wish they would spend some time improving the water resistance of the watch (at least 50 meters would be welcome). I think I would probably wear it more if I had to worry about WR less.
They are interesting, the purple is the stand out colour for me....not a fan of the strap but other than that it's a reasonable proposition....🏴⌚🏴⌚
I'm loving the outdoor approach Nothing beats a review in the wild The titanium case is most likely giving it that cheap feeling because my stainless skeleton pieces have never given that vibe quite the opposite I love em all but I'm passing on this one Thanks for pointing out the negatives Always appreciate your content my friend 👍
Good to see some outdoor shots with this, it's hard to imagine how a watch like that would look on wrist on the real world. The watch isn't for me but an enjoyable video as always 👍
Is the suspension going to work? You bash something and the watch goes more into your wrist, or it just won't do anything? I love a skeleton dial but I really want to read it lol. Nice to see something different, thanks!
Dan - great excuse to wear two watches - the other to actually tell the time. The gorilla must be to scare off would be thieves! Very cool. They could have skipped the rotor. Would be fun to just wind up.
I bought one of their basic hollow skeleton watches, it doesn't look as crazy as the X or Z series, it basically looks like someone took an apple watch and slapped a automatic movement in it. I quite enjoy the quirkiness of its design. It is an absolute pain in the backside to read at a glance though.
great review as always. I really like these and saw them a while back. just seen there is currently a 30% discount code SPRING30 ....which makes it very tempting!
I like a skeleton watch but this watch well a kind of like it but a kind of don't like it maybe just a bit marmite best a can describe it. Good review mate
God I'd haved loved to have been in the room when the designer pulled back the sheet to showcase this design. I would be just about to tell them what a crock of shit I thought it was but then someone would have kicked me under the table and whispered "don't say a word" . As a watch it is a homage to Tramadol. It is almost impossible to quickly and easily read the time without looking at it just long enough for someone to mistakingly take you for someone who is visually impaired. As a timepiece there is nothing good about it. It's all wretch without the vomit. All form without any of the function.
This is the best looking watch I have ever seen 😮
You defo have an eye for the quirky. Good job Dan

One of those watches that I'd love to have in hand and look at, but wear.... not so sure. But thanks for sharing your take on it Dan.
Thanks for watching!
Very beautiful craftsmanship.
Its surprisingly good!
You, Sir, have swiftly risen to the very top of my watches-related video content creator.s’ list Thank you!
Wow! Cheers mate
The materials and manufacture will mean this looks new for longer. That and I wouldn't wear it for a bet.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Thanks to your review...
I bought one! Same color scheme.
About as far as you can get from my personal taste. But it's a novel and certainly different watch. Good one Ciga.
Its got a niche all of its own thats for sure!
That lume signature on this reminds me of a flux capacitor and I'm here for it! Hopefully have one on my channel soon!
Dan, Seestern have brought out a new Doxa homage, Sub 600t, would love to see you review it.
Hopefully I can see one, I have asked if they will send me one!

Cool fun watch and i don't know why but i kinda like it. Cheers cracking review Dan 👍
It helps that its different without being hideous.

Do you think as we have seen sooooo many watches, we start to crave different more?
@@watchmewithwatches Yeah absolutely.

i think its a minor tweak to improve matters for the future models
not for me i have no taste(my wife and family say)but this is a few steps past my comfort zone great review and content
Thanks for watching!
I think I’m with consensus, not for me but I certainly enjoyed the review

Thanks Michael, I think the light metal ever so slightly can make something seem cheaper. I do like filming outdoors, it's easier too!

its something to admire, rather than have for time keeping!
I'd buy it for my desk
Thats a good idea actually, a display piece!
How much friss
im not sure how much friss is nowadays
... ye, ... hmm, let's agree, to disagree ... 😏 ... still fun to see the watch and someone crazy enough to like it !
🤪

Producer Michael on a budget 🤣 definitely not for me :)
