Peters cleaned house, even torned down some rotted walls. He saved a lot of money by buying a bunch of used furniture and selectively purchased some promising but unproven building materials. He then hired a nice crew to start putting the pieces to gether and gave it a fresh coat of paint so it at least, outwardly, looks like a functional house. Yes, some of the purchases aren’t going to work out and there may still be pieces missing. But these will be addressed once the real action starts and over the course of the season and next year. The keys are 1. He didn’t overspend and will have plenty in reserve for along the way and next year 2. He seems to have picked a lot of good pieces 3. The crew he hired seemed more competent than the last one(low bar, I know) So be patient folks, Rome’s not built in one day and house remodeling isn’t either.
Kicker will hurt us, but that’s on Brandon. In the next year or so we will have to address CB, Oline, WR, and DE. These our biggest holes and it will take time to correct all these roster flaws.
I saw the game and we really need a kicker. The secondary looks weak. We also need the receivers to pick up some slack. Terry can't do it all by himself. Hail to the redskins
Not sure there’s a solution for the secondary this year. We let up the most explosive plays in the league last year and then lost our two best DBs to free agency in Kam and Fuller. It might be a long season unless guys like Forbes, St. Juste and Quan develop quickly. Though I’m sure they’ll sign a legit kicker after final cuts are made next week.
@@danshowlundI like kam but I’m cool letting walk , solid box safety but coverage was consistently mediocre. I LOVE KFULL but it’s obvious he’s aging , speed ain’t there . Makes good plays in small spaces but ultimately slow imo. HTTR nonetheless secondary needs to improve indeed.
LA Rams have two kickers that are good. I hope Washington considers either of them
