I was out of my country for just two weeks and I still got reverse culture shock when I came back lol. It took me a week to recover and adjust😅. I can guess how bad the shock would be if you are gone for longer time..months..years :)
Even after a short time abroad you can already experience it. Thanks for sharing :) After 3 years abroad my reverse culture shock took months before it got better… also because at that time I didn’t really know what to do about it. Luckily now I have much more tools and I can process it much quicker. It’s a journey for sure, taking it one step at a time 😅
