Excellent instruction! Thank you very much! I love the way you described the plausible physiological basis, very satisfying to my questioning and doubtful intellect. And i love the way you prescribed the techniques in a sequence or recipe. I will use this as part of my daily practice. ❤ 🙏🏻 🙂
Doc, I hope there is a video which you pinpoint exactly where is exaxtly is the root chakra so we can easy focus on that part. Or every parts of chackra so we can easly know if we are in a right part.
To be honest we always called the ujjayi breath the Darth Vadar breath in yoga ;-) Fun fact: it's also really the only pranayama you can do whilst on the move.
You might think of these structures in the body as changing the frequency of the brain, brain wave, because they have a particular "resonance" within the body. Conincidently people the low vibrational energy centers are located further away from the brain then the high vibrational centers.
Hey Cody, I would like to recommend the writings of Itzhak Bentov, who states that our nervous system naturally ‘awakens’ as we age, and that western medicine ignores this phenomenon, when in fact it could explain many changes on how one experiences the world through changes in our senses, to the point of leading to a common and wrongful diagnosis of schizophrenia. Mr Bentov died tragically in a rather infamous airplane crash over Chicago O Hare airport, and thus only wrote two books, the first being a great introduction to quantum mechanics, titled, Stalking the Wild Pendulum. He is one of the first to put forth a holographic universe theory, but he ties in human physiology, in terms of chakras which open up as we age, and in many cases, whether we welcome it or not. He was a really serious practitioner of meditation. There is an interview with him here on YT. www.google.ca/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwjxjJGFn6fqAhWDoHIEHX7jB8MQtwIwAHoECAIQAQ&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3Do4llqC4lPGQ&usg=AOvVaw3Isk_haxhEXJ5anoUCrX2g
Use caution with energy-focussed meditation techniques. Take it slow and do not force anything. You can inadvertently disrupt your kundalini, the subtle energy of your body, and get 'kundalini syndrome'. I have kundalini syndrome, triggered by a terrifying psychedelic experience, and it has been hell at times. Mostly it is exhausting and a constant drain on my life. If you do experience disruptive energy from meditation, you should stop doing that particular meditation or even meditation entirely temporarily and contact a qualified energy healer. Research them thoroughly and pay close attention if you visit to make sure they are the real deal and are helping, not hurting, you. Avoid reiki healers. Do not take anti-anxiety medication to calm your energy down, except in small doses. You can end up suppressing the energy and weakening your GABA system, which regulates your nervous system. This can make the kundalini much worse and create a nasty synergy where you can't get off the medication because of the kundalini, and can't reduce the kundalini without lowering the medication. This is the situation I am in and the double bind is awful and makes resolving the kundalini syndrome much more difficult.
Since yur so interested in chakras and meditation, try jogging and utilized breathe through only tour nostrals, visualization minds eye, and and crontrolled breathe. Why i say jogging nbecause during your jog preferravly in the hikeing spots trails in the wilderness, utilize your breathe, each step is a wave so you control your breathe with each step, two or more can be a up wave thus a breathe in, then two or more steps is an exhale, now make it your rhythm that feels comfortable to u, and do not use an inhale through you moth because that will cause fatigue and exhaustian, but through the nose will be more controlled, when you master your rhythmic beeathe yoll notice a platoe in a jog, the eagerness to stop because you feel wonded andnthat you need to breath, avoid that and practice with imagery when jogging and going through the platoe then you'll notice you've jogged even further uttilizing less inhalation.. when you keep doing this everytime you jog, you'll begin to control you cebtral nervous system like second handedly sooooo!

Thank you! I experienced popping my Root chakra during this video. Made me curious. 🙏
Hey Cody, This is very eye opening lecture you brought to us. Thank you very much for the content.
Glad you liked it!
good job Dr. Cody .. well explained
Hey there, that was really interesting info. Thanks!
Can you provide a more detailed information on the relationship between chakras and plexus and the science around it?
Thanks I'll try!

Thanks. There is a picture in my Muse Meditation Guide. And some referenced reading material in the guide that may help.
Very interesting stuff! Right on the same line of thinking as Dr. Joe Dispenza
For sure!
Thank you for sharing this!
You're welcome Phyllis :)
Ive done this blessing daily for 6 months, never felt a thing.. is there any thing else we can try?

Good advice! Sorry to hear of your struggles.
Why not reiki healers?
