I'm Filipino. I went to college in Japan. Japanese are very caring people too. I really think Japanese and Filipino culture are different but we compliment each other. There shouldn't be any reason why there isn't better cooperation between both countries.

Yes correct. I lived in Japan for 3yrs and in that 3yrs i think there are only 3 persons in the grocery who started a conversation with me or asked where i came from. I wanted also a japanese friend who i can hang out with maybe practice my japanese with. I ended up being friends with a grandmother who is my neighbor. She's such a sweetheart 😍

Me as a Filipino: I really want to go to Japan, to taste authentic Japanese foods, i wanna visit their beautiful places, and experience their Culture. I hope someday i can go to Japan.
Authentic Japanese food is awesome. Restaurants that specialize in Sushi are separate from places that serve Ramen, which are then separated from places that serve Pork cutlet in Japan. So you're getting to eat in highly specialized places with attention to high quality. Whereas outside Japan, the opposite is true for Japanese restaurants. Family Mart in Japan was also amazing! For a 7/11 like grocery they serve amazing meals also.

Filipino are genuinely hospitable and has a natural warm personality, doesn't matter for us if there are some other people whose from different race. As long as we all have fun, like a family and friends at the same time.
We, Filipinos are also fond of foreigners because everytime we met one we feel like they also bring us to their own country by just talking to them.

Fun Fact : Filipinos really love Japan more than any other foreign countries. It is also easy to ask or communicate with them even though they are hardly to speak english.

My sister has a Japanese co worker and me and my dad cater their staff's food, she even calls my dad, * papa* the same way with my sister. Then my dad would call her (anak)child. She's very nice and sweet.

I have a feeling that if any celebrity from Japan is marketed in the Philippines, the Filipinos will readily embrace them and might even surpass the popularity in the Philippines of Korean celebrities. Remember when the actor of Rurouni Kenshin went to the Philippines to promote the movie, they were surprised by the craziness of the fans. Rurouni Kenshin was just a niche market, how much more if they market the pop idols. I think JPop will be a hit in the Philippines.

When i was in nagasaki japan before i was an intern,i study and work in the big cruise ship it was so rare if they have a japanese who can speak english fluently but this guys is so shocking especially YOSHI you’re so good man,i mean really good in english.you’re so amazing.

In reason number 1 I believe she meant that japanese people are more reserved. Ofc they do care about others. I have never seen a well mannered country than Japan. However, most of Japanese people prioritizes academics and careers than socializing. That’s why whenever she goes to Philippines she feels like she’s really in a different world since filipino people are really good in socializing. Specially when we see foreigners. We are very welcoming of foreigners :)

Not only philippines but japan is also a great place. Once i visited my grandmother who lives in japan, i had so much fun there! It also has unique places and foods in which you can't find or rather rare in the philippines.
But of course, every places has different characteristics and beauty. It depends on us wether we will appriciate it or not.

Mangoes are around 500 yen per kilo (4-6 pcs) depending on size. Baguio is nice to live in because it’s permanently cold there even summer. It’s colder around December to February that you may need to wear jackets outside. What she meant about Japanese people not caring for others perhaps is about being friendly and accommodating to others. 😊 New sub here. ❤

There are cold places too in the Philippines like batangas tagaytay, baguio etc. Summer begins 3rd week of March until May. And when that time comes u feel extreme hot like u are being toasted inside the oven so if your house dont have aircondition all u have to do is take a bath more than 3 times a day and drink liters of water or u can improvise a swimming pool for u and the kids to survive the an enormous summer heat. So if u are going to visit Philippines bring an ice pack, light colored shirts, a lot of face towels, a lot of energy drinks, a lot of water, bring a a portable mini fan that u can bring anywhere u go.
