I have a computer from the late 90's, early 2000's. I'm restoring it and don't want to switch to lubuntu, or any other operating system because it has important files on it. I play a few games on it, I have a good windows 10 laptop that I daily drive, but it has the following glitches: (When I open a game, it keeps minimizing it and I have to reset the resolution every time, sometimes even up to 4 times .When I press the mouse in games, alot of times the screen goes black and minimizes randomly.) I love linux, but I can't swap on my main pc because... I'm still not sure.
didn't the xp source code get leaked like a year ago? I'm surprised there isn't some sort of community effort to make it viable. ms would have a fit even if it were at all feasible though i'm sure.

There is actually some community made service packs that aims to give Windows XP some life.
