Nevermind i got it unstuck by pushing the button and pulling the black little lever on the inside at the same time as i pulled the lever forward and snapping it back
Hi, the easiest way to get film and flash cubes would be on eBay. It’s 126 film and will be expired, but should still work. You’ll have to do a search online to find a place to develop it and you can mail the film to them. Then you get your photos back. They can scan them into the computer for you too!
Picked up a 106 today that I'm currently trying to bring back to life, it looks like one option is to use old 126 cartridges and replace the film with 30 or 31 mm (I believe, just getting into this) in a dark room. It looks like someone on Etsy sells these cartridges that have been remade on a 3D printer for about $35
Hi, I got a Kodak 104 instamatic a while ago and don’t really know anything about it, my main question was if you happen to know where I could get some new film for it? As well as if you have any other videos that could help me with making it work again. Would appreciate anything you could teach, thanks. 🙏
Hi, you can always check eBay for some expired 126 film. You never know what you are going to get. My pictures always are a little cloudy and some have some discoloration, but sometimes that's the beauty of them. Daytime bright light pictures will come out the best. Night time pictures with the flash are not the greatest. I'll put in a video about the 104 in one of my upcoming videos for you. The use is basically the same as the 100 with a different flash type if you want to check out those videos I have on the channel. Happy shooting!
I have a Kodak instamatic 100 camera and I was wondering if you can answer my question. I don't know if you have seen this before but on all the models that I have seen they all are either made in England or the USA, mine is made in Canada. It also has on the front a bubble viewfinder instead of a square one. Do you know if this camera is a rare model and why is the view finder different and why is it made in Canada?
Hi, I know for sure that the 100 was made in the USA, the England (UK), and Australia. It very well could have been made in Canada as well. Does it say Made in Canada on the front badge? As far as the bubble viewfinder I would need to see a photo of it. It may be an attachment that was sold along with a wide angle and telephoto lens set. Here's a link to what that looks like. silversaltz.files.wordpress.com/2012/04/6908960096_9d2a72f2b9_o.png?w=1200&h=800&crop=1
I did find a Canadian link that talks about where the Canadian versions were manufactured. I'd still have to see the bubble viewfinder though. Sounds interesting. Thanks! ingeniumcanada.org/ingenium/collection-research/collection-item.php?id=1981.0727.001
@@LittleKodaks Unfortunately I can't show you a picture of my exact camera, for some reason it won't work. but I can show you a camera that has the same viewfinder that I have very similar to mine except it is made in USA. On the front of my camera it says made in Canada on it.images.app.goo.gl/baHvEfht3yJf6mnp8
Ah, I see now. So what it appears, in my opinion, is that it’s a design change from one year to another. Check your CAMEROSITY code inside the bottom of the camera. I bet it ends in OM. That would make it a 1963. The 2 I have are 1965 and have a square of plastic bordering the viewfinder.
Restoring one I picked up today for $4, such a helpful video and I'm so glad it exists
I'm glad it helped!
reminds me of what I'm doing with old Zenit E's, currently working on frankensteining together two broken bodies into one hopefully working one.
how do you remove the oxidation
where do i find the appropriate film?
I just got one of these and i pulled the lever three or four times but then it got stuck, any idea on how to get it.. unstuck?

I got one of these camera but the old batteries are rusted out and got stuck in it. Is there anyway I can get them out?
Yes, once you take the camera apart the batteries should fall out. You just have to take that leap.

Usually the normal view finder on the model 100 is square this one and mine however is round or a bubble shaped.
