This is a long shot. I have a 304 I am trying yint to disassemble. The screw located on the inside right under the camera lens is backwards on mine? I tried looking everywhere with no avail. I can't seem to figure out how to remove it
Unfortunately i dont know much about the 304. I learned my first cameras by trial and error, made photos of every single screw and element i removed and where it came from 🤣 unfortunately i dont have time to do anymore camera repairs.
Hi there! I've been following this to clean an Instamatic 100 I got from a charity shop, and when taking the top mechanism off, a piece fell off that didn't in your video, and unfortunately due to the focus of your camera, I couldn't see, wondering if you can help? It's a small piece of metal, about 1cm long with a fold in it to about a 45 degree angle, and has a small arm with a hole in it - My shutter mechanism seems to work without it, but I am not sure!
Check around the 10min mark. I try to explain every part of the top assembly there. Might be part of the mechanism that locks/unlocks the shutter mechanism. Hard to know without seeing the part exactly.
You’re amazing. Thank you so much.
Thank you so much as well 😃
Thank you for helping me put together my instamatic 104
