I've got a question about this particular watch you're showing, and I'm having trouble finding the answer. Could you tell me, is there any lume anywhere on the indices? I know it has lume on the hands, but I'm wondering about the hour markers. Thank you!
Very good information,I have a problem with this models, after 2 years ,once in a month it’s stop completely and the batery it’s On high and I set power save Off
Have an AWG-M100 (module 5230), am in Phoenix, AZ (DEN no dst), seconds are 30 seconds behind two Wave Ceptors I have. Any way to correct (at least get them closer - G-Shock was originally 10 seconds behind when I bought about 6 months ago)? Thanks.
So I've had an AWG-100 for 12 years, and it's always been perfect until the last two weeks. Lately when I wake up and put it on, it's suddenly about a half hour slow. I'll use H Set to correct it, and it stays correct all day, but the next morning it's again about 28 minutes off. The battery indicator says "Hi", so I don't think it's a power issue, and the digital time is always correct, but the analog is way off every day. Any idea what could be wrong? And is there a way to automatically synchronize the hands to the digital time so I don't have to manually hold the button each time?
Hi Greg, great video. I happen to own one of these 5230s, and I absolutely love it! However, there is just one slight problem. When my watch is in certain modes, such as STW, the lcd appears very faded. However, pretty much all the other modes (even the SPL function within STW) have perfectly fine lcd colour. Have you seen this problem before? If so, do you know how to fix it? Thanks!
If you mean changing a negative or reverse LCD to a positive display then, yes, there are folks who’ve done it to digital G-Shocks but I have never tried it. I suppose it would be a lot more difficult with one of there analog/digital watches.
Hello! I have a AWG-M100A model and when I press FORWARD, the time sync functionality doesn't start. I see GET in the panel but that's it. No receiving or anything. Can you help me? Thanks.
I have GAW100 and GAS100. They have very similar function as AWGM100. A trick, if you are running a timer, holding Forward does not trigger the wave reception.
The first one of these that I bought was the green one... and then I bought another just like it. So I like that but, then again, I like all of the other ones too! As for the Atomic Clock visit... the raw footage needs some work but I hope to get around to fixing it soon. It's actually been a while since I went there so it's ABOUT TIME I put it all together!
I'm here for Greg's soothing voice (& the watches :)
I happen to have a Casio AWG-M100-1A. Learned a lot from this video. Thumbs up!
Oh wow, this is actually pretty neat and handy. Thanks for going so in depth with these!

Great video, thanks!
Mine was originally set to Japan so hopefully switching to US will get the atomic sync working

I will buy this watch.
Hey Greg, is there a way to change my LCD white background and black letters?

Here’s one guy’s video about converting the display... ua-cam.com/video/89tC3roTGqQ/v-deo.html
what is the battery type on a awg-m100B. I hope someone replies....thanks
According to Shockbase.org it uses a CTL920 battery.

The combination you pressed is just to view the last time it received a radio signal. To sync the time manually, you have to hold the button longer…

First!
what's your favorite among them? also, where's atomic clock part 2?
