    the mini routine slowly to music, then faster is very helpful. this way, i can find the right hip movements without struggling with the speed of the music. Thanks as always for a great video. I would like more cha cha tutorials pleaaassseeee.

      Dance Insanity Thank you so much for birthday greetings in Swedish , your 3/8 Swedish îs good 👍😊. But your dancing ît’ s fascinating and inspiring me and others. I can not understand how you and Liwen are dancing , flying and talking , explaining the dance steps so professional in the same time ?! I guess it’ s a lot of work and years of Dancing experience, isn’t it ?

      Love all the Footwork Friday episodes! For me, a breakdown of the Samba whisk would be really helpful. It's one of those steps that I feel like I'm one technique tip away from getting it right.

    I'm in love with your videos and have watched lots of them that are on U-tube. As an older dancer I will not be able to do the moves as well as younger dancers but I do the tutorials daily and feel like I'm improving! I would love to come to your studio someday and meet you in person! I actually get the hip movement pretty well but still have trouble getting them to work with my arms! Some of it is probably age--and because I consider myself a little bit shy of people looking at me.

    Was curious to ask you guys, are you familiar with Habanero timing in Rumba? It's essentially the same thing as Guapacha timing in Cha Cha (which you demonstrated in the Turkish Towel 5 Ways video); "&", "3" instead of "2", "3". Are there any other interesting, fun timings that you like to throw into your routines?

    • @tytusbergstrom
      @tytusbergstrom 5 років тому +6

      Yes, I like that timing for rumba a lot. I've used it often over the years. pretty much any possible timings turn me on in Rumba if it feels right to the music, but I generally avoid 4 & 1 in rumba to keep things separate from Cha Cha, generally... lol!

    • @cdmnumber3fan
      @cdmnumber3fan 5 років тому +5

      @@tytusbergstrom I figured you'd have used it before! Timing variations really interest me; like you said, anything that feels right with the music and is cool is absolutely worth adopting into one's repertoire!

    • @DanceInsanity
      @DanceInsanity  5 років тому +6

      @cdmnumber3fan Absolutely! It's good to try things out with different music and see how your body wants to react and move. That's how new moves can invented. :)
