@Madlen you're improving your technique because you're learning the details and having fun with us at the same time. Keep it up. 🙌🏼 What do u want to improve even more in your dancing?
@@DanceInsanity ohhh there is a lot of things 💕 because of that I'm watching you guys, but I would like to focus on different character of movement and this ''perfect timing'', sharpness. It would be great to hold or be able to create that emotional tension, a story by sharp, accurate steps, body rotations or arms styling. Thanks for your work 💪💚🥳 greetings from Poland!
Hi Titus & LiWen. Thank you very much again for an excellent tutorial. Can you post a similarly detailed and instructive video for the same rumba walk but going backward? Thanks.
Thank you for your videos. I really enjoy them. Can you tell me if this rumba walks tutorial is Latin international or American Rumba? It’s hard to tell. I see the bent knee but it seems you straighten it quickly in this video. Does this lesson apply for both styles? If not, how will rumba walks differ for both styles? I study American style at the moment. Thank you. You two are a hoot!
thanks glad you like out vibe! lol! yes this is International: check out the differences here: ua-cam.com/video/dHwmk0be9ec/v-deo.html hope that helps!
Hey LiWen.. do you have any videos on Bolero? Learning that in class now and want to practise before class on wed Aug 14. I see it close to the rhumba walks but there's a distinct difference though slight it seems. Awaiting your response, thanks
Hey Corine! We'll most likely do some Bolero videos later on this year.. none for now. 🤗 what steps have u learnt? What differences do YOU see (so far) in Bolero vs Rumba? 😉 Consider body shape, size of step, knee action, hip action etc.
@@DanceInsanity Just the basic walks. The rhumba has shorter steps in a box. The bolero has longer steps, ups and downs and more movement across the floor
Nice!! 👍🏼 Bolero dances with rise and fall. Not so much usage of hip action nor straight leg action as in international rumba. So the style of the 2 dances are really quite different.
@@DanceInsanity Jesus! Last night we did the 2 hovers, practised forward and back steps and did I think about 3-4 figures that we need to practise for homework. Homework! My instructor keeps telling us to forward on the heel then toe, lift on the toes. Yes, there's the rise and falls...omg man...and stepping backwards on the toes then heels. How I keeping up with all that plus where to place my head, make sure to not step on the lead and remember which foot to step off on. Well yes!
@Corine We dance toe leads for Bolero, staying with the latin style, even with the rise and fall. There's always a lot to think and do.. best is to focus on one thing at a time. Get that in there, then focus on the next thing. Get it girl.
I'm learning rumba, chacha, and jive , but your lessons video is an obvious style for me . Thanks !
You look beautiful together!!! Love ur lesson bc it goes slow n every steps are clear for very beginners like me.....thank you
