Dear Becky,
I wanted to say thank you for making the videos you do. You inspire me and you are also helping me and so many other people going through cancer. You are so strong and incredible. It’s amazing that you show how hard things can really be and also you are very real. You are a wonderful person inside and out and so incredibly brave. Thank you 🙏 for sharing your story. ❤️
Thank you so much for this hearing this warms my heart and was one of my goals when I decided to document my journey❤️ I hope you are doing well and that your last treatment went well!🥰
Love this video Becky. Stay strong.
Thank God for sweet, kind people like you! 🙏🙏💜
Loved your video. Anyone that bugs you I’ll send Ripley (my dog also at times known as Muscles) to improve their attitude. I learn a lot from you and I’m waaaaay older. You are a blessing. ❤️❤️❤️🙏
:) I love how Muscles is your profile picture too. :)
I love this this is so kind❤️ thank you so much for this sweet comment❤️
Becky’s subscribers are amazing and kind ❤️❤️
Lavender is my favorite color too!!!! 💜
Wishing the best for you, Becky!! Just be your sweet self and ignore inconsiderate people. Just imagine how miserable they must be inside. ❤️❤️
I really feel for you with that thoughtless “lady” and the elevator. I swear some people live life with blinkers in total ignorance. Feel better sweet lady.
Thank you so much and yes I agree and that is why I wanted to share the experience to hopefully show people that aren’t going through something like this how it can impact someone going through cancer or a chronic condition
Hi Becky! You have had quite a day! And you are right in saying we don’t know what her day was like.
Be strong and be brave! You know I have myasthenia too! I get the invisible illness issue. I even find
that with my chemo now a lot of people are caught up in their own world….and just don’t see it.
I love your menus! My third chemo is tomorrow too! We can do this!
Love the green and black scarf!
Yes exactly and I think going through this has opened my eyes to the importance of being kind. I hope your next chemo goes well you got this!
Hi Becky: My name is Silvie and I live with my family in Toronto. My son Sam who is now 24 was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at 21. He had chemo at North York General Hospital in Toronto and then a stem cell transplant in Hamilton.. He has been cancer free for two years. He has finished university in Computer Science and just started his full time job in his field. So stay strong and stay positive even when you are having a rough day. Be a badass and continue the fight. Love your phone case!
I’m so glad he is doing so well!! Thank you for sharing this with me and your encouraging words❤️
Becky - checking in to let you know we are thinking about you and praying that each day you are getting stronger and we will see you sweet smiling face soon. 😘
Becky,you really are a Sweetheart
You never complain but just keep on with your life
Thank goodness for your lovely Mother
Does radiation cause any burning pain
Love your calming voice
Take care
Hugs
Always enjoy your Playlists
Beautiful girl. God bless you and your family ❤

Congrats on 1000K and finishing week 2 of radiation treatment! 💜🌞💜
Thank you so much!❤️ this was week 2 actually so only 3 weeks to go🥰
@@beckyshields Ooops. My bad...brain malfunction...I knew that. Sorry. 💜
Hi Becky you did a great vlog; very thought out excellent 😊😊😊😊 I mean they are some very insensitive, ignorant and rude people that act horribly with others😊😊😊😊 cheer up you’re not alone 😊😊😊 yes do allow yourself to feel your emotions because it’s healthy to express your feelings 🧘 hug all these areas about yourself the positive and not so positive because it’s you and it’s okay to have not so good days in the healing process too😊😊😊😊 you are doing great and have come a long long way and your scarfs are beautiful 💕 I love the pink 💕 and red ❤️ combinations; you are slaying with them 😊😊😊😊 Becky thank so much for your bravery, you are recovering and thanks for sharing with us, Migdalia 😊
Congratulations on finishing a week of radiation. You are making progress!
Your mom is a wonderful support companion for you.
Thank you! Yes I totally agree I don’t know what I would do without her❤️
Congrats on having over 1000 subscribers, I predict your channel will keep growing👍🏻. Driving is a big deal. I can’t imagine not being able to drive. Nice to have that spot of normalcy.😀 I love the colorful knotted scarf you had on! It’s so cute and funky. Sorry it was a rough day.😢 Good advice on the consideration. We can all do better, and I will keep that in mind.🥰 I like the decor on the phone case, it looks very cool. It makes life interesting when you have projects to do. Keep going, keep busy, stay focused and you will be finished treatment.
Thank you so much for such a nice comment making videos has been a form of therapy for me so the fact that people enjoy them makes me so happy❤️ I’m trying to wear a different scarf/cape every day of radiation so I’ve been getting creative with tying the scarves in different ways🥰
I love the way you speak and your pacing... there is a regulated peaceful quality about you that is nice to watch, thank you. I love MUJI too. Radiation schedule is a lot. I hope they put your music on for you over the speakers. Also those CT scan shakes are so terrible. :) Love to you, take care.
Thank you so much❤️ yes they do play music a couple days they played the Mamma Mia soundtrack! Yes the CT drink is gross!
That lady needs to be put in her place.😡
Rude people are so annoying. I'm sorry she was so inconsiderate.
Praying you feel better today.❤️❤️❤️
Becky you are the sweetest girl, I'm so sorry you have to deal with rude people. I really enjoy your videos and I'm so happy you have such a great mother. I love Chick-fil-A too. Love from Dallas
Thank you so much❤️ and yes I agree my mom is the best! We have both become Chick-fil-A fans!
So sorry Becky that woman was horrible to you but you get people some that treat other people badly but you are a lovely person and are twenty times better than woman in a hurry you are a strong lady God bless you and take care of you ❤️⭐️
I am where you are and luckily gave not had anyone so rude to have to deal with. I’m sorry that happened to you. I would absolutely have said something to her so she may think twice before being so rude. You seem much sweeter than me however, so I realize being vocal is not everyones style, lol! Hang in there! This will not last forever for either of us! ♥️
Thank you so much and good luck with the rest of your treatment ❤️ I wanted to say something but I knew I was going to cry and it’s hard for me to be confrontational but I’m working on it and hopefully sharing the experience in my video will help people that aren’t going through what we go through to be kind!
Okay, so I work at a cancer center. We get bombarded left and right by people. I don't know about other healthcare workers but I just want to scream at the end of the day! And I'm a compassionate person! I know you have cancer and everything but we are just human too. Don't forget that. And to add if you meet nice nurses it’s because they get paid way more than any other healthcare worker. So they’re not jaded like we are. Sorry it’s the truth. I’m a medical assistant and we are very under appreciated.
Yes I do understand that and I’m sorry if I wasn’t clear, and I’m sorry that you feel under appreciated. It was at the apartment building where the incident happened not the hospital and my mom just noticed that she had a staff badge, it was not an attack on healthcare workers I just mentioned that part because I felt she should have known if she worked at one of the hospitals down the street that I was a patient (chemo cap and walker). The same inconsiderate situation happened a few days later on the sidewalk where a girl on a bike my age blocked the sidewalk and only started to move out of the way when the lights changed and she could cross the street. The takeaway was no matter who you are is to just be kind and considerate and yes people are human and make mistakes so that is why I share what I experienced and why I’m sharing my whole story in the first place❤️
@@beckyshields Okay, fair enough. Thank you.
So very sorry about the rude woman in the elevator! Seems like she was an employee if she had a key fob. All the more reason to be more aware! People are in too much of a hurry and stressed out these days. You would think that with the pandemic people would have learned to slow down and pay attention...
Empathizing with you...I'm disabled..
have almost been trampled, walked in front of when using the mobility cart in stores etc. My disability is "invisible "...except that my balance isn't good...even happens with a cane or walker.
Hang in. Prayers continue for you and you are being added to several prayer chains. 🙏💜🙏
We all get fobs instead of keys so I think she lived there but we think she worked at one of the hospitals so she sees patients like me every day! I’m so sorry you have had to go through all of that it is so terrible and is the reason I share my experiences and advocate for all illnesses especially invisible illnesses so more people are aware and keep that in mind the next time they see someone who may be struggling!
@@beckyshields Thanks. 💜 Ooooh...I thought that it happened at the hospital. Even more shameful if she lives there and works at the hospital. Let's just hope that she was having a rough day as well...and that's not representative of her normal behavior. Glad I rarely go out!
Miss seeing you
This is so sweet🥰 I was hospitalized and I just got discharged a few days ago so a new video is coming soon!
@@beckyshields just glad to know your ok
I’m sorry you had such a bad time at the elevator, but I think that people today don’t have a lot of courtesy, and only think of their agenda! Or sounds like you have some fabulous nurses, though!🌹💐🌷
A lot of good outweighs the bad but hopefully telling the story serves as a reminder to be kind. They are so nice on the radiation floor and I have great nurses and doctors❤️
P.S
Where did your name Beckster come from
You are looking really well this week I have fibromyalgia so I’m used to living with an invisible illness I’m sorry you suffered from someone’s ignorance some people will never learn
Thank you and I’m sorry you have to deal with fibromyalgia I know some people with it and it can be painful! Hopefully sharing this experience will help people understanding both the invisible and visible illness community and how little actions can make a difference❤️
Thank you have a good week this week thinking of you x
I'm sorry someone was rude to you hun. Unfortunately the world we live in is horrible and America is not the way it use to be. People are truly ruining the world with their actions and stupidity. If I could I would take a belt and give them all an old fashioned ass whooping. A lot of people don't believe in spanking and that is fine, but my children are the most happy, well grounded, and respectful people you will ever meet. They open doors for people and if someone in a store needs something from a top shelf my youngest son is tall and they usually ask if they can borrow him to help them lol. He does it with a smile. They help elderly people with anything if they need it. They have their faults just as we all do ,but respect goes a long way. 80% of people now are just selfish and stupid. Enough rambling I just got upset about someone being rude to you. You are a very strong young woman and know that God will deal with idiots. Just be you hun and let God do the rest.
It’s sad how self observed some people are.
Yes and I hope sharing an experience like this (because unfortunately it happens to a lot to people) will educate people who don’t struggle with mobility
I love Need to Breathe! Glad it helps you, rude lady needs to think less of herself and more of others.
I had never heard of them before so I’m glad my friend introduced them to me! Yes and she could have been having a bad day but at the same time it’s important to always be kind no matter how your day is!
Becky please know that Jesus heals. Ask him to come into your heart and show you his salvation. Your life will forever be changed and you will see the goodness of God. He loves you so much. God bless you.
