Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started “travel hacking” and taking more trips together and finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this UA-cam channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before Nate turns 30 (which is March 20, 2019)! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)
If UA-cam had an awards category for “Most Huggable Host”, Kara would win. Her personality is just pure joy of life and sunshine.
I so agree. Watching her with the locals and kids makes my heart melt!!
I agree! I love her!
She is definitely the sweetest gal.
Nate's not bad either!
7:10 love when Kara said she can read numbers in hieroglyphs but not the symbols, and you can hear Nate giggling at the background 🤗
Are y'all going to tour Mars once you're finished with earth?
Nathan Holland 👍🏻👍🏻
Nathan Holland i
Only if there's the chance I can sign up for the Rover tour. 😂😂😂
haha, this cracks me up!!!
the moon after earth.
5:37 he said habibi not have babies😂
LOL! It did sound like "have babies?"
"Habibi" is a term of endearment.
...after inviting her to share that tiny seat with him....
I know, right. I was about to comment that!
Sounded like habibi to me, too, but if he was saying it to her it should've been habibti
Oh my GOD, a completely different side of Egypt. Everyone just talks about the Pyramids but these temples are so beautiful. These monuments give a desire that what if I can visit those times. Very nice shot and editing. Love your work. Love from India.
He actually said "what's your name Habibi" which means "my love". He just played along with the baby thing when Kara responded "no babies" haha
But, seriously, how sweet was he to go along and then tell her he had 5 babies of his own?
@@FireCracker3240 It was very sweet!
@@martakirchner5113 ...after inviting her to share that tiny seat with him....
perv alert
Dave C and he was aware that her HUSBAND was filming. You sound like a bitter miserable person
Habibi is an endearment in Egypt
Kara trying to understand the perfume recipes is me trying to understand my math question paper. Great video. Missed your vlogs a lot! Binge watched the old vlogs instead :) ❤️🇮🇳🙏✨
He diddnt ask if you have babies he called her habibi after asking for her name it's a term of endearment 😂
Also the brief conversation with someone on the road was thanking him for help in the port.
coffee every morning from Nate.thats a keeper.my husband has done the same fr nearly 34 years now :)
I love the part where he uses the cow plow and she rides with Mustafah the buggy driver. These are priceless interactions and give me hope that cross culturally we are all friends and just want peace and happiness.
Your choice of music on these videos is impeccable Kara. .. they just seem to fit so well to the content/destination of them.. I just keep thinking there must be a massive online music library where you can just type Egypt music and it brings uo the perfect choice!
Well done woman!
Great job '!

Seriously? Who would click thumbs down on a K&N vid? I think I will share this with my APWH students next week when we hit ancient civilizations. The perfume and flower bit might help them realize that people then were the same as now....Thanks guys from a fellow Tennessean.

Such a dreamy place to visit! Very interesting how the vegetation grows where the Nile used to rise.
I’ve been going on UA-cam every day to see weather you’ve got a new video. And tonight (I live in Australia), I’m gonna have a cheeky watch before I go to bed. 😂😂😂. Love you Kara and Nate
Real loved the tour of the temple. I had never heard of this temple much less knew anything about it. It is a very impressive structure. Truly amazing how Egyptians were able to construct buildings that have survived so many centuries. Glad you were able to capture so much of the detail. Thx for helping us learn about lesser know history.
My favorite thing are the subtitles especially the causal “???”😂 Also when he said Habibi and you said No babies, i love it

Mostafa? the one with 5 kids, he was a sweetheart! The temples are amazing. It is so hard to comprehend that massive structure was buried under sand and that it took 40 years to excavate. I CAN'T EVEN wrap my brain around it!!
Wow.. looking forward to the your videos each day..
