    PRO TIP: Place your Elektron device directly on the oven rack for a crispier crust. (Keep up the good work! Maybe the new neighbors won't be too terrible.)

    There should exist a supercut of every time you give the Digitone a new name.
    "The Digorno.."
    "The Digitony..."
    "The Elektron Digimon..."

      Oh and one thing about quantize, it does a post-processing, non-destructive quantize, which makes a difference when going to edit the steps. They'll still be 'off the grid' and all of that ugliness of humanity will still be in tact.

      The Digitone can work very well as a traditional subtractive synthesizer depending on the x / y mix. Sounds more like a Digital Synth at that point

    nice video, so to summarize, with Digitone, you look at it as the glass is half empty as opposed to glass is half full?

  • @maximesteiner
    @maximesteiner 2 роки тому

    Hi there! thanks for the video. i don't understand how at first you get this pattern with cycle mode; cycle mode plays ascending order and then descending order. your pattern goes ascending and then notes are mixed up, played once each. can you tell me more about this? thank you!

    Great video! If you had to compare/contrast this with the op-z, what would you say, which would do you like better?

    • @RedMeansRecording
      @RedMeansRecording  5 років тому +2

      I like the op-z sequencing more and it has sampling which is nice. The digitone stands alone as a breakthrough FM device.

    Is it possible to change the notes for a chord (2 notes simultanly) in the step mode? or just one note one step?

    • @RedMeansRecording
      @RedMeansRecording  5 років тому

      There is a mode for that yeah. But I'm not sure what it is. Check out the manual.

    • @whaleshaveteeth
      @whaleshaveteeth 5 років тому +1

      When you're in step mode, hold the step you want to change and press the little note key on the left side. That's where you can change as many notes as you want for the step.
