Pvt. Gregory Morales had been listed as a deserter after disappearing in 2019. Investigators questioned over 300 soldiers in the Guillen investigation.

It’s not a coincidence that you go looking for a missing soldier from a base and find ANOTHER missing soldiers body from the same base. Not to mention the 2 other men that went missing from Fort Hood only a few months after Vanessa. Fort Hood needs to be shut down, there shouldn’t be multiple people disappearing from the same place in such a short amount of time.

Greg was murdered and nobody cared. They assumed and labeled him a soldier who went awol. This is discussing. You don't kick dirt on people's names when they served with their lives. No proof. And they default to calling him a coward. Systems need to be looked at and changed for missing people on base.

They need to update their policies and increase education, ability to tell people something is happening, etc. but the majority of the military is great and absolutely necessary.
It’s a hard balance. The army is more about quantity over quality. I just retired from Air Force, but worked closely with the Army.
In the Army they have higher ranking babysitters in their dormitories. Surprisingly a lot of the Army’s problems are in dormitories too. You’ll never see that in the Air Force.
They need to close that base down immediately! Point. Blank. Period.

Im 50% Dominican and I have a mother and a half sister who were both born and raised in Dominican Republic. So Vanessa could have easily been my sister and even if she was and she got attention I would still think it’s bs that he didn’t. Because he is white and male

I have this feeling I don’t know if anyone else shares the same thing. I feel like this guy was doing somebody’s else’s dirty job. Someone from up high told him to do it! She was about to talk and they didn’t want that. She could’ve had prove and maybe that was the breaking point on why killing her. I’m sure that gun was giving to him so he could’ve killed him self and at the same time he knew his life was in danger cause of this person. Sooner or later he was going to get killed or get punished in there.

It’s crazy because some year ago( not sure the exact year) someone in my county in GA, died in bootcamp training at Parris Island. This is so heartbreaking. Why did it take so long for the Military to investigate l, if her family were as persistent would it have fallen at the waist side just as Gregory’s disappearance did? Why is it an automatic AWOL before an investigation is conducted. A mother knows when something isn’t right especially when it’s their child

This is why my husband left the army. It’s a bunch of bs and when it came to putting his life on the line overseas they were not to be trusted they almost got him killed multiple times. SMH.
The Army is quick to call a soldier AWOL. Instead of really trying to find this soldier, they rule you AWOL so your family doesn't receive the life insurance. Until they find your human remains.

Whatever Soldier listed Gregory as AWOL should be discharged and relieved from their position permanently. This is to include all of his leadership who didn’t put in the effort to look for him, or fight for the unit to search for him. Absolute negligence to this man who served this country. His leadership let him down and failed him. NEVER LEAVE A FALLEN COMRADE.

You only investigate after people commit suicide. I report my case over 3 years ago but it was dismissed the police say they don't want to investigate SA cases.

My heart just hurts! May they both RIP! I do uber at night and at the base I had a uber eats delivery and a solider tried to get in my car. When i reported it to the guards they told me to go to the police. They didnt care about who the soldier was or anything! So errie and creepy. I do believe that the base is still full of creeps! The military still doesnt care.
This is one crazy sad story and its sad that when you trying to find 1 person u find someone else who've been missing way before her n he is found dead yeah something is not adding up with this military staff

My God, my son is leaving for basic training on Aug.7/2021. Now I’m scared.
I'm a spiritual person. This isn't "coincidence" that this young lady died, and her death, ends up leading to a search that finds Gregory's remains. Her death caused much needed exposure to this base, and resulted in another family getting the answers they needed for their son. This is tragic.
