I am always amazed how rich criminals are always humanized regardless of their crimes regardless of the fact that they had all the opportunities in the world to be good people. Every abused child is different and every abuse case is different. People are born with predispositions toward specific behaviors. Kids have different brain chemistry. No one is making excuses. There are explanations, though. Explanations can provide understanding. Understanding can help prevent behaviors that damage a child who grows up to abuse others. No one is an abuser at birth.

I don't get that impression from this video, really. It reminds me of the portions of the Robert Durst documentary "The Jinx" that covered elements of his early life (e.g., the mysterious death/suicide? of his mother), which give the viewer a deeper context of the person's psyche and motivations, which is not to be confused with a justification or excuse for the person's wrong-doings.
