- Today, I bring you this 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT!!! I made a review on this a couple of months ago, and I was not happy with it, so here is the new one!!! Put in the comments down below what your opinion is on this ram and tell me what your favorite generation of the ram is. This ram has the 4.7 magnum v8 with the optional 5-speed automatic transmission. enjoy!!!

I'm glad you like it!!! It's cool to see these older trucks again in nice shape. It is very refreshing and bring back memories. I got some pretty cool sports cars coming to the channel stay tunned
You kno the thing is about all those trim pieces and interior pieces they are readily available on ebay or other sites and you can pretty much rebuild these trucks from the ground up ask me how i kno cause i got an 04 ram 1500 with led's and all new trim pieces etc.
I have a 2007 Ram 1500. And it 's nice old truck. of course, my has been heavily used with 240k miles on it. But it still looks good and still runs good. You have a super clean truck on your hands, good for you. Thanks for the video.
I'm looking at a 2005 1500 with 200k miles on it. It has the 4.7 V8, would you recommend buying that or finding a different truck?
@@Metal_Mulisha If the truck looks like it is in good condition visually, and if you know the truck was taken care of mechanically. also if you are trying to buy one from a individual I would ask how often they changed the oil. I would say a good mile timing for oil changes would be 3 to 6 thousand miels to be on the safe side. also try to get a carfax or autocheck. and CHECK THE TRANSMISSION make sure it feels strong. it cost arond 2500 to do a transmission. also check behind the back seats and make sure it is dry and no staining. the 3rd brake lighs some times leaks. also back to transmission check the tans dip stick at the left back on the engine make sure it looks good that is for all fluids also. and finely make sure no leaking from the radiator. if all checks out and you want it you are probably good to go. if you want to be extra safe than take it to your local mechanic that you trust and do a once over.
If that all checks out I recommend it and or the 5.7 what ever you can find. They will last if they were taken care of.
I thought I had the cleanest 05’ ram at 114k miles but yours definitely beats mine cause I got a few scuffs on the body, only issues I’ve had is fuel pump replacement and power steering hose. Props on maintenance just get some Ram floor mats and it’s perfect.
