In case you are keeping Track this is Video # 127 of Classic Car ChitChat Videos!
I hope my Classic Car ChitChat videos make you smile. I do them in my spare time because I truly love cars and my intentions are simply to honour the beautiful cars I get to see and to really understand the passion and love of the vehicle by the driver (or caretaker as Jay Leno would say) of the car. I also understand too that my videos perhaps lack the polish calibre of great UA-camrs like: Doug DeMuro, Scotty Kilmer, and of course my favourite Supercar Blondie. I also know that I can’t even come close the quality & finish you get from the likes of Jeremy Clarkson and the boys at Top Gear. I think they use a little fancier equipment than my little iPhone… LOL
Mission Statement:
My Objective through creating these videos is to shine the spotlight on people who love their vehicles whether it be a car, motorcycle, or even a bicycle…. Bottom line is if it has wheels and you love it then let’s show that passion to the world!
Equipment Used:
Camera
- Just an iPhone SE (Nothing fancy - which proves anyone can use whatever you have handy to make a video… you don’t need really expensive equipment)
- I also use Insta 360X2 which is perhaps one of the best investments I have made and allows me to capture some really cool 360 degree views and also creates a “drone like” effect with the invisible selfie stick attachment.
Gimbal - DJI OM4 - For that ultra-smooth cinematic look. (To be honest... still not quite sure how to use it but one day I will figure it out!)
Audio - Rode Wireless GO II (I gotta be honest… this is really the biggest investment that was made… I wish there was a cheaper option but after the first couple of videos I soon realized that audio quality is important and hopefully better than the onboard mic on the iPhone!

Thank You

I have # 01309,same color( which is gomango) Mine is single cab 4x4 with 223k miles.. daily driver. The truck is a absolute beast! I've had it in dry powder south Texas sand, mud and pasture. I've never had anything replaced except battery and one upper control arm. In fact everything under the truck still has all the Mopar OE stickers on it. I absolutely love my truck and if they ever make it again i will be the first in line to order! TEXAS STRONG!🇨🇱
Xxnobull, I completely agree with you. I honestly did not know how cool this truck was until Roy showed me. So underrated by many which I think adds value to those who know what this beast can do. I also wanted to take a moment to personally thank for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. As you may have seen in my videos that my intention is to showcase not only the beautiful car and really give the owner of the car (the caretaker as Jay Leno rightly says) the opportunity to share their story, love and passion for their car. Thanks again Kevin.
This truck really is one of those I always longed to own. This gentleman really knows how unique and valuable This truck is. One of a kind and definitely a future classic.
Thanks Steve
I did't know how unique these trucks were. Thank you for sharing and I couldn't get over what this man has accomplished from such a difficult challenging time from the age of 16. We can all learn something from your example of working hard and following your dreams.
Glad you enjoyed it
Some miss information. They actually made over 10k Daytona rams in 05. And that truck did not come off the dealer lot like that. It's missing a few stock features.
Joe, thanks for sharing.. I will definitely provide your feedback to Roy.

Fantastic Truck. A workhorse and a collector car too.

Got number 3282, gomango, 4 door 4x4 in Alaska
Amazing.. congratulations.. a great truck.
One of the nicest trucks I have seen. I really like the variety of cars on your channel. I remember this guy in the mancave too. AMAZING!
Thank you very much!
This yruck is definitely a keeper.
Agreed

Right on
AWESOME Truck!
It sure is!
Amazing man ❤ Roy ❤
First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos is to allow "ordinary" people who love cars an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them. I would certainly agree Elizabeth. Roy is one of a kind for sure.
I have the single cab silver.. which is the rarest.. they only made a little over 600
That’s amazing and definitely rare. A true collector truck. Did you buy it from new too?
Super cool truck man.
Sure is
My kinda truck.
Thanks Dane
I have one of these trucks and I love it so much
Mcu.. it’s easy to see why. I was wondering if it’s the same colour combination as Roy’s? I also wanted to take a moment to personally thank for taking the time to watching my videos, leaving a comment and for subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it.

@@ClassicCarChitChat yes! mine is the same exact color, except i have a four door and a couple different modifications on it:)
Gotta luv the hemi
I agree
I have a quad cab in silver, I've always received hate because of the styling but they don't know anything about it
Dodgeramfan, I learned a long time ago about not worrying what others say about your car. There are many armchair “drivers” who are happy to dish out opinions without taking a moment to truly understand the owner and their car. Like you I think this truck is extraordinary. Super Awesome truck. Certainly a collector car.
It sure is!
He was born the sixth of June 42.Two years later D day.
Wow, thanks Dennis.
I am still driving this exact same truck. I bought it used in 2007. Mine is number 01520. I don't have the step though. Mine is all original.
Leadstar, First of all thank you so very much for watching my videos and subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention for the videos are not to be "how to" videos (I think there are amazing videos made by others far qualified than me) instead my focus is to create a platform where "ordinary" people who love cars get an opportunity to speak about their car and why that car means so much to them. Lucky you to have such an incredible truck.
Beautiful truck and great review! I have a Ram SRT-10 Viper powered Yellow Fever #328 of 500. 8.3L V10 if you want to review it.
Jaecruz.yes I would love to review it. Are you in the Toronto area? Send me an email at Kevin@ClassicCarChitChat.Com and we can connect. I also wanted to take a moment to personally thank for watching my videos, leaving a comment and for subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it.

To the best of my knowledge a little more then 10k were produced and all made in 2005 for 1 year. There was no 2006. I have a low # with factory leather seats
Nicki.. thank you for sharing and the truck is becoming more of a collector car each day as people are becoming aware of the limited numbers too. What number is yours? I have #01958 silver quad cab 2wd in ON, Canada
A beautiful tru6and what a cool guy. Isn't he the one with the mancave?
Yes James.. Roy is the Studebaker lover and has the man cave.
I have #10,091 05 2wd 4 door gomango 76,000 miles show truck original paint. If they only made 10,000 then why is my number 10, 091 on the dash?
That is a great question.. perhaps more were made. That is not the factory exhaust by the way
Yes it is... I have one
Leerhine, it is in fact straight out of the factory. I also wanted to take a moment to personally thank for taking the time to watching my videos, leaving a comment and for subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it.
